Walter C. Parker, 87, a longtime resident of North Andover, died Saturday, June 2 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Lawrence and educated in Methuen, Mr. Parker worked as a chemist at Mead Paper Co. of Lawrence for many years.
Mr. Parker was an active member of St. Michael Church in North Andover, serving as a church lector and a member of the Holy Name Society. A member of the Knights of Columbus, he enjoyed watching sports and bowling.
Members of his family include his wife of 63 years, Helen B. (Phelan) Parker; sons and their wives, Walter J. and Patricia Parker, and Robert and Ellen Parker, all of North Andover; daughter, Carole and husband Stanley Zola of Boca Raton, Fla.; sister, Margaret Bruce of Florida; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Robert H. Haefling

Robert H. Haefling, 84, a longtime Andover resident, died Sunday, June 3 at Wingate Nursing Home.
Born in Montclair, N.J., and educated in Verona, N.J., Mr. Haefling worked for 34 years at Western Electric, AT&T and Lucent Technologies Inc. He was an active member of West Parish Church, where he served as deacon.
Mr. Haefling served in the Army during World War II. He enjoyed skiing, fishing, camping and photography.
Members of his family include his wife of 51 years, Barbara (Anderson) Haefling; daughters, Beverly E. and husband Thomas Call of Windham, N.H., Cynthia A. and husband the Rev. J. David Stinson of Glen Ridge, N.J., and Andrea J. Haefling of Andover; sister, Dorothy Clover of Denville, N.J.; six grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Ella M. (Witzgall) Crosdale, 90, formerly of Lawrence and North Andover, died Saturday, June 2 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born and educated in Lawrence, Mrs. Crosdale worked in local textile mills and at New York Toy Co. in Lawrence.
She was the widow of Paul C. Crosdale.
Members of her family include her son and daughter-in-law, Richard P. and Barbara Crosdale of Long Beach, Calif.; daughter and son-in-law, Carol M. and Thomas W. Muldoon of Andover; brother, Herbert Witzgall of North Andover; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Boles Memorial-Baron-McAuliffe-Yameen Funeral Home, 184 Jackson St., Lawrence.
Funeral services there will be today, Thursday, June 7 at 10 a.m., with burial in Bellevue Cemetery, Lawrence.

Patricia (Bourdelais) Brazee, 63, of Andover, died Thursday, May 24 at Lawrence General Hospital.
At one time, Mrs. Brazee worked at Raytheon Co. in Andover.
Born in Lawrence, she was educated in Andover. She lived in Andover all of her life.
Members of her family include her husband, William R. Brazee; sisters, Isabel Monette of Oklawaha, Fla., Ethel Lister of Hampstead, N.H., Irene Hobbs of Salem, N.H., and Jacqueline Simard of Ormond Beach, Fla.; brother, Howard Bourdelais of Arcadia, Fla.; and several nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.

Marie A. Pettoruto, 59, of Andover, died Saturday, June 2 at home.
She was born and educted in Lawrence.
Mrs. Pettoruto worked at Western Electric and was also a dental assistant.
Members of her family include her husband of 31 years, Lawrence Pettoruto; daughter, Amanda Pettoruto; sons, Michael Pettoruto, and Ronald and his wife Cindy Hatem of Methuen; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were private and under the direction of Hart-Wallace Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, Lawrence.
A memorial Mass will be said Saturday, June 30 at 9 a.m. at St. Monica's Church in Methuen for family and friends of Marie Pettoruto of Andover.
Mrs. Pettoruto, 59, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, June 2. Members of her family include her husband, Larry; daughter, Amanda; sons, Mike and Ron Hatem and his wife Cyndi; and grandsons, Kyle and Ronnie Hatem.

Grace V. Thomson, 92, of Andover, died Sunday, June 10 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mrs. Thomson was a waitress at the former Ford's Coffee Shop on Main Street, and also at the Shawsheen Luncheonette.
She was a member of Free Christian Church.
She loved to braid rugs in her spare time.
She was the widow of Alexander Thomson. Members of her family include her sons and daughter-in-laws, Alexander Jr. and Margaret Thomson and Alan and Susan Thomson, all of Andover; sister, Olive McCann of Methuen, two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Marion E. Garside

Marion E. (Hardy) Garside, 92, of Tewksbury died Saturday, June 9 at Wentworth Nursing Home in Lowell.
Born and educated in Andover, she graduated from the former Punchard High School in 1925. She later graduated from the former Lowell Commercial College.
Mrs. Garside was a secretary by the Myers Thread Co. of Lowell before she retired. Before that, she was the secretary for the superintendent of Andover public schools.
Mrs. Garside lived in Tewksbury since 1936 and was a member of First Baptist Church for more than 60 years, where she was a member of the Philathea Group.
She was the widow of David Garside. Members of her family include sons, David Jr. and his wife Marilyn Garside of Waterford, Conn., and Thomas E. Garside of Tewksbury; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and several cousins. She was also mother of the late Adrith L. Goddard.
Calling hours are today, Thursday, June 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury.
Funeral services will be Friday, June 15 at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church, 1500 Andover St., Tewksbury. Burial will be in West Parish Cemetery, Andover.

Marjorie Emmons

Marjorie (West) Emmons, 91, of Andover, died Thursday, June 7 at Lawrence General Hospital. Born and educated in Andover, Mrs. Emmons graduated from Punchard High School in 1927 and from Boston University.
She worked at Boston Five Cents Savings Bank and Andover Gift Shop.
Mrs. Emmons was a member of South Church for 78 years, and served on many committees there.
She was the widow of William V. Emmons. Members of her family include her son, Donald G. Emmons and wife Barbara of Gaithersburg, Md.; daughters and their husbands, Elaine E. and James Morrison of Enfield, N.H., and Joanne E. and Dr. Ronald Smith of North Andover; three grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 16 at 11 a.m. in South Church.
