Paul Allen Hood, 76, of Wildwood Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 28 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
He was born and educated in Andover.
During World War II, Mr. Hood served in the Navy on the submarine Sea Owl. He was a 50-year Mason at St. Matthew's AF&AM Lodge in Andover. He was formerly the captain of the Rag Top in the Shriners.
Members of his family include his wife, Marguerite "Peggie" (Shaw) Hood; sons, Paul A. Hood Jr. and his wife Kathleen of Southwick and Bruce S. Hood of Andover; daughter, Sydney-Anne Hood of Andover; and two grandchildren.

Calling hours are today, Thursday, Aug. 30 from 6 to 9 p.m. at Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover. Funeral services will be Saturday, Sept. 1 at 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be private.

Bertha M. (Mahoney) Williams, 96, died Monday, Aug. 27 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Williams worked on the North Shore for various families in Swampscott.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she graduated from Lawrence High School.
She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/St. Augustine's Church, Lawrence.
Members of her family include daughter, Joyce Anne Kater and sister, Helen Ganley, both of Methuen; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Abigail M. (Greene) Robertson, 92, of Lawrence and formerly of Andover, died Friday, Aug. 31 at Sunbridge Nursing Home.
Born in Andover, Mrs. Robertson worked at Tyer Rubber Co. for more than 50 years. She was a member of St. Augustine Church in Andover.
She was the mother of the late Patricia C. Robertson.
Members of her family include her grandchildren, Ellen Kipfer of Denver, Abby J. Robertson of Pepperell, Robert W. Phinney Jr. of Duxbury, and Martha S. Babbit of Bolton; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Victor A. Gagne

Victor A. Gagne, 53, of Randolph, Maine and formerly of Andover, died Saturday, Sept. 1 in Maine.
Mr. Gagne was a truck driver and transportation manager at Auto Parts Express in Maine and Massachusetts for more than 30 years.
Born and educated in Methuen, he was a former resident of Maple Avenue in Andover before moving to Maine.
Mr. Gagne served in the Navy.
Members of his family include his wife, Sally (Herron) Gagne; sons, David H. and Scott A. Gagne, and Robert Pellegrino Jr.; daughters, Michelle Lee Gagne and Jessica Brooks, all of Randolph; three grandchildren; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a graveside service is scheduled for today, Thursday, Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. at Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen. Arrangements are by Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen.

Josephine T. Nicolosi, 72, of McKenney Circle, died Tuesday, Aug. 28 at home.
Ms. Nicolosi was an insurance broker at Obion Insurance Co. in Boston for several years, until retiring in 1984.
Born in Gloucester, she graduated from Gloucester High School in 1947 and Salem Commercial College.
Members of her family include a brother, Michael S. Nicolosi of North Andover; sisters, Rose E., Eleanor M. and Frances L. Nicolosi, all of Andover; and several nieces and nephews.

Mark E. Neistadt

Mark E. Neistadt, 40, of Spokane, Wash. and formerly of Andover, died Monday, Sept. 3 in Spokane.
He was educated in Andover schools and moved to California more than 20 years ago. Mr. Neistadt moved to Washington a few months ago.
Members of his family include his mother, Sylvia (Cutler) Neistadt of Haverhill; father, Martin Neistadt of Methuen; sister, Jill Roueche of Niwot, Colo.; sons, Paul and Damon Neistadt of New Jersey, and Mark Jr. and Jonathan Neistadt of California; two nieces; and a nephew.

Grace Dunlavey

Grace M. (Caveney) Dunlavey, 81, of Andover and formerly of Lowell, died Monday, Sept. 10 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mrs. Dunlavey was born in Lowell. She was a member of St. Augustine Church and the Holy Rosary Sodality.
She was the widow of Joseph F. Dunlavey. Members of her family include her daughters, JoAnn G. Dunlavey of Andover and Barbara M. O'Neill and her husband Ted of North Easton; sisters, Mary Cote of Chelmsford, Claire Doherty of Lowell and Helen Ecklund of Dracut; five grandsons and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Thomas J. Dunlavey.
A memorial service will be held Friday, Sept. 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Augustine Church, Andover. Cremation will take place at Linwood Crematory.

Shirley M. (Fuoco) Pinto, 69, of Tyngsboro and formerly of Andover, died Thursday, Sept. 6 at home.
She was born in Lawrence. Mrs. Pinto worked at First Essex Bank before she retired.
Members of her family include her husband of 49 years, Anthony A. Pinto; mother, Mildred (Paolino) Fuoco; daughters, Cheryl Pinto and her husband Ronald Madigan of Peabody, Karen Pinto of Wakefield and Leslie Pinto-Bowden and her husband Russell Bowden of Groveland; sister, Constance Caruso of Andover; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Rose Koffman

Rose Koffman, 91, of Lauderhill, Fla. and a former longtime Andover resident, died Wednesday, Sept. 5 at home.
She was born and raised in Haverhill, and lived in Lawrence before moving to Andover where she lived for 50 years. She lived in Florida for the last 30 years.
Mrs. Koffman was a member of the sisterhood of Congregation Tifereth Israel and was a member of Hadassah.
She was the widow of Harry H. Koffman. Members of her family include sons, Mitchell "Mike" Koffman and David Koffman and his wife, Arlene, all of Delray Beach, Fla.; a sister, Beatrice Liberman; nine grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
