Joseph George St. Jean, 83, of Andover died Monday, Jan. 10, at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mr. St. Jean was born in Lowell. He attended Andover public schools.
Mr. St. Jean served in the Army during World War II.
He was the preparator at Addison Gallery of American Art at Phillips Academy for 22 years.
Mr. St. Jean was a member of American Legion Post 8.
Members of his family include his wife, Edith (Valentine) St. Jean of Andover; son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Martha St. Jean of Hampstead, N.H.; daughters, Pamela Muller of Andover and her husband, James Muller, and Nancy Vondell of Northampton; brother, Rene St. Jean of Andover; sisters, Jeanette Campbell of Dracut and Evan Kennedy of Hampstead, N.H.; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were private.
Arrangements were by Burke Funeral Home.

Wilna E. Limpert

Wilna E. (Gillespie) Limpert died Sunday, Jan. 9, after a brief illness.
Mrs. Limpert was born in Ralls, Texas, and grew up in Albuquerque, N.M. She graduated Phi Beta Kappa from the University of New Mexico in 1942.
Mrs. Limpert had been a resident of La Jolla, Calif. for more than 40 years before she moved to Andover in 1994.
She was a lifelong Christian Scientist and a member of the Andover Christian Science Church.
Members of her family include her daughter and son-in-law, Jancy Limpert and Bennett Whitestone of Redwood City, Calif.; son and daughter-in-law, Stan and Mary Ann Limpert of North Andover; and two grandchildren.
She was the widow of Dan C. Limpert.
Arrangements were by J.S. Waterman and Sons - Waring Funeral Home in Wellesley.

Francis E. Rees

Francis E. Rees Sr., 95, of Salem, N.H., died Thursday, Jan. 6, at Salemhaven Nursing Home.
The former Andover resident was born in Cambridge and lived locally for the past 74 years.
He worked at American Woolen Co. and retired from Raytheon Co.
Members of his family include his wife of 61 years, Irene L. (Comeau) Rees of Salem, N.H.; daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and Walter "Rusty" Anderson of Timonium, Md.; son and daughter-in-law, Francis E. and Jean Rees Jr. of Salem, N.H.; sisters, Ermine Dinan of Reading and Thelma Garden of Wilmington; brothers, Colin Rees of Saugus and Charles Rees of Sacramento, Calif.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass was said Monday in Sacred Heart Church. Burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Racicot Funeral Home in Lawrence.
Roy R. Farr

Roy R. Farr, 69, of Jupiter, Fla., died Saturday, Jan. 15, at home.
Mr. Farr was born in Stoneham.
The former Andover resident was a tomato farmer who built greenhouses before he founded his development company. His company built residential complexes, including Farrwood and Heritage Green in North Andover and Farrwood Green Condominiums in the Bradford section of Haverhill.
Mr. Farr moved to Florida 18 years ago and established the C. Farr Ranch and Grove, where he raised beef cattle and grew citrus.
The Air Force veteran enjoyed gliding and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Members of his family include his wife, Charlene (Green) Farr of Jupiter; sons and daughters-in-law, Sean and Christine Farr of Granville, Vt., and David and Dana Porter of Chester Springs, Pa.; daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Glenn Williams and Nancy and Joseph Fiorenza, all of Okeechobee, Fla., Debbie and Glen Rowell of Bradford, and Erin and Nicholas Pathiakis of California; brothers, Arthur Farr of Oregon and George Farr of North Andover; sister, Theo Hebenton of Tewksbury; 13 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home in North Andover. Funeral services were private.
Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery in Greenville, Vt.

Samuel J. Jackson

Samuel John "Jack" Jackson, 58, died Saturday, Jan. 8.
The gourmet chef and caterer was born and educated in Andover.
He was a member of the Appalachian Mountain Club, National Audubon Society and other associations.
He was a devoted Christian.
Members of his family include his son, J. Russell Jackson; daughters, Laura E. Quinlan, Judith A. Olisky, and Shelley Jillson; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was held Saturday at First Calvary Baptist Church in North Andover.
Alexandra L'Heureux

Alexandra L'Heureux, 6, of Aliso Viejo, Calif., formerly of Devonshire Place, died suddenly Monday, Jan. 10, at home. She would have been 7 years old on Jan. 30.
Alexandra was a student at LLL Preschool and at Sanborn Elementary School before she moved to California with her parents, Steven and Cathy L'Heureux, in June.

Mary C. (Flaherty) Dunn, 91, of Washington Park Drive died Friday, Jan. 14, at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mrs. Dunn was born in Boston.
The nursing school graduate worked as a private nurse. Later she was a telephone operator for New England Telephone Co. in Stoneham and Arlington.
Mrs. Dunn was a member of St. Augustine Church.
Members of her family include her daughter, Carol Meiselman of Boston; son, John Holohan of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was the widow of David J. Holohan, Joseph Goodman and Edward F. Dunn.
A funeral Mass was said Monday at St. Augustine Church. Burial was in Puritan Lawn Cemetery in Peabody.
Arrangements were by Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home.
