Ruth E. (Erbe) Cousins, 92, of Andover, died Thursday, March 22 at Lawrence General Hospital.
Born and educated in Waltham, Mrs. Cousins graduated from Chandler Business School in Boston. For 30 years she worked in the accounting office at Waltham Hospital.
Mrs. Cousins was a member of the Sunshine Club of Littleton Baptist Church and Waltham Women's Club. She was active with events and fundraisers for several area charities.
She was the widow of A. Raymond Cousins, and members of her family include her daughter, Barbara Calandrello of Andover; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one nephew.

Frank M. Pierro Jr.

Frank M. Pierro Jr., 42, of Andover, died Thursday, March 22 at Saints Memorial Hospital in Lowell.
Born in Lawrence and educated in Andover, Mr. Pierro attended University of Massachusetts-Lowell. He worked as a property manager at Raytheon in Tewksbury since 1978.
Mr. Pierro was a member of St. Robert Bellarmine Parish. A Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, he coached in Andover Little League, and served as assistant coach in girls softball and boys basketball in Andover's after-school program.
Members of his family include his wife, Colleen (Dowling) Pierro; son, Frank M. Pierro III of Andover; daughter, Christina M. Pierro of Andover; his parents, Frank M. Sr. and his wife Claire (Grassi) of Andover; sister, Patricia Lanza of Andover; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice A. Poulin

Alice A. (Cyr) Poulin, 82, of Andover, died Wednesday, March 21 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
A lifelong resident of greater Lawrence, Mrs. Poulin was raised and educated in Lawrence. She worked as a lunchroom supervisor in Andover schools for several years, and enjoyed being a homemaker. She lived in Andover for 49 years.
Mrs. Poulin was a parishioner of St. Augustine Parish and was active in the St. Augustine School Guild. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters.
She was the widow of Donald J. Poulin, to whom she was married for 53 years, and family members include her son, Dennis D. and wife Beverly Poulin of Hollis, N.H.; daughter, Sharon Poulin of Andover; brother, Paul H. of Lawrence; sisters, Lucille Lehnert of Andover, Muriel E. Valliere of Lawrence, and Claire Zimmer of Norway, Maine; four grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Francis J. Byrne, 69, of North Andover and formerly of Andover, died Sunday, April 1 at home.
He was born in Lawrence and attended St. Laurence O'Toole Grammar School in Lawrence. He graduated from Central Catholic High School, class of 1949 and the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, Class of 1953.
Mr. Byrne served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He received a master's degree in education from Boston State College and taught at Chelmsford High School prior to a 35-year career as a systems engineer in the aerospace industry.
His community service included the chairmanship of the Andover Finance Committee, the St. Robert Bellarmine Church Parish Council, the Andover Democratic town committee, and the Andover Historical Commission. He was an avid reader and his interests included computers, photography, gardening, and geneaology.
He was the widower of Carolyn (Baker) Byrne.
Members of his family include his daughters and sons-in-law, Maureen and Michael Gottfried of North Andover, Kathleen and Donald Gagnon of Salem, N.H., and Sheila and Matthew Barry of Andover; sons and daughters-in-law, Francis Jr. and Lisa Byrne and Kevin and Carla Byrne, all of Andover; 10 grandchildren; and special friend, Patricia May of California.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated today, Thursday, April 5 at 10 a.m. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, Andover. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence.

Sarkis Krikorian, 79, of Andover, died Sunday, April 1 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Mr. Krikorian owned Sam Krikorian Landscaping.
Born in Bridgewater, he attended Holy Cross Armenian Church in Lawrence.
Members of his family include his daughter, Susan Krikorian of Watertown; sister, Mary Cuticchia of Andover; several nephews; one niece; and longtime companion Leigh Shaw of Methuen.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Burke Funeral Home, 390 N. Main St.
A funeral Mass will be Friday, April 6 at 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church in Lawrence. Burial will be in West Parish Garden Cemetery.

Rita M. (Bourassa) Houghton, 86, formerly of North Andover, died Saturday, March 31 at Academy Manor Nursing Home.
Mrs. Houghton worked as a weaver in Lawrence mills, and was a cook at Three Pines Restaurant in Middleton.
She was the widow of Raymond W. Houghton.
Members of her family include daughters, Jeannette R. Davison and Nancy N. Houghton of North Andover; son, Robert R. and wife Joan Houghton of North Andover; three grandsons; and three step-great-granddaughters.

Muriel E. (Fettes) Fleming, 78, of Pelham, N.H. and formerly of Methuen, died Thursday, March 29 at Holy Family Hospital in Methuen.
Mrs. Fleming was a stitcher at local textile mills before she retired.
Born and educated in Andover, she graduated from Punchard High School.
She was the widow of John J. Fleming.
Members of her family include her son and daughter-in-law, John O. and Della Fleming of Dracut; daughters, Joan E. Murphy of Methuen, Gail E. Fleming and Lynn and her husband Jack Markey, all of Pelham, N.H., and June I. Keith and Lori D. Martin, both of Lawrence; brother, Hank Fettes of Venice, Fla.; sisters, Marion MacLachlan of Pelham, N.H., June McGowan of Tewksbury, Joan Fettes of Atkinson, N.H., Florence Lavoie of Bantam, Conn., and Dorothy Lonardo of Lawrence; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Bernadette A. Ricci

Bernadette A. (Gingras) Ricci, 80, of Newburyport and formerly of Andover, died Sunday, April 1 at Anna Jaques Hospital.
Born in Lawrence, Mrs. Ricci owned and operated several variety stores in that city during the 1950s. She retired from Raytheon Corp. after 30 years of service.
Mrs. Ricci was a member of St. Augustine Church in Andover, and enjoyed walking and swimming. She was one of 21 children.
Members of her family include her husband of 60 years Nicolas J. Ricci; sons and their wives, Nicolas J. Jr. and Beverly Ricci of Methuen, and Arthur J. and Jamie Ricci of Haverhill; daughter, Sharon L. and husband Donald Pattullo of Newburyport; sisters, Rita McClintock, Rose Mikolas and Theresa Gagnon, all of Methuen; brother, Joseph of California; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
