Violet H. (Guyette) Saulnier, 74, of Salem, N.H., died Sunday, Oct. 10, at Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center in Methuen.
Mrs. Saulnier was born and educated in Lawrence. She previously had lived in Andover and Derry, N.H.
Mrs. Saulnier was an assembler for Honeywell of Lawrence.
She was a member of St. Joseph Church in Salem, N.H.
Members of her family include her sons and daughters-in-law, Linus and Betty Saulnier of Bradford, Michael and Pamela Saulnier of Raymond, N.H., and Bruce and Kathleen Saulnier of Salem, N.H. daughters and sons-in-law, Francine and Charles Duchaine of Lawrence, Eleanor and Errico D'Agostino of Bow, N.H., Eileen and Chris Pappadopoulos of Andover; and Janet and James DeDeus of Bedford, N.H.; 15 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of Linus G. Saulnier.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday at St. Joseph Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lawrence.

Naomi Ruth Shertzer

Naomi Ruth (Levy) Shertzer, 65, of Brookline, died Saturday, Oct. 9, at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center/East Campus in Boston after suffering complications from a stroke.
The former Andover resident was born in Dover, N.J., and grew up in New York City.
She was a graduate of the Cooper Union in New York City and of Harvard University with a master's degree in education.
Mrs. Shertzer was an outreach coordinator at the University of New Hampshire for one year.
She was outreach coordinator for adult education at Northern Essex Community College in Lawrence for 25 years.
Members of her family include her husband, Gerald Shertzer of Brookline; daughters, Amy Ruth Shertzer of New York City, and Rebecca Ann Shertzer and her partner, Muriel Ortiz of Amissville, Va.; son, Dan Boaz Shertzer of Athens, Ga., and his wife, Deborah Martin; and sister, Deborah Stevens of New York City.
Services were private.
Arrangements were by Levine Chapel in Brookline.

Joan F. Yancey

Joan F. (O'Brien) Yancey, 69, of Norwood died Monday, Oct. 4, at Caritas Norwood Hospital, after complications from Parkinson's disease.
Mrs. Yancey was born in Lawrence and grew up in Ballardvale. She graduated from Punchard High School and Mt. Ida College.
Mrs. Yancey worked at Raytheon in Andover and as a flight attendant for American Airlines and Macchi Airlines.
After moving to Norwood in 1961, she had been active in St. Timothy's Guild, the League of Women Voters and the local PTA.
Members of her family include her husband of 38 years, Robert G. Yancey; sons, Rob Yancey and Mark Yancey, both of Seattle, Wash., and Scott Yancey of Anchorage, Alaska; brother, James S. O'Brien of Salisbury Beach; and cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was the daughter of the late Richard and Beatrice (Scott) O'Brien, who owned and operated the Ballardvale variety store and post office.
A funeral Mass was said Friday at St. Timothy's Church in Norwood. Burial was in Highland Cemetery, also in Norwood.
Arrangements were by Gillooly Funeral Home, in Norwood.

Eleanor A. Dyke

Eleanor A. (Hughes) Dyke, 76, of Chelmsford died Thursday, Oct. 14, at Lowell General Hospital.
Mrs. Dyke was born, raised and educated in Greater Lawrence. She was a graduate of Presentation of Mary Academy in Methuen.
The former Andover resident was a member of St. Augustine Church and a founding member of the Andona Society.
Mrs. Dyke was a comptroller for the one-time Wilmington Ford in Wilmington, before she retired.
Members of her family include her son and daughter-in-law, Barry J. and Kathleen T. Dyke of North Hampton, N.H.; good friend, John Terry of Chelmsford; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Warren Dyke and mother of the late Bruce J. Dyke.
A funeral Mass was said Tuesday in St. Augustine Church. Burial was in West Parish Garden Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Charles Dewhirst Edgerly & Bessom Funeral Home.

Marie S. Eastwood

Marie (Sirois) Eastwood, 99, of Andover died Friday, Oct. 15, at Sutton Hill Retirement Center in North Andover.
Mrs. Eastwood was born in Lawrence. She was a graduate of Lawrence High and Macintosh School of Business.
Mrs. Eastwood worked in the corporate office of American Woolen Co. in Shawsheen Village and became executive secretary to the editor of Booster Magazine, the voice of the American Woolen Co. She remained with the company until her marriage in 1925.
Mrs. Eastwood was a charter member of the Court St. Monica Chapter of the Catholic Daughters, secretary of Shawsheen School PTA and longtime member of the St. Clare League and the Guild of the Infant Savior. She made and dressed hundreds of dolls for Bon Secours and Holy Family Hospital auxiliaries, where she was a member of the board. She also donated thousands of hours to the hospital.
She retired in her mid-90s after an accident to her knee that made it impossible to walk.
Members of her family include her son, John Eastwood of North Oxford; daughters, Marie O'Brien of Lady Lake, Fla., and Kathleen Gildea of Canton; sister, Rita Dolan of Andover; 19 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of J. Harold Eastwood.
A funeral Mass was said Tuesday at St. Augustine Church. Burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Dewhirst and Conte Funeral Home.

Edith V. Barrett

Edith V. (Johnson) Barrett, 91, of Salem, N.H, died Monday, Oct. 18, at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.
Mrs. Barrett was born, raised and educated in Andover.
She was a waitress at Thompson Restaurant in North Andover for several years and later worked in food service at Raytheon Co. in Andover.
The 45-year resident of Salem attended Fellowship Methodist Church in Lowell.
Members of her family include her daughter-in-law, Rita Barrett of Salem, N.H.; sister, Edna Henderson, also of Salem; and several nieces and nephews.
She was the widow of Larken Barrett and mother of the late Donald Barrett.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Goundrey & Mundry Funeral Home in Salem, N.H. Burial was in Westlawn Cemetery in Lowell.
