Anthony Billy Dismukes, an infant, died Thursday from a lung disorder at Tulane University Medical Center. Survivors include his father, Joshua Dismukes; his mother, Cassandra Hubble; a sister, Breanna Charity Billiot; and his grandparents, Kenneth Dismukes, Kathleen Frazier and Eldridge Frazier. A Mass will be said today at 2 p.m. at Our Lady of the Isle Catholic Church in Grand Isle. Visitation will be from 8:30 to 10 a.m. at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette. Burial will follow the Mass at the church cemetery.

Augustine Gilmore Winsey, a former nurse's aide, died Saturday at Kenner Regional Medical Center. She was 75. Ms. Winsey was a lifelong resident of New Orleans. She was a graduate of Booker T. Washington High School. She worked at Charity Hospital for 25 years and was a member of New Zion and Second Mount Calvary Baptist churches. Survivors include two daughters, Sharon W. Tyler of Yorktown, Va., and Gail M. Winsey; and a grandchild. A funeral will be held today at 11 a.m. at Second Mount Calvary Baptist Church, 2828 Fourth St. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Burial will be in Metairie Cemetery. Mandin Lee Anthony Cornibe, a retired pipe welder, died Tuesday at his home. He was 87. Mr. Cornibe was born in Slidell and lived in New Orleans for the past 41 years. He was a member of Local Union No. 60 and was a parishioner of St. Dominic Catholic Church. Survivors include his wife, Iola Galatas Cornibe; a son, Fletcher Cornibe; a daughter, Leola C. Perrien of Lafayette; a sister, Evelyn Perry of Germantown, Tenn.; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Mass will be said today at 2 p.m. at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd., Metairie. Visitation will begin at noon. Burial will be in Garden of Memories.

Lawrence Anthony Weixel Sr., a retired New Orleans firefighter, died Saturday at Chalmette Medical Center. He was 92. Mr. Weixel was born in New Orleans and lived in Arabi for the past 40 years. Survivors include his wife, Olga Arnold Weixel; a son, Lawrence Anthony Weixel Jr.; two daughters, Shirley Weixel Jorgenson and Gail Weixel Lapara; a sister, Flora Weixel Kaltenbach; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Hannah D. Payne, a homemaker, died Sept. 3 at Chalmette Medical Center. She was 98. Mrs. Payne was born in Plaquemines Parish and lived in St. Bernard Parish for the past 39 years. She was a member of St. Andrew Baptist Church and served on its Deaconess Board. Survivors include four sons, Lionel, Melvin, Arthur and Thomas Payne; two daughters, Irene P. Brocks and Rosemary P. Rapp; a brother, Ulyesses Duplessis Sr.; two sisters, Leona Cobette and Brenetta Young; 40 grandchildren; 101 great-grandchildren; 60 great-great-grandchildren; and three great-great-great-grandchildren. Clayton J. Peterson Jr., a retired postal employee and former officer with the Los Angeles and New Orleans police departments, died Thursday at his home from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was 66. Mr. Peterson was born in New Orleans and lived in Las Vegas for many years. He graduated from Warren Easton High School. He was a private first class in the Army and served in Germany for two years. Survivors include his companion, Donna Turner, and a daughter, Faith Marie Peterson of Los Angeles.
