William Hart, 91, of Andover, died Monday, Aug. 14.
Mr. Hart worked at Western Electric for several years. He was born and educated in Lawrence.
During World War II, Mr. Hart served in the Army.
He was a member of St. Augustine Church.
Members of his family include two nieces, Virginia Hart Brady, and Claire Hart Russo, both of Florida; four nephews, Bishop Daniel A. Hart of Connecticut, William R. Hart and Leo A. Hart, both of New Hampshire, and Paul Hart of Massachusetts; a grandniece, Kathleen L. Temple, and grandnephews, Robert T. Stevenson III, and James D. Stevenson, all of Peoria, Ill.

Ella A. Cederberg

Ella A. Cederberg, 85, of Andover, died Wednesday, Aug. 16 at Wingate at Andover.
Ms. Cederberg was a bookkeeper in the Lawrence area for more than 50 years until retiring from Malden Mills in 1985.
She was born in Concord, N.H., and graduated from Punchard High School in Andover in 1933. She was a member of South Congregational Church in South Lawrence.
Members of her family include her brother, John Cederberg of Glendale, Calif.; a sister, Dorothy C. Daly of Andover; two nieces; and two nephews.
There were no calling hours and services were private.

Beryl J. Tsepas

Beryl J. (Biddle) Tsepas, 79, of Williamson, N.Y., and formerly of Andover, died Friday, Aug. 18 at home.
Ms. Tsepas was born in Coventry, U.K.
She was the widow of James Tsepas Sr.
Members of her family include five children: James Tsepas Jr. and his wife, Jean, of Williamson, N.Y.; Victoria Gibson, also of Williamson; Thomas Tsepas and his wife Paula of Hampstead, N.H.; Willa Hamilton and her husband Robert of Crestwood, Ky., and Tina Glidden of Brockton; 10 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; a sister, Audrey Evans of England; and one nephew.
A funeral service will be held today, Thursday, Aug. 24, at 11 a.m. at Burke Funeral Home, 390 North Main St., Andover.
Burial will be in West Parish Garden Cemetery.
Christine C. Forsythe

Christine C. (Burns) Forsythe, 88, a lifelong resident of Andover, died Friday, Aug. 25 at Lawrence General Hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Forsythe was a benefactor of Andover Village Improvement Society, donating land to create Burns Reservation in the Ballardvale section of town.
After receiving a degree in physiotherapy from Nissen School of Physical Education, Mrs. Forsythe worked for many years at the Merrimack Valley Cerebral Palsy Clinic in Lawrence. She also volunteered at Andover Thrift Shop at Christ Church, where she was an active member.
She enjoyed spending time and lunching with friends and family, dancing, camping in the White Mountains and traveling.
She was the widow of George Forsythe.
Members of her family include two daughters, Carol J. Brown of California and Barbara J. Smith of Andover; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Katherine M. Quinn

Katherine M. (Piekos) Quinn, 97, a longtime Ballardvale resident, died Sunday, Aug. 27 at the Broward Nursing and Rehabilitation Home in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Mrs. Quinn had lived on River Street in Ballardvale until she recently moved to Florida to be with her family. She attended St. Augustine Church and was an active member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary.
As past president and member, she participated in the various activities and patriotic programs they sponsored and was a faithful marcher in the local parades.
She enjoyed doing for and helping others, her family said.
She was the widow of Peter D. Quinn.
Members of her family include two daughters, Norma Walsh of Ocala, Fla., and Linda Garabedian of Pompano Beach, Fla.; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother of the late Richard Quinn.

Andrea Starr Lederfine

Andrea Starr Lederfine, 44, of Andover, died Wednesday, Aug. 30 at home after a long battle with cancer.
Born in Harvey, Ill., she graduated from Cornell Law School and the University of Rochester. She had practiced with the firm of Peabody and Brown and later worked for Boston Financial and Paine Webber.
She stopped practicing law to raise her four children, who range in age from 7 to 13.
Ms. Lederfine became very active in many community activities in Andover. These included fundraising efforts for local playgrounds, editing the newspaper for the Mother Connection, and serving as chairwoman of the board of LLL Preschool. More recently, she was involved with and received awards from the Girl Scouts, Andover Youth Services, and a local breast cancer awareness group.
She served on the board of directors for A Better Chance program of Andover and recently received the president's award from the group.
Members of her family include her husband, Dr. Steven W. Paskal; children, Samantha, Benjamin, Theodore, and Margaret Lederfine Paskal, all of Andover; her father, Joseph Lederfine of Florida; two sisters, Sharon Rubenstein and Iris Pordes, both of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Sunday, Sept. 10 at 2 p.m. at Christ Church, 41 Central St.

James J. Walsh

James J. Walsh, 90, formerly of Andover, died Sunday, Sept. 3 at the Meadows Nursing Home in North Andover.
Born and educated in Lawrence, he operated Common Street Garage and workd at Star Electric Co. He was retired from Raytheon Co. of Andover, where he was an inventory specialist.
He attended St. Patrick Church in Lawrence and had been a member of the Andover Country Club and Lawrence Kiwanis Club. He enjoyed golfing and wintering in Florida.
Mr. Walsh was active with the Allan B. Rogers Memorial Golf Tournaments for many years, serving as scorekeeper.
Members of his family include his wife of 61 years, Edith (Bain) Walsh of Andover; sisters, Helen Fournier of Haverhill and Sister Mary Walsh of New York; two nieces; and several grandnieces and grandnephews.

Bronislaw Majauckas

Bronislaw "Brony Marcus" Majauckas, 88, of Lawrence, died Saturday, Sept. 2, at home.
He was born in Boston and raised in Andover. He attended Punchard High School. He was a Civil Service employee and had worked at several military bases throughout the country.
Members of his family include his wife of 63 years, Martha (Campbell) Majauckas, a daughter, Jacquelyn Urcinas, both of Lawrence; a son, Brony Majauckus and his wife, Gail, of West Newbury; a brother, Lloyd Marcus of Syracuse, N.Y.; a sister, Stephanie Bement of Wallingford, Conn.; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
