Henry R. Manny Bernie Reddick, a cook, died Sept. 5 of an aneurysm at Charity Hospital. He was 47. Mr. Reddick was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. He attended Joseph S. Clark High School and Job Corps. Survivors include a daughter, Marjara M. James; his mother, Alice R. Holloway; three brothers, James Parker, Underwood W. Scipio Sr. and Thomas Bludsan; four sisters, Roseanna Parker, Hortensia McFarland and Daulvon and Mathilda Reddick; and three grandchildren. A funeral will be held Friday at 8 a.m. at Gaskin-Southall-Gordon & Gordon Mortuary, 1225 N. Rampart St. Burial will be in Providence Memorial Park.

Joseph B. Storey Sr., oil and gas executive
Joseph B. Storey Sr., a retired oil and gas executive, died Wednesday at Lambeth House. He was 90.
A native of Shreveport, Mr. Storey graduated from Louisiana State University, where he was a member of the Kappa Alpha Order.
In 1937, the year he finished college, Mr. Storey moved to Mississippi to be district geologist for Union Producing Inc. Ten years later, he was assigned to New Orleans to be manager for Union Producing Co. and United Gas Pipe Line Co. He held the position until 1958, when he was named vice president in charge of all of Union Producing's drilling and production operations.
A year later, Mr. Storey joined Southdown Corp., which put him in charge of all petroleum activity. He became president of Southdown Exploration Inc. and held that job until 1967, when he became president and chief executive officer of Southdown Burmah Oil Co.
From 1970 to 1980, he was president of Pelto Oil Co., until being named chairman of the board. Mr. Storey was president of the Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association's Louisiana-Arkansas division, the LSU Foundation, the Petroleum Club of New Orleans, New Orleans Country Club, the Mississippi Oil Scouts Association and the Mississippi Geological Society.
In addition to serving on the boards of First Commerce Corp. and the First National Bank of Commerce, Mr. Storey was a member of the Boston Club, the Stratford Club and numerous Carnival organizations.
Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Nelle Quigles Storey; a son, Joseph B. Storey Jr.; two daughters, Anne Carty of Houston and Dottie Charbonnet; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be private. Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
CAMPBELL, CAROLINE S.

Caroline S. Campbell, a retired director of housekeeping at Charity Hospital, died Thursday at her home. She was 101. Mrs. Campbell was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a graduate of Redemptorist High School. She was a member of Ladies of Charity, St. Margaret's Daughters and the Ladies Altar Society. Survivors include two sons, Walter J. and Carroll J. Campbell; a sister, Bernadine Jacobs; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 10 a.m. at All Faiths Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd. Visitation will begin at 8 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
WALZER, HAROLD ALEX SR.

Harold Alex Walzer Sr., a retired meter reader for New Orleans Public Service Inc., died Sunday at his home. He was 79. Mr. Walzer was born in New Orleans and lived in Metairie for the past 42 years. He graduated from Alcee Fortier High School and attended Tulane University on a baseball scholarship. He was a member of the 8 Ballers Club. Mr. Walzer pitched for the Fortier Tarpons baseball team, played on the Jax American Legion team after high school and was named "All Legion Pitcher" in 1940. In 1941, he signed with the professional minor league team the Atlanta Crackers of the Southern Association, and in 1942 he was drafted by the Miami Beach Flamingos of the Florida International League. Mr. Walzer was a parishioner of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church. Survivors include a son, Harold A. Walzer Jr.; two daughters, Diane Dillman and Linda Guillot; a sister, Beverly Schaff; and six grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 11 a.m. at Lamana-Panno-Fallo Funeral Home, 1717 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.

Saul Benjamin Montgomery, a retired maintenance supervisor for the New Orleans Sewerage & Water Board, died of complications from a stroke at Veterans Affairs Medical Center. He was 79. Mr. Montgomery was born in Liverpool, La., and lived in New Orleans for the past 48 years. He attended Hammond High School. He was a parishioner of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. He was a sergeant first class in the Army during World War II and the Korean War. He received bronze stars for serving in Normandy, Northern France, Rhineland and Central Europe. Survivors include his wife, Lillian Armant Montgomery; four sons, Clayton, Randolph, Jesse and Phillip Montgomery; a daughter, Judy Jack; four brothers, Charles, Willie Martin, John B. and Price W. Montgomery; two sisters, Junis M. Humphery and Williestine M. Powell; 16 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 10 a.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 1835 St. Roch Ave. Visitation will be at 8:30 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Debra Gail Bacon Frank, president of Rainbow Brite Enterprises, died Saturday at Meadowcrest Hospital in Gretna of cardiac arrest. She was 45. Mrs. Frank was born in Gretna and lived in Belle Chasse. She was a member of River Region Fellowship Church. Survivors include her husband, Ronald R. Frank Sr.; three brothers, RoberLee Bacon Jr., David Michael Bacon and Thomas Lynwood Bacon; and four sisters, Cynthia Ann Bacon McNabb, Carol Lee Bacon, Tyna Elisabeth Bacon Bastida and Elle Deanne Bacon Nicholas. Vincent Gavan Flynn, a former welfare fraud investigator for the Office of Family Services, died Sept. 4 of complications from a brain tumor at a friend's home. He was 51. Mr. Flynn was born in San Francisco and lived in New Orleans for the past 28 years. He graduated from Washington High School and attended City College in San Francisco. Survivors include his mother, Katherine Flynn of Santa Rosa, Calif.; two brothers, Anthony Flynn of Petaluma, Calif., and Christopher Flynn of Oakland, Calif.; and a sister, Maria Flynn of San Francisco.
