Pinkesh K. Bhatt, 26, of Andover died at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.
Mr. Bhatt was born and educated in India.
He was a civil engineer.
Members of his family include his wife, Neba DeSai.
Memorial services and cremation were at Linwood Chapel in Haverhill.
Arrangements were by American Cremation Society of Haverhill.
Arthur E. Banker

Arthur E. Banker, 78, of Andover died Saturday, Nov. 27, at Lawrence General Hospital.
The longtime resident of North Andover was a graduate of Johnson High. At a high school baseball game against Phillips Academy, he pitched against former president George Bush, the first baseman for PA.
Mr. Banker earned a degree from Bentley College.
He served in the U.S. Navy in the Pacific Theater during World War II.
He had been an accountant for 40 years when retired from Western Electric and AT&T.
Mr. Banker was inducted into the Johnson-North Andover Hall of Fame, and was a member of Cochichewick Lodge AF&AM of North Andover, where he received a 50-year pin, Crystal Springs Golf Club, North Andover VFW, Lawrence British Club and Lawrence Lodge of Elks.
He enjoyed golfing, bowling and playing 45s.
Members of his family include his daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Kenneth Pustis of Andover, with whom he lived, Rose Marie and Stephen Kouroyen of Bangor, Maine, Joan and George Lavasseur of Easley, S.C., Jane and Stanley Molchan of West Boxford, and Kristen and David Giribaldi of Methuen; son, Donald Banker of Methuen; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the widower of Marie M. MacDonald.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home in North Andover. Burial was in Ridgewood Cemetery, also in North Andover.

Georgina T. Petrie

Georgina T. Petrie, 95, of Andover died Tuesday, Nov. 23, at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Petrie was born in Abroath, Scotland. She was educated in the Andover school system and graduated from MacIntosh Business School.
Mrs. Petrie was a supervisor with Tyre Rubber Co. in Andover when she retired.
She was a member of Free Christian Church, and the Ladies Auxiliary to the Order of Scottish Clans in the USA and Canada.
Members of her family include her sister, Isabella N. Petrie of Andover; brother, David R. Petrie of Medfield; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
A funeral service was held Friday in Burke Funeral Home. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery.

Jeanette E. Lastra

Jeanette E. (Cronin) Lastra, 81, of North Andover died Thursday, Nov. 25, at Holy Family Hospital and Medical Center in Methuen.
Mrs. Lastra was born in Andover
She attended St. Augustine Church.
Members of her family include her sons and daughters-in-law, Ronald and LaDona Lastra and Peter and Gloria Lastra, all of California, and Thomas and Judy Lastra of Woburn; daughter, Janice Carney of Salem, N.H., brother, Thomas Cronin, also of Salem, N.H.; sister, Dorothy Mistretta of Seminole, Fla; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Monday at Burke Funeral Home. Burial was in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Marilyn D. MacKenzie

Marilyn D. (Locke) MacKenzie, 68, of West Harwich and Vero Beach, Fla., died Monday, Nov. 29, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
Mrs. MacKenzie was born in Boston and raised and educated in North Quincy. After her graduation from North Quincy High School in 1949, she studied drama and voice at Leland Powers in Boston. She transferred to Boston University and received a degree in education in 1954.
Mrs. MacKenzie married in 1953 and moved to Weymouth. She taught fourth grade in the Abington school system for several years before she moved to New Jersey, Georgia and New York.
She settled in Andover in 1968 and was a substitute teacher in Reading while her children were young.
Mrs. MacKenzie became an assistant activities director at a nursing home in Lawrence during the 1970s.
She was a member and past president of the Village Garden Club in Andover.
Mrs. MacKenzie moved to West Harwich in 1991 and for the past five years divided her time between Harwich and Vero Beach, Fla. She was a member of the Harwich Garden Club and Cranberry Golf Group and chairperson of the Harwich Beautification Committee. She had been a volunteer at the children's theater in West Harwich and was a member of Pilgrim Congregational Church.
Mrs. MacKenzie had a passion for the ocean and sailing, and enjoyed bird-watching and singing, particularly in church choirs.
Members of her family include her husband, Earl MacKenzie Jr. of West Harwich; son, Kenneth E. MacKenzie of Andover; daughter, Deborah L. Evans, also of Andover; stepmother, Mildred Locke of Vero Beach, Fla., and one granddaughter.
A funeral service was held Saturday in Pilgrim Congregational Church in Harwich Port. Interment was in Mount Wollaston cemetery in Quincy.
Arrangements were by Doane, Beal & Ames in West Harwich.

David H. Batchelder

David H. Batchelder, 68, of Danville, Vt., died at a hospital in St. Johnsbury, Vt., Sunday, Dec. 6.
Mr. Batchelder was born in Andover, the son of Sidney and Isabelle (Gamble) Batchelder. He graduated from Punchard High School in 1949 and served in the Navy during peacetime.
The Batchelders lived on Lowell Street until they moved to Vermont three years ago. Winters were recently spent at their Ft. Pierce, Fla., residence.
Mr. Batchelder was a real estate appraiser for the town of Burlington, Mass., and a full-time firefighter for the Andover Fire Department.
He retired as a consultant to the Ayer town assessors.
Mr. Batchelder was a longtime Belmont town appraiser and past president of Middlesex County and State of Massachusetts assessors associations.
He participated in the founding of Andover Elks Lodge B.P.O.E. 2198 where he was a past exulted ruler and served as past district deputy to the grand exulted ruler on a district level.
Members of his family include his wife, Louise (Moore) Batchelder of Danville, Vt.; daughters, Wanda Batchelder of Andover, Beth Ouellette of Howie-in-the-Hills, Fla., and her husband, Joseph Ouellette, and Trudie Baker of West Danville, Vt., and her husband, Jack Baker; brother, Loring of Lexington; sisters, Gertrude Batchelder of East Dennis and Priscilla Tyning of Lawrence; sister-in-law, Helen "Nellie" Batchelder of Andover; one granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at West Parish Church.
Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery.
