HAVERHILL - Albert T. "Nappy" Bonenfant, 89, of 71 Cedar St., died yesterday at his daughter's home in Haverhill.
Mr. Bonenfant was a milkman for the former Wason-MacDonald Co. of Haverhill for more than 40 years and later worked at Gerry's Variety in Groveland for 25 years.
Born in Epping, N.H., he attended the Pollard School in Plaistow, N.H., and was an avid horseracing fan. He enjoyed spending time at Rockingham Park in Salem, N.H.
The widower of Dorothy M. (Brooks) Bonenfant, who died in 1986, he leaves his sons Robert and his wife Joan of Haverhill, and Edward and his wife Elaine of Merrimac, daughters and their husbands Joan and Francis "Bill" Bourque of Haverhill, and Linda and Kevin Braley of Haverhill, sisters Adeline Goldthwaite of Exeter, N.H., and Beatrice Walker of Lincoln, R.I., 13 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one great-great-granddaughter, and several nieces and nephews.
He was also the father of Marilyn (Bonenfant) MacDougall, who died in 1981.
The funeral will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday from Berube-Comeau Funeral Home, 47 Broadway, Haverhill, followed by a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. James Church, also in Haverhill. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Epping.

Claire A. DeMange

LOWELL - Claire A. (Matton) DeMange, 57, widow of Harold J. DeMange, died Saturday at her home in Lowell.
Before her illness, Mrs. DeMange was a registered nurse with Mary Immaculate Health Care Services in Lawrence for 15 years.
Born in Lawrence, she earned her nursing degree from St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing in Lowell, and graduated at the top of her class in 1961. She was a communicant of St. Michael Church in Lowell.
She leaves a daughter Michelle DeMange of Lowell, sons and their wives Thomas O. and Julie of Lowell, and Steven M. and Debora of Dracut, sister Eileen A. DeRoche of Colleyville, Texas, brother Robert H. Matton of Windham, N.H., and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday from Dracut Funeral Home, 2159 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, followed by a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Michael Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.

James B. Enos Sr.

NORTH ANDOVER - James B. Enos Sr., 81, of North Andover and formerly of Melrose, died Saturday at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Enos was a superintendent of the U.S. Postal Service at the General Mail Facility in Boston before he retired in 1971.
Born in Gloucester and reared in Malden, he graduated from Malden High. He had lived in Maine and then in Melrose for 17 years before coming to North Andover three years ago.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
He leaves his wife Margaret (Dwyer) Enos, sons and their wives James B. Jr. and Claire, and Richard W. and Joanne, all of Andover, daughters Joanne Barrett of Woburn and Diane Rideout of Revere, brother William of Florida, sisters Helen Cotillo of New Hampshire, Irene Golden of Revere and Muriel Sopper of Lynnfield, 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 8 a.m. Wednesday from Gately Funeral Home, 79 W. Foster St., Melrose, followed by a Mass at 9 a.m. in St. Mary Church, Melrose. Burial will be in Wyoming Cemetery, also in Melrose.

Allan Firth

METHUEN - Allan Firth, 64, of Evergreen Avenue, died Saturday at the Manchester, N.H., Veterans Hospital.
Prior to his 1986 retirement, Mr. Firth had worked for the Lawrence Post Office since 1963. Before that, he was employed by the Methuen Water Department.
Born in Lawrence, he had lived in Methuen all of his life and was educated there.
He served in the Navy from 1950 to 1953 and with the Army from 1955 to 1961, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was a life member of the Disabled American Veterans and belonged to the Arnold Greenwood Post 8349 Veterans of Foreign Wars in Methuen.
He was a member of St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church in Lawrence and was vice president of its parish council. He also belonged to the John Hancock Lodge AF&AM of Methuen, the Lawrence Lodge of Perfection and the Princes of Jerusalem of Lawrence. He was a charter member of the Rose Croix of Lowell and a member of the Consistory of Boston.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Barbara (Aziz) Firth, sons Allan III and his wife Laurie, and David, all of Salem, N.H., three grandchildren and two nieces.
Funeral services will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. in St. George Antiochian Orthodox Church, Lawrence. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, Methuen. Family and friends may call today from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. George Church, 8 Lowell St., Lawrence.

Malvina Galarneau
LAWRENCE - Malvina (Lavoie) Galarneau of Lawrence died yesterday at the MI Nursing/Restorative Center in Lawrence.
Mrs. Galarneau had celebrated her 100th birthday with family and friends on Jan. 9.
A retired employee of the Arlington Mills, she was born in St. Francis de Bromptonville, Canada, and had lived in Lawrence for many years.
She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish in Methuen, and had belonged to the former St. Anne Parish in Lawrence. She was a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the Methuen Twilighters.
The widow of Lucien N. Galarneau, she leaves daughters Jeanne and her husband Leo Gowan of Port Orange, Fla., Cecile and her husband Paul Fecteau of Ocean City, Md., Rita Drass of Merridanville, Ala., Helen and her husband Normand Sirois of Manchester, N.H., and Annette and her husband Paul Valliere of Methuen, sons Paul E. of Atlanta, Ga., and Claude F. of Columbia, S.C., 36 grandchildren, 75 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.

Doris F. Orde

ANDOVER - Doris F. (Casey) Orde, 84, of North Main Street, died Friday at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mrs. Orde worked for Raytheon Corp. in Andover for more than 20 years before she retired. She was a member of the Raytheon Retirees Association, with whom she traveled extensively during her retirement years.
Born in Lawrence, she had lived in Andover for many years and graduated from the former Punchard High School there. She attended St. Augustine Church in Andover.
Mrs. Orde was an active volunteer with the Andover Senior Center, especially with the Drop-In Center at the Old Town Hall and with the Friendly Visitor Program.
The widow of C. Arnold Orde, she leaves several close friends and cousins.
A funeral Mass will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday in St. Augustine Church. Burial will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
Friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 5 p.m. at Edgerley and Bessom Funeral Home, 33 Pearson St., Andover.

Dale Perrine

LAWRENCE - Dale Perrine, 81, of Lawrence, died yesterday of a stroke at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Perrine served with the Army for 24 years, and achieved the rank of chief petty officer. He was aboard the USS San Francisco during the attack on Pearl Harbor and earned the American Theatre, World War II Victory, American Defense, Asiatic-Pacific Theatre, Philippine Liberation, Navy Occupation and the Extension China Service medals before being honorably discharged.
He was an instructor of seamanship and navigation at the Naval Academy in Annapolis, and had also worked for the Merrimack Paper Co. of Lawrence for many years before he retired.
Born in Centralia, W. Va., he graduated from Sutton High School in West Virginia and had lived in South Lawrence for many years.
The widower of Jean M. (Fecko) Perrine, he leaves a daughter Pamela J. and her husband Michael W. Bosse of South Lawrence, a son Dale R. and his wife Dale Ann of Lacey, Wash., sister Lorene Barnes of West Virginia, five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Wednesday evening at 8 at Pollard Funeral Home Inc., 233 Lawrence St., Methuen. Burial will be in Poplar Ridge Cemetery in West Virginia.
Family and friends may call Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 p.m. before services at the funeral home.
