Lauretta E. Dzierlatka

Lauretta E. (Lacroix) Dzierlatka, 77, a longtime resident of Mystic Street in Methuen, died Saturday, July 7 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born and educated in Fall River, Mrs. Dzierlatka worked at Raytheon Co. in Andover for 25 years. She also served as an officer with the Mystic Street Tenants Association for several years.
Mrs. Dzierlatka was a longtime member of the Methuen Senior Citizens and volunteered in its gift shop. She resided in greater Lawrence since 1956.
She was the widow of Anthony Dzierlatka.
Members of her family include sons, Joseph A. Dzierlatka of Pelham, N.H., and Stanley Dzierlatka of Salem, N.H.; daughter, Lauri and husband Stephen Francis of Somerville,Texas; two grandchildren; one great-grandson; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Stephanie Jarosz

Stephanie Jarosz, 74, died Thursday, July 5 at Wingate Nursing Home.
Ms. Jarosz was a spinner and bobbin stripper for the former Pacific Mills.
Born in Lawrence, she graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a member of Holy Trinity Church in Lawrence.
Members of her family include a brother, Walter Jarosz of Methuen; sisters, Stella Sullivan of Andover and Sister Anice Jarosz of Hamburg, N.Y.; and several nieces and nephews.

James C. Reardon

James C. Reardon, 89, of Andover and Naples, Fla., died Tuesday, July 10 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Reardon retired as vice president from Kaler, Carney & Liffler in Boston. He also worked for the Boston Housing Authority as an insurance adviser, Commission of Public Safety in Lawrence, and was an insurance adviser for L.M. Sonnebend Hotel Corp. for several years.
Born in Lawrence, he graduated from Lawrence High School, Dartmouth College and USFG Insurance School. He was the youngest member of the Lawrence School Board.
During World War II, Mr. Reardon served in the Army in Germany.
Mr. Reardon was a member of the Gridiron Club of Boston, Clover Club of Boston and a former member of Vesper Country Club and Andover Country Club.
He was also a former member of the Lawrence Lodge of Elks.
Members of his family include his wife of 61 years, Louise (Wakefield) Reardon; and several cousins.
Calling hours are today, Thursday, July 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burke Funeral Home, 390 N. Main St., Andover.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, July 13 at 10 am. at St. Mary's Church in Lawrence.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Immaculate Conception Cemetery.

Leila R. Iovino

Leila R. (Martone) Iovino, 80, died Tuesday, July 10 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she graduated from Lawrence High School and was a member of the Alumni Association. She was also a member of the Pioneers of America.
Mrs. Iovino was a solderer at Western Electric for 28 years until she retired in 1982.
She was the widow of Alfred Iovino.
Members of her family include her sister, Mollie M. Gueli of Methuen; brothers, Antonio J. Martone of Lawrence, John R. Martone of Florida, and Louis J. Martone and Dino J. Martone, both of Methuen; and several nieces and nephews.

Harry Loosigian

Harry Loosigian, 83, of Andover died Monday, July 16 at home.
Mr. Loosigian was co-owner and operator of Pleasant View Farms of Andover from 1950 to 1980, then Loosigian Farms of Methuen since 1981.
Born in North Andover and educated in Andover, he graduated from Punchard High School in 1938.
He was a member of the Boston Market Gardener's Association, New England Vegetable Growers Association, Massachusetts Farm Bureau, Massachusetts Flower Growers Association. He was a 33rd degree Mason of St. Matthew's AF&AM Lodge in Andover.
He was the widower of Gertrude (Hughes) Loosigian. Members of his family include sons and daughters-in-law, Greg and Amy Loosigian of Methuen and John and Anne Loosigian of Andover; daughters, Jeanne Loosigian of Andover, Lauren and her husband Mark Fleischer of Methuen, Amy Loosigian and her husband Richard Oster of Seabrook, N.H., and Diane Loosigian of Andover; brother, William Loosigian of Hampton, N.H.; sisters, Mary Ovoian of Watertown, Sophie Martin of Milford and Vee Franklin of Watertown; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond J. Evans

Raymond J. Evans, 87, of Lawrence died Wednesday, July 11 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Evans was a lineman at Malden Mills until he retired.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he lived in the city all his life. He was a member of the French Social/Naturalization Club in Lawrence.
Members of his family include his wife, Doris (Ball) Evans; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Carol Evans of Deerfield, N.H.; daughter and son-in-law, Jane and Robert Meehan of Winchester; sister, Evelyn Wilk of Lawrence; stepdaughters, Sandra and husband John Pagliuso and Judith Marcoux and her husband Jack Rogers, all of Lawrence; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was also stepfather of the late Richard Marcoux.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Francis J. Harty

Francis James Harty, 81, of Lawrence died Wednesday, July 11 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Mr. Harty was an accountant for the Lawrence School Department and the office of the Massachusetts State Comptroller. He also worked as an auditor of the Massachusetts Department of Public Welfare and a public accounting firm. He also worked as assistant to the treasurer of Sheraton Hotels Corp.
He was an accountant for the city of Lawrence until he retired.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he graduated from Lawrence High School.
He received a bachelor's degree in business administration from Boston University and attended Duke University-Army Finance School.
During World II, Mr. Harty served in the Army as a finance disbursing officer in Europe, and during the Korean War served as budget and fiscal officer in Michigan, with a total of eight years active military service. He received four battle stars.
Members of his family include several cousins.
