Conrad J. Nollet, 79, of Andover, died Saturday, July 1 at Holy Family Hospital.
Mr. Nollet was born in Lawrence and educated at Essex Agricultural School in Danvers. Mr. Nollet worked at Malden Mills in Lawrence as a welder.
He served in the Navy during World War II.
Members of his family include his wife, Irene E. (Hennessy) Nollet; a daughter, Judy, and her husband Kenneth Hoover of Boxford; a son, Michael and his wife, Kathy Nollet of Littleton; four sisters, Marcelle Gauvin and Loretta Nollet, both of Lawrence, Theresa McNally of Atkinson, N.H., and Lucille Sweatman of Littleton, Colo.; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by Breen Funeral Home, 35 Merrimack St., North Andover.

Mildred M. Krauss

Mildred M. Krauss, of Beacon Street, died Thursday, June 29 at Holy Family Hospital.
Mrs. Krauss worked for the U.S. government with the U.S. Air Force.
While living in Greater Lawrence, she worked at A.B. Sutherland and Macartney's stores.
She was born in Myra, Texas, and moved to Oklahoma as a young girl.
She was a longtime member of the United Presbyterian Church in Lawrence and belonged to the church's Women's Society. She was a member of Lawrence Garden Club and the board of trustees of the German Home.
Members of her family include her husband of 54 years, Herbert H. Krauss; a daughter, Lynn Cartwright of Litchfield, N.H.; a granddaughter; four nieces and several grandnieces.

Constance M. Spatola

Constance M. (Santagati) Spatola, 80, of Andover, died Saturday, July 1 at Lawrence General Hospital.
She was born in Methuen and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was retired from the Internal Revenue Service where she worked as a tax examiner.
Members of her family include her husband of 56 years Alfred A. Spatola; a son, Kenneth and wife Geraldine Spatola of Amesbury; a daughter, Sharyn S. and husband William Weidlein of Andover; a brother, Anthony Santagati of Methuen; a sister, Sandra Gioia of Methuen; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Charles Santagati, Joseph Santagati and Catherine DiGrazia.

Martha Evelyn Bernard Currie

Martha Evelyn Bernard Currie, 89, of North Andover, died Saturday, July 1 at Prescott Nursing Home.
She was born in Sharon, Pa., and graduated from Allegheny College in Allegheny, Pa., in 1932. She taught high school English.
Mrs. Currie lived in Essex Fells, N.J., where she raised her family and was active in the Girl Scouts of America. She was an avid antique collector and had a special interest in miniatures. Her interest in reading led to researching and cataloging old books. In later years, she was a member of the Pinellas County Art Guild in Treasure Island, Fla.
She was the widow of James Ernest Currie of St. Petersburg Beach, Fla. and formerly of Walpole, N.H. Members of her family include two sons, David Currie and his wife Martha of Doylestown, Penn. and Joel Currie of St. Petersburg; a daughter, Camille Wilkins and her husband, Skip, of Andover; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A service of Christian Memorial will be held Friday, July 14 at 4 p.m. at South Church.

Valerie Buckley

Valerie (Piekos) Buckley, 93, died Sunday, July 2 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
She was born in Lowell, and was a resident of Andover since the 1930s.
She worked as a crossing guard for the Town of Andover for many years.
She was a longtime member of the Ballardvale United Church of Andover.
Ms. Buckley was a member and past Worthy Matron of the Andover Chapter of the Eastern Star. She was the wife of the late Lionel F. Buckley.
Members of her family include her son, Frederick H., and his wife, Sonia Buckley of Andover; a sister, Katherine Quinn of Florida; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

William P. Gens

William P. Gens, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died Sunday, June 25 after a short illness. He lived in Andover, attended Andover schools and graduated from Central Catholic High School.
Family members include his brother, Hal Gens, who resides in Largo, Fla.
Irene H. Dantos

Irene H. (Hedges) Dantos, 86, of Chelmsford and formerly of Andover, died Saturday, July 8, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home.
Born in Lowell and educated in Brockton, Ms. Dantos was a member of Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Andover, and was past president of its Philoptochos Society (Myrofori). She was also past worthy matron of the Order of the Eastern Star in Andover.
Ms. Dantos was a 4-H Club leader and enjoyed golfing.
She was the widow of Peter H. Dantos.
Members of her family include her daughters, Cynthia C. and husband George Chamberas of Salem, and Thea P. Karamourtopoulos of Atkinson, N.H.; son, Paul P. and wife Merry of Spokane, Wash.; sister, Cleo Terzis of Brighton; seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held yesterday, Wednesday, in Saints Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church. Burial followed in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.

David C. Parsons

David C. Parsons, 72, of Londonderry, N.H., and formerly of Atkinson, N.H., died Monday, July 10 at Terrace Healthcare in Nashua, N.H.
Born in Buffalo and educated in Tonawanda, N.Y., Mr. Parsons worked as a welding engineer for Union Carbide Co. in Tonawanda, where he was also a volunteer firefighter. More recently he worked at Process Engineering/Chart Industries of Plaistow, N.H., retiring in 1993.
Mr. Parsons served in the Navy during World War II.
He was a member of Andover Bible Chapel and the American Welding Society.
He enjoyed working with stained glass, photography, and participating in Civil War re-enactments.
Members of his family include his wife, Christine (Winspear) Parsons; sons Philip Parsons of Manila, Philippines, Larry Parsons of Frisco, Texas, and Kevin Parsons of Hudson; his father, Charles Parsons of Waynesburg, Pa.; brother, Paul Parsons of Waynesburg; sister, Bernice Holmes of Tempe, Ariz.; nine grandchildren; and several nephews.
Calling hours were scheduled for yesterday, Wednesday, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Peabody Funeral Home, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry.
Funeral services will be today, Thursday, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home, with burial in the N.H. State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, N.H.
