Christina L. Easton, 81, of Walnut Avenue, died Wednesday, Aug. 9 at the Wingate at Andover.
Miss Easton worked at Andover National Bank and its successors for 37 years as a note teller and collateral custodian.
Born and educated in Gillespie, Ill., she moved to Andover in 1941. She attended Free Christian Church.
Members of her family include two sisters, Susan Easton, and Janette Easton, both of Andover; several cousins; and many close friends.
Arrangements were by the Dewhirst & Conte Funeral Home, 28 Florence St., Andover.

Bartley J. Miller

Bartley J. Miller, 67, of Londonderry, N.H. and formerly of Andover, died Tuesday, Aug. 8 at home.
Mr. Miller was a custodian in the Salem school system before he retired last summer.
Born in Lawrence, he attended Andover schools and Punchard High. He moved to Londonderry five years ago from Andover.
Mr. Miller served in the Army Medical Corps.
He was a longtime volunteer at the VA Medical Center in Manchester, N.H.
Members of his family include a son, Brian J. Miller, of Plaistow, N.H.; a daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Charles Booth of Derry, N.H.; a brother, William Miller, of Andover; and one grandson.

Robert G. McAnern

Robert G. McAnern, 89, of Andover, died Monday, Aug. 14 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.
Mr. McAnern worked at New England Telephone Co., retiring as treasurer in 1976.
Born and educated in Somerville, he graduated from Bentley College in 1931.
He was past president of the Boston Chapter of Financial Executives Institute. He also served as vice chairman of the board of trustees at Bentley College and retired as trustee emeritus.
Members of his family include his wife of 64 years, Muriel P. (Hawkes) McAnern; sons Richard G. and his wife Margaret McAnern, and Donald M. McAnern, all of Andover, and David G. and his wife Karen McAnern, of Natick; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Marjorie Harrison

Marjorie (Alexander) Harrison, 77, of Essex Meadows, Conn. and formerly of Andover, died Thursday, Aug. 17 in Hyannis.
She was born in Hartford, Conn. and and was a graduate of Connecticut College, Class of 1944.
Ms. Harrison lived in Andover for 31 years, teaching and coaching at Phillips Academy. She moved to Little Compton, R.I., where she lived for 11 years before moving to Essex Meadows in 1994.
She was the wife of the late Fred H. Harrison.
Members of her family include three daughters, Elizabeth H. Hadley of Chevy Chase, Md., Nancy Bliss of Ridgefield, Conn., and Marjorie Fleming of Princeton, N.J.; a sister, Elizabeth A. Hanson of Rocky Hill, Conn.; and five grandchildren.
A memorial service was planned for today, Thursday, Aug. 24 at 11 a.m. at St. John's Episcopal Church, Main Street, Essex, Conn. A private burial was to be held in Andover.

Mary R. Campione

Mary R. (DiBenedetto) Campione, 85, of Andover, died Tuesday, Aug. 15 at Mariner Health of Methuen.
Ms. Campione owned and operated Cleaner-Way Cleaners, a dry-cleaning company, for 25 years before retiring in 1972.
She was born and educated in Lawrence. She attended Holy Rosary Church of Lawrence.
She was the widow of Anthony Campione. Members of her family include her daughter and son-in-law, Jean C. and John T. Franz, of Andover; sisters Ann Scalera of Methuen, and Nancy DiBenedetto of Lawrence; brothers, James DiBenedetto, and Joseph DiBenedetto, both of Lawrence; two grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were by the Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen.

Richard B. Chesley Sr.

Richard Booker Chesley Sr., 88, formerly of Reading and Centerville, died Thursday, Aug. 17 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Malden and educated in Reading, Mr. Chesley graduated from the School of Business Administration at Northeastern University in Boston.
He worked for 50 years in the jewelry business, starting in 1934 with Bigelow Kennard and retiring in 1984 from Long's Jewelers, where he had served as president.
Mr. Chesley served as president of Boston Jewelers' Club, director of the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Crossing, and trustee of the former Charlestown Five Cents Savings Bank. He was a member of the Northeastern University Council and Golden Graduate Society. He was an active speaker, lecturing on gems and gemology in Greater Boston, and wrote television advertisements for Long's Jewelers.
He attended First Congregational Church in Reading, where he served as a deacon. He was an active Freemason for 50 years at Good Samaritan Lodge of Reading and Fraternal Lodge of Centerville. He was also a member of Orient Chapter of Royal Arch and Cape Cod Commandery, and was a 32nd Degree Scottish Rite Mason in the Valley of Boston.
Members of his family include his wife of 62 years, Charlotte (Currier) Chesley; daughters, Linda Nordberg of Harvard and Cynthia Margenau of Jim Thorpe, Pa.; sons, Richard Chesley Jr. of Hampstead, N.H., and Philip Chesley of North Reading; a sister, Constance Ireland of Opa-Locka, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Carole A. Walker

Carole A. (Valentine) Walker, 63, of Andover, died Wednesday, Aug. 16 at home, after a long battle with breast cancer.
Ms. Walker owned Custom Landscaping by Carole Walker in Andover for more than 20 years.
Born in Lawrence, she graduated from Punchard High School.
She received her undergraduate degree in business administration in Iowa, and received a degree in horticulture from Essex Agricultural Technical Institute in Danvers.
An avid ballroom dancer, she and her husband belonged to the Massachusetts and New Hampshire Amateur Ballroom Dancing associations. They traveled throughout New England and into the Midwest for dances.
Ms. Walker also enjoyed golfing and was a past member of the Andover Country Club. She was a past treasurer of the Middlesex Boxer Club for dogs.
She also volunteered her time to help other patients suffering from breast cancer.
Members of her family include her husband of 45 years, Harry L. Walker; daughter and son-in-law, Leigh A. and Leonard G. Joiner of Methuen; and three grandchildren.
There were no calling hours and burial was private.
