June W. Buchanan
Funeral serviced for June W. (Whelpley) Buchanan, 76, will be held Saturday, Nov. 9, at 10 a.m. at East Congregational Church, 610 Adams St.
She died Nov. 3 at Caritas Norwood Hospital.
Born in Boston, she graduated from Milton High School in 1944 and Boston University in 1948. She lived most of her life in Milton, moving to Walpole four years ago. She taught business and physical education during her 25-year career in the Milton school system.
A longtime member of the Florida and Marjorie Fitzgerald of Milton, and many nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated October 31 at St. Agatha Church. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dolan Funeral Home.

Alice Veronica Daly
Alice Veronica (Ryan) Daly, 85, of Milton, died October 30 at Milton Hospital.
Born in Boston, she lived in Brighton before moving to Milton 22 years ago.
Mrs. Daly worked as a secretary at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Brighton for 10 years retiring in 1975. She also worked as a teller and secretary for First Federal Savings Bank.
She was a volunteer for the Winter Valley Residence for the Elderly and was honored by the Town of Milton for 20 years of service there.
Wife of the late Joseph P. Daly, she is survived by two daughters, Alice R. Daly of Weymouth and Barbara J. Farquhar of Bradford, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated November 4 at St. Elizabeth's Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.

Rita Duncan
Rita (Dempsey) Duncan, 84, of Roslindale, died November 3 at Epoch of Norton Nursing Center.
Born in Boston, she lived in Roslindale for 40 years.
She was a billing clerk at Gilette for 20 years.
Wife of the late Air Force Captain Edward J. Duncan, she is survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces, grandnephews, great-grandnieces and great-grandnephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated November 6 at Sacred Heart Church, Roslindale. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
Donatons may be made to the Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Minnesota.
He served in the U.S. Army from 1940 - 1946 and was a First Lieutenant in the 999th Field Artillery Battalion on active duty in Europe during World War II.
Mr. Locke worked on the ski slopes in Aspen and building boats on Long Island. He was employed for 17 years at the Country Store of Concord.
He was a volunteer at the First Parish Church for over 25 years and served on the Neponset River Watershed Association.
He is survived by his wife, Florence E. (Forbes) Locke; a sister, Susan W. Smith of Carlisle, and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23 at 2 p.m. at the First Parish Church in Milton, Canton Avenue.
Funeral arrangements were made by Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home.

Helen M. MacKenzie
Helen M. (Johnson) MacKenzie, 66, of Quincy, died November 5 at Massachusetts Environmental Protection Department.
He is survived by a brother, Joseph M. Campbell; a sister, Ann Walsh; and nine nieces and nephews and 14 grand nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was held November 15 at St. Mary of the Hills Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dolan Funeral Home.
Donations may be made to The Dominican Sisters, St. Catherines, N.H.
Born and raised in Randolph, he lived in Milton for 40 years before moving to Auburn three years ago.
He was a graduate of Cathedral High School in Boston.
Mr. McSweeney played baseball for a Red Sox AAA farm team, where he was a teammate of Ted Williams. He then joined the Army during World War II, serving in the European Theater.
He was a corrections officer at the New York, she was a 1944 graduate of Pine Manor College.
Mrs. Moran lived in Wollaston for many years and was a member of the Wollaston Golf Club.
She was a parishioner of St. Agatha Church and a member of the Pine Manor College Alumni Association.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph A. Moran Jr. of Wollaston; four sons, Joseph Moran III of Milton, Peter Moran of Scituate, David Moran of Weymouth and John Moran of Middleboro; three daughters, Kathleen Deady of Quincy, Mary Sue Spain of Stoughton, and Jane Dellasandro of Weymouth; a sister, Anne Dawes of Quincy, and 15 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated December 27 at St. Agatha Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
