LAWRENCE - Sarina A. (Campione) Rossi of Lawrence died yesterday at Meadows Health Center in North Andover.
Mrs. Rossi was a homemaker. Before that, she worked in the banking industry in Mamaroneck, N.Y. and later as an executive secretary for the American Woolen Co. of Lawrence.
Born in North Andover, she was educated in local schools and attended New York business schools.
She leaves her husband Dominic A. Rossi of Lawrence, sons Louis F. of Bolton and Frank A. of North Andover, daughter Maria A. Rossi of Lawrence, sister Anita Campione of North Andover, four grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Michael Church in North Andover. Burial will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.
Family and friends may call tomorrow from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home, 17 Third St., North Andover.
Katherine A. Smith

METHUEN - Katherine A. (MacLeod) Smith, 99, of Daley Avenue, died yesterday at Holy Family Hospital.
Mrs. Smith, a homemaker, was born in Prince Edward Island, Canada, and had lived in Boston before moving to Methuen to live with her daughter.
She attended the First Calvary Baptist Church in North Andover and had enjoyed travel in her younger years.
The widow of Harry C. Smith, she leaves her daughter and son-in-law Dorothy and Richard M. Power of Methuen, sister May Compton of Cambridge, and several nieces and nephews.
There are no calling hours.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. tomorrow at Charles F. Dewhirst Funeral Home, 80 Broadway in Methuen. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery, West Roxbury.

Lillian D. Smith

SALISBURY - Lillian D. Smith, 67, of 197 Elm St., died Friday at the Greenleaf House Nursing Home in Salisbury.
Mrs. Smith had worked at Ruth Shoe and at C.B.S. Hytron.
Born in Newburyport, she had lived there for many years and was the widow of Clyde Smith Jr.
She leaves her daughters Carol George and her husband Charles of Salisbury, Denise Boyd of St. Petersburg, Fla., Deborah Douglas of Clearwater, Fla., and Darlene Cole of Newburyport, sons Dennis Fowler of the Bradford section of Haverhill, Dean Fowler of Amesbury and Douglas Smith of Newburyport, sisters Thelma Connors and Louise McLaughlin, both of Newburyport, 14 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Smith was also the mother of the late Ronald Fowler.
By request of the family, there will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Funeral Home, 35 Green St., Newburyport. Burial, in the spring, will be in Long Hill Cemetery, Salisbury.

Edythe H. Snow

HAVERHILL - Edythe Helene (Shattuck) Snow, 76, of 178 Hilldale Ave., died Saturday at the Hale Hospital in Haverhill.
Born and educated in Haverhill, she was the widow of Richard E. Snow and spent her life devoted to her family.
She leaves sons and their wives, Rick and Peggy of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Larry and Maureen of Haverhill, daughters Beverly and her husband Joseph Keene of Winter Springs, Fla., Judy Garrett and Frank Ward of Plaistow, N.H., Teri Schena of Haverhill, and Susanne Snow and her husband Peter Crowley of Beverly, 22 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Snow was also the mother of the late Sharon (Snow) Goudreault.
A celebration of life will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in Sacred Hearts Church in the Bradford section of Haverhill. Burial will be in Linwood Cemetery, also in Haverhill.

Ronald Clamp

METHUEN -- Ronald Clamp, 79, of 8 Glenwood Ave., died Saturday at home.
Born in Wakefield, Yorkshire, England, Mr. Clamp was an industrial engineer and electrical engineer for J.P. Stevens.
Mr. Clamp served as a major in the Army National Guard during World War II with the 26th Yankee Division.
He was a ham radio operator for many years, and a member of the USCG Power Squadron.
The widower of Marjorie (Guilfoyle) Clamp, who died in 1992, he leaves daughters Carol Clamp and her husband Robert Feugill of Shelburne, N.H., and Marsha Clamp of Worcester; and brother Melvin of Hampton, N.H.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at John Breen Funeral Home, 122 Amesbury St., Lawrence. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen.

John B. Corey

LAWRENCE -- John Bernard Corey, 66, a lifelong resident of Lawrence, died yesterday at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. Corey graduated from Merrimack College in North Andover, and studied at Bentley College in Waltham. He was a member of the Men of St. Patrick Church and the A.O.H.
He served as a sergeant in the Marine Corps during the Korean War.
He leaves his wife Marie J. (Vanasse) Corey of Lawrence; sons and their wives John B. and Diana of London, England, and Andrew F. and Barrie-Jane of Derry, N.H.; daughters Mary Lou and her husband Timothy Conroy of Evans, N.Y., and Ann M. Corey of Lawrence; brother Thomas V. of Laurel, Md.; seven grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Family and friends may call tomorrow from 4 to 8 p.m. at Hart-Wallace Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway.
A funeral service will be Thursday at 9 a.m. at the funeral home, followed at 10 a.m. by a funeral Mass in St. Patrick Church.

Frederick Cross III

DERRY, N.H. -- Frederick Cross III, 35, formerly a longtime resident of Salem, died Sunday at Parkland Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, Mass., and educated in Salem, Mr. Cross graduated with honors from East Coast Aero Tech in Bedford, Mass., and worked as a heavy equipment operator at Dirt Monsters Inc. of Derry.
A member of First Congregational Church of Salem, he was also active with the Salem Little League, the Salem Saints, and Salem Youth Hockey. In 1976, he received an award for heroism from the Boy Scouts and the state of New Hampshire for saving a young girl's life.
He leaves his parents Frederick Jr. and Jean (Drinkwater) Cross of Salem; sisters Dianne Giordano of Londonderry, and Brenda Cross and Carole Cross of Salem; grandparents Frederick Sr. and Carolyn Cross of Searsmont, Maine; and two nephews and one niece.
Family and friends may call tomorrow from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Douglas and Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem.

Fred A. Kruse

SALEM, N.H. -- Fred A. Kruse, 66, died Friday at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, Mass., after a brief illness.
Mr. Kruse was a former state representative, serving two terms from 1993 to 1994, and 1995 to 1996. He was also an active member and former chairman of the Salem School Board and the Salem Budget Committee from 1980 to 1990.
Born in Kalamazoo, Mich., and educated in Middletown, Ohio, he worked as an electronics engineer for Raytheon Service Co. in Burlington, Mass. He served in the Army National Guard in Ohio and Maryland.
He was a member of the Salem Barnstormers, the Southern New Hampshire R.C. Club of Nashua, and the Academy of Model Aeronautics.
He leaves his wife Georgia (Brumley) Kruse of Salem; sons and their wives Fred A. Jr. and Candia of Boulder, Colo., and Frank K. and Ann of Park City, Utah; daughters and their husbands Karen E. and Cameron Dawson of East Falmouth, Mass., and Melinda and Paul DiPerna of San Clemente, Calif.; brother John R. of Nome, Alaska; sister Dorothea Hinkle of Port Orange, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
There will be no calling hours.
A memorial service will be tomorrow at 10 a.m. in Triumphant Cross Lutheran Church, Zions Hill Road.
