Edward Robert Jones Sr., a driver for Domino's Pizza, died Tuesday of complications from a stroke at Woodland Village in Algiers. He was 57. Mr. Jones was a lifelong resident of Algiers. He graduated from L.B. Landry High School. He was a member of DeGaulle Drive Church of Christ and was an Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Sandra Kay Jones; two sons, Edward Robert Jones Jr. and Robert Eugene Jones; four daughters, Cheri Kay Thalheimer of Picayune, Miss., Teresa Renee Frazzell and Yvette Ann James, both of Gretna, and Michelle Denise LeBlanc of Barataria; two brothers, David and Nicholas Jones; two sisters, Elvira Lewis and Helen Green; 11 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at DeGaulle Drive Church of Christ, 4700 Gen. DeGaulle Dr., Algiers.

Marion Smith Donahue, a former administrative employee for Woolco and Solo, died Sunday of myelofibrosis at Lifecare Hospital of New Orleans. She was 78. Mrs. Donahue was born in Oakdale, grew up in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 47 years. She graduated from Sophie B. Wright High School. Survivors include three sons, Stephen Michael, Christopher Louis and Shawn Joseph Donahue; two daughters, Cynthia D. Collins and Bridget D. Cummins; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. A funeral will be held today at noon at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Park.

Isadore "The Mustard Green Man" Kirklin Sr., a farmer, died Monday at River Parishes Hospital. He was 96. Mr. Kirklin was a lifelong resident of Paulina. Survivors include six sons, Isadore Kirklin Jr., Murphy Kirklin Sr. and Lionel, Melvin, Stanley and Ronald Kirklin; three daughters, Dorothy Barney, Jeannie Gaines and Patricia Long; 31 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. A wake will be held today at 8 p.m. at Evergreen Baptist Church, 3762 Louisiana 44 in Paulina. A dismissal service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Antioch cemetery. William Harold Blackmon, an electronics technician, died Monday at his home in Lincoln County, Miss. He was 87. Mr. Blackmon was born in Centerpoint, Miss., and lived in New Orleans and Slidell before moving to Lincoln County a year ago. He worked for Higgins Industries during World War II and for Boeing Co. at the Michoud Assembly Facility in eastern New Orleans. He formerly owned and operated a TV repair service. He was a former member of Elysian Fields Avenue Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church in Slidell and a member of Topisaw Baptist Church in Lincoln County. He was a member of the Mid-South Matchcover Club, the American Hemerocallis Society and Brookhaven Daylily Club. Survivors include his wife, Imogene Prather Blackmon; two sons, Wayne Harold Blackmon of Slidell and Richard Keith Blackmon of Lincoln County; four grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. A funeral was held Wednesday at Springer Funeral Home in Hazlehurst, Miss. Burial was at Centerpoint Methodist Church in Centerpoint, Miss.

Robert Anthony "Tony" Smith, a wedding planner, died Sept. 21 of complications from AIDS in Hattiesburg, Miss. He was 47. Mr. Smith was born in Washington, D.C., grew up in Hattiesburg and lived in New Orleans for 26 years. Survivors include his father, the Rev. Robert Norman Smith of Hattiesburg, and two brothers, Norman C. Smith of Fairhope, Ala., and C. Randy Smith of Danville, Calif. Edgar L. Taylor Sr., a retired lift operator for Nabisco Coffee Co., died Saturday of chronic lung disease at Memorial Medical Center. He was 72. Mr. Taylor was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. John Bell Wolfe, a retired security guard with IPS Inc. in Austin, Texas, died Thursday of congestive heart failure at East Jefferson General Hospital. He was 53. Mr. Wolfe was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner for the past six years. He was a graduate of Rabouin High School and attended Southern University. Survivors include three sons, Roland Wolfe of Houston, and John C. and Albert Wolfe; three daughters, Samora Hunter of Kentucky and Sherrelle and Tess Wolfe; a brother, Phillip Wolfe of Columbus, Ga.; a sister, Almeda M. Judith T. "Bunny" Bordelon, a blackjack dealer at Harrah's New Orleans Casino, died Thursday of cancer at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was 56. Ms. Bordelon was born in New Orleans and lived in Kenner for 28 years before moving back to New Orleans two years ago. She graduated from St. Mary's Dominican High School. She formerly worked at Treasure Chest casino. Survivors include three sons, Scott Senner and Shane and Brad Bordelon; her father, Anthony Tardo; her mother, Ruth Serpas Ulrich; her stepfather, Richard Ulrich; and two grandchildren. Bennie Margo Alexander, a retired longshoreman, died Sunday of sepsis at Ochsner Foundation Hospital. He was 73. Mr. Alexander was born in Prentiss, Miss., and lived in Kenner for the past 49 years. He was a member of Pilgrim Baptist Church, where he served on the Deacon Board and received the Father of the Year Award. He was a member of the Pride of Waggaman Masonic Lodge No. 42. He served in the Army and received the Korean War Medallion. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Alexander; three sons, William Alexander of Prentiss, Miss., James Alexander of Kenner and Stanley Alexander of Waggaman; three daughters, Debra Hollingsworth of Metairie, Carol A.
