John F. Marascia, 54, of Andover, died Tuesday, Jan. 30.
He was born in Medford and lived in Andover for the past 26 years.
He graduated from Winchester High School and received his degree in business administration from New Hampshire College.
Members of his family include his wife, Elizabeth (Ferrari) Marascia; a son, Matthew J. Marascia, both of Andover; his mother, Ruth (Sullivan) Marascia; and his parents-in-law, Charles and Elizabeth (Medugno) Ferrari of Medford.

Dorothy Belanger

Dorothy (Blair) Belanger, 70, of Londonderry, N.H., and formerly of Andover, died Wednesday, Jan. 31 at Parkland Medical Center in Derry.
Born in Pascagoula, Miss., she lived in Londonderry for the last 25 years, and formerly lived in Andover.
Mrs. Belanger was a member of St. Mark's Church in Londonderry.
Members of her family include her husband of 53 years, Rene J. Belanger; sons, Rene J. Jr. and his wife Laurie Belanger, David, and Michael Belanger, all of Londonderry, John and his wife Susan Belanger of Bartlett, N.H., and Scott and his wife Mary Beth Belanger of Marion, Ill.; daughters, Elizabeth Kaufmann of Harrison Township, Mich., Kathleen and her husband, Joseph Anzalone of Kingston, N.H., Mary and her husband Steve Roukey of Manchester, N.H. and Dorothy and her husband Jay Williams of Londonderry; a sister, Lillian Love of Britt, Iowa; 32 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and stepfather, Elton Norris of Pensacola, Fla.
There were no calling hours and cremation was under the direction of Southern New Hampshire Crematory, Derry, N.H.

Alexander Renny

Alexander Renny, 80, of Andover, died Tuesday, Jan. 30 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born in Scotland, he moved to Andover as an infant. He attended Andover schools and Punchard High School.
Mr. Renny entered the Army Air Corps in 1942 and was a maintenance technician during World War II. He served in the Headquarters Squadron Seventh Fighter Wing.
He received the Asiatic Pacific Theater Campaign Ribbon, American Theater Campaign Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal and Victory Medal. He was discharged as a sergeant in 1946.
He completed a printing apprenticeship with the Andover Townsman, and then briefly worked for the Lawrence Eagle-Tribune. Mr. Renny was a compositor at the Lowell Sun before retiring in 1985 after 37 years.
As a younger man, he was an auxiliary policeman in Andover. An avid bowler, he belonged to a league in Lawrence for 25 years.
Members of his family include his wife of 55 years, Edith A. (Bouchard) Renny; a son and daughter-in-law, Alan W. and Therese Renny of Salem, N.H.; daughters and sons-in-law, Pamela A. and Robert Read of Moultonborough, N.H., and Karen E. and Scott Craig of Haverhill's Bradford section; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Geraldine Olive Blake

Geraldine Olive Blake, 93, of Andover, died Monday, Feb. 12 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Mrs. Blake was born and educated in Wollaston. She attended Bryant & Stratton Secretarial School and worked for many years for International Paper in Boston. In later years, she was a medical secretary for Isham Hospital at Phillips Academy until she retired.
She was a member of South Church in Andover for 62 years. Until recently she was active in the Andover Senior Center where she enjoyed line dancing. Mrs. Blake also volunteered at the Doherty Middle School Media Center.
She was the widow of Winston A. Blake.
Members of her family include her daughter, Carolyn and husband Burton D. Reed of Whitestone, Va.; son, Winston A. Blake Jr. and wife June of Andover; sisters, Ruth Osberg of Chelmsford; Margery Roffey of Bridgewater; a brother, Arthur Olive of Weymouth; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren. She was also the sister of the late Esther Durning of Plympton.
A memorial service will be held at South Church, on Saturday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m.

Marie Rabbito

Marie (McGowan) Rabbito, 45, of North Reading and formerly of Andover, died Sunday, Feb. 11 at home.
Mrs. Rabbito worked for the Social Security Administration for 25 years and worked at the Teleservice Center, Malden district office, later transferring to the Lawrence district office, where she worked for 19 years.
Born in Charlestown, she graduated from St. Mary Annunciation High School in Cambridge and Bay State College in Boston.
Members of her family include her husband of 21 years, Stephen J. Rabbito; mother, Mary (Hurley) McGowan of Charlestown; brothers, Philip G. of Waltham, Daniel M. of Acton, Richard P. of Weymouth; sisters, Elizabeth A. O'Leary of Melrose and Jacqueline M. McGowan of Charlestown; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Emery N. Wescott

Emery N. Wescott, 85, of Andover, died Sunday, Feb. 11 at MI Nursing and Restorative Center in Lawrence.
For his entire career, Mr. Wescott was a chemical engineer for Monsanto Chemical Co. of Everett.
He retired in 1970 as head of their library, where he was responsible for computerizing the library. During World War II, Mr. Wescott was sent to Monsanto's Texas TNT plant.
Born and educated in Portland, Maine, he graduated from Deering High School in Portland in 1933. He graduated in 1937 from the University of Maine with a degree in chemical engineering.
He lived in Andover since 1947, and was a member of South Church and was active with the Andover Boosters Club.
He was the widower of Barbara (Harlow) Wescott. Members of his family include sons and daughters-in-law, Donald H. and Jacqueline Wescott of Richmond, Robert E. and Gretchen Wescott of Andover, and Gerald R. and Deborah of Jacksonville, Fla.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two nephews; and a niece.
There were no calling hours. A graveside service will be announced.

Antoinette M. Garneau

Antoinette M. (Rondeau) Garneau, 90, formerly of Lawrence, died Friday, Feb. 9 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Born in Lawrence, Mrs. Garneau worked at Pacific Mills and Agawam Dye Works.
Mrs. Garneau was a member of St. Theresa Church of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Lawrence, Ladies of St. Anne Sodality and the Third Order of Mary. She was active with the Cub Scouts at the former St. Anne Parish, and volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
She was the widow of Joseph J. Garneau.
Members of her family include her daughter, Priscilla, and her husband, Joseph Bassett, of Serento, Fla.; son, Louis J. and his wife, Loretta Garneua of Methuen; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Abraham I. Baker

Abraham I. Baker, 86, of Boca Raton, Fla. and formerly of North Andover and Lawrence, died Sunday, Feb. 11.
Mr. Baker lived in Lawrence for 50 years, in North Andover for 10 years, and moved to Florida 20 years ago.
He was born in New York City and graduated from Lawrence High School. He attended Boston University.
Mr. Baker owned Baker Furniture Co. in Lawrence and also Simmonds Upholstery Factory in the Acadia Mills for 25 years. In 1965, he founded Fugazzi Travel and retired from there 20 years ago.
He was a member of Temple Emanuel of Andover, Knights of Pythias, Jewish Community Center and Congregation Tifereth Anshai Sfard.
Members of his family include his wife, Gertrude (Kimell); two daughters, Elayne and her husband, Larry Smith, of Delray Beach, Fla., and Carolynn and her husband, Rabbi Sanford Jarashow, of Boca Raton, Fla.; a son, Michael Baker of Silver Spring, Md.; a brother, Milton Baker; eight grandchildren, including Jeffrey and Joel Smith and Lisa Dunn, all of Andover; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were held yesterday, Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Temple Emanuel, 7 Haggetts Pond Road.
