Marian Westgate Radack died Friday, June 23 at the Presbyterian Home in Titusville, Pa.
She was born in Titusville. She spent winters from 1978 to 1993 with her daughter and son-in-law, Cynthia Radack Madden and Joseph Paul Madden in Andover.
In addition, she is survived by a granddaughter, Elizabeth, of Andover; a grandson, Christopher; and a great-granddaughter, Nichole Amy Madden, of Santa Barbara, Calif.
A granddaughter, Amy Westgate Madden, preceded her in death.
Joseph R. Carrier

Joseph R. Carrier, 72, of Andover, died Monday, July 10 at the Lahey Hitchcock Clinic in Burlington.
Born in Lawrence, Mr. Carrier graduated from Lawrence High School and worked as a buyer for Textron until retiring in 1988.
A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a member of both the Andover Senior Center and Chieftains Drum Corp. in Lawrence.
The husband of Rita (Groleau) Carrier of Andover, he leaves sons George R. of North Andover and Peter of Lawrence; daughters Debra M. Ives and husband Stephen of New Boston, N.H., Pamela J. Fahrenkopf and husband David of Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Mylene S. Bundzinski and husband Christopher of Londonderry, N.H., and Jesse E. Sheaffer and husband Richard of Shady Side, Md.; brothers George of Seabrook, N.H., Jean of Derry, N.H., and L. Frank of Pelham, N.H.; sister Reina Bisson of Salem, N.H.; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to a funeral service today, Thursday, July 13 at 11 a.m. at Burke Funeral Home, 390 N. Main St., Andover.

Herman J. Borgsteede

Herman J. Borgsteede, 68, of Niceville, Fla., formerly of Andover, died Sunday, July 9, after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Borgsteede was born in Amsterdam, Holland, and emigrated to the United States in 1957.
Members of his family include his wife, Sheila Borgsteede; the mother of his children, Berendina Dixon of Milford, N.H.; a daughter, Frances Sanderson and her husband, Alan, of Hill, N.H.; three sons, Mark Borgsteede and wife, Lisa, of Sumter, S.C.; Dale Borgsteede and his wife, Diane, of Navarre, Fla., and Hank Borgsteede and his wife, Leslie, of Benton, La.; a stepson, Stephen Holt; a stepdaughter, Debbie Vigneault, both of Massachusetts; a sister, Miep Bergkamp; a brother, Frans Borgsteede, both of Amsterdam; seven grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.

Ann E. 'Elsie' Green

Ann Elizabeth "Elsie" Green, 98, of White River Junction, Vt., and formerly of Andover and Methuen, died Friday, July 14.
Mrs. Green owned and operated a gas station with her late husband, Thomas Green, in Andover until 1952.
Members of her family include her sister, Evelyn Anton of Andover.

Robert J. Collier

Robert J. Collier, 76, of Haverhill, died Friday, July 14 at Hale Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Collier was a math teacher in the Andover school system and a guidance counselor for the Andover Junior-Senior High School for nine years. He also coached basketball and baseball.
He was an avid Yankees fan and 45's player.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Okinawa from 1944 to 1946. While there, he coached the Okinawa All Star Basketball Team, which participated in the Pacific Olympics.
Mr. Collier received a bachelor of science degree from Cortland State Teachers College, where he set the school record for the mile. He also received a master's degree in administration of Boston College and took additional graduate courses at Syracuse University and the University of South Carolina.
He later worked for the Pentucket Regional, Danbury, Conn., and Belmont school systems prior to retiring from education in 1979.
After retiring, he worked for the Combined Insurance Co.
Members of his family include his wife Teresa (Angelotti) Collier; two daughters, Constance, and her husband, Alexander Halks, of Andover, and Kathleen and her husband, Stephen Lovell, of Bridgewater; a brother, Dr. Richard Collier of Florida; seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Lionel W. Boulanger

Lionel W. Boulanger, 81, of Andover, died Wednesday, July 12 at home after a brief illness.
Born in St. Norbert, Quebec, and raised and educated in Lawrence, Mr. Boulanger worked at Tyer Rubber Co. for 32 years, retiring in 1977.
Mr. Boulanger served in the Army during World War II, recieving a Purple Heart for his service in Sienna, Italy. A charter member of the National Disabled American Veterans, he loved to paint portraits and landscapes, and enjoyed woodworking and reading.
Members of his family include his wife of 58 years, Anne P. (Price) Boulanger; daughter Jacqueline and her husband John Atkinson of Litchfield, N.H.; a brother, Henry Boulanger of Manchester, N.H.; a sister, Georgette Carter of Hartwell, Ga.; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Philip B. Holmes Jr.

Philip B. Holmes Jr., 64, of Chester, N.H. and St. Augustine, Fla., died Sunday, July 16 in St. Augustine.
Mr. Holmes was an attorney for the Manchester Federal Savings Bank and also served as assistant vice president.
Born in Orange, N.J., he graduated from Punchard High School in Andover in 1954, and from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 1959.
Mr. Holmes served in the Army as a first lieutenant in Germany.
He graduated from Suffolk Law School in 1966 and was admitted into the New Hampshire Bar in 1966. He was a member of the Manchester and New Hampshire Bar Association.
He was past director of the Manchester Animal Rescue League and a member of the advisory board of Mount St. Mary's College in Hooksett, N.H. He was also an instructor for the Merrimack Valley branch of the University of New Hampshire, the American Institute of Banking, and White Pines College, Chester.
Mr. Holmes served as officer of the Amoskeag Savings Bank and had also served as assistant secretary. He was a member of the Calvary Bible Church in Derry, N.H., and also attended the Independent Bible Church in St. Augustine. He was a member of Gideons International.
Members of his family include his wife of 38 years, Marlene (Hurst) Holmes; daughters Jean Holmes Clement and her husband Dale of Hooksett, and Jennifer Holmes Minton and her husband Bruce of Francestown, N.H.; a granddaughter; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be Sunday, July 23 at 2 p.m. at Calvary Bible Church in Derry. Private burial will be in Great Hill Cemetery, Chester.

Gertrude M. Wilson

Gertrude M. (Rondeau) Wilson, 84, of Andover, died Wednesday, July 19 at Willow Manor Nursing Home in Lowell.
She was born in Canada and moved to this country as a child.
Mrs. Wilson was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Mary Church in Lawrence.
She was the widow of Fredrick Wilson.
Members of her family include three sons, Frank Wilson Jr. of Lawrence, Michael Wilson and his wife, Anne, and Robert Wilson and his wife, Patricia, all of Londonderry, N.H.; a daughter, Carol Wilson of New York; sisters, Claire Rondeau of Lawrence and Jeanette Boie of Connecticut; nine grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Arrangements were by the Hart-Wallace Funeral Home, 107 S. Broadway, Lawrence.
