Kathryn E. Shibley
Kathryn E. (Duggan) Shibley, 82, a lifelong resident of Milton, died June 13 at Milton Hospital.
Born in Milton, she was a graduate of Milton schools.
She was a cafeteria manager for the Milton Public Schools for 29 years, retiring in 1997.
Ms. Shibley was a former member of the Milton Chapter of the Catholic Daughters of America.
Wife of the late Peter Shibley Jr., she is survived by three sons, Peter Shibley III and John Shibley, both of Milton, and Daniel D. Shibley of Quincy; two daughters, Nancy A. Shibley and Jane M. Shibley, both of Milton.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on June 17. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

David B. Andre
David B. Andre, 62, died June 15 after a brief illness.
Born in Boston, he was a resident of Milton for 25 years and a graduate of Milton High School. He was a graduate of Northeastern University and the Banker’s Institute. He received a doctorate from Elizabeth City State University in North Carolina.
He taught Ancient History and Sociology at Elizabeth City State University for 25 years. He was a Charter member of the Phi Alpha Theta Society at the school.
He is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Williams) Andre; two sons, Michael Andre and Damien Andre, both of North Carolina; and his mother Mary M. Andre-Groves of Milton.
A funeral Mass was celebrated June 17 in Plymouth, Iowa; two brothers, Phillip Linskey and Joseph Linskey, both of South Boston; a sister, Helen Mignosa of Florida and Barbara Steinberg of Florida; a brother, Frank Argus of Kingston; eight grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held June 16 at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home. Burial was in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.

Noel C. Keady
Noel C. Keady, 46, of Milton, a carpenter and the owner of Keady Construction, died June 22 at Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
He was born in Athenry, Ireland and came to the United States as a young man. He had lived in Milton for the past 20 years.
Mr. Keady was educated in Ireland.
He is survived by his wife, Mairead M. (Kelly) Keady; a daughter, Stephanie E. Keady of Milton; a son, Noel F. Keady of Milton; his mother, Maureen (Daly) Keady of Ireland; four sisters, Mary Boudreau of Franklin, Annette Jennings of England and Bridget Hannon and Teresa Nevin, both of Ireland; six brothers, Peter Keady of England and Patrick J. Keady, Seamus Keady, Brendan Keady, Bernard Keady and Tony Keady, all of Ireland; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the son of the late James Keady.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on June 27. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Mary Russo
Mary Russo, 97, of Milton, a pianist for the Paporello School of Ballet in Boston, died June 29 at Milton Healthcare Facility.
She was born in Palermo, Italy and came to the United States with her family as a baby. She had lived in Milton for over 75 years.
Miss Russo was educated in the Boston Public School System and graduated from the New England Conservatory of Music in 1927. She taught piano in Milton and Quincy for over 40 years. She was also a late member of the Italian Literary Club in Boston.
She is survived by a sister, Neti D’Angelo of Milton; a nephew, Frank D’Angelo Jr. of Milton; two nieces, Maria D’Angelo Trozzi of Boston and Yarmouth and Paula Margraf of Allentown, PA, and several other nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and grand-nephews. She was the sister of the late Nicholas J. Russo and John C. Russo.
A funeral Mass of was celebrated at Saint Elizabeth Church on July 3. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Margaret Walker
Margaret Walker, 83, formerly of Milton, died Thursday, July 10 in Winchester Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Walker was a homemaker and a member of the East Congregational Church of Milton. Mrs. Walker worked as an election warden at American Legion Auxillary Post 114 of Milton and was a member of the Woman’s Club.
Mrs. Walker lived in Milton for more than 60 years, North Attleboro for over 10 years, and Burlington for the past two years.
Wife of the late Gordon B. Walker Sr., she is survived by two sons, G. Bruce Walker of N. Attleboro and Donald R. Walker of Burlington, and five grandchildren.

In 1967, Mr. Sullivan joined Quincy Cooperative Bank’s board of Directors where he became the chairman of the Board. Mr. Sullivan retired in 1988 after successfully taking the bank public and merging it with the Cooperative Bank of Concord.
Mr. Murphy continued his passion for real estate investment until the time of his death. Mr. Sullivan was a yachtsman and a long time member of the Quincy Neighborhood Club.
Mr. Sullivan was born in Boston and lived there many years. In 1942, at age 19, Mr. Sullivan served as a 2nd lieutenant in the Counter-Intelligence Corp. G-2 under Gen. Douglas MacArthur in Australia during WWII. After the war, Mr. Sullivan graduated from St. Anselm College and Boston College of Social Work.
Mr. Sullivan moved to Milton in 1956.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy T. (Feher) Sullivan; two sons, Ladd R. Sullivan of Los Angeles and Gregory J. Sullivan of Milton; one daughter, Christine D. Sullivan of Milton; two grandaughters, Caroline and Macy Sullivan; three sisters, N. Rita Sullivan, Catherine (Sullivan) Matthews and the late Elizabeth Sullivan.
A funeral Mass was held on July 17 at St. Agatha Church. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Rita D. Condon
Rita D. (Dunn) Condon, 82, of Milton and Falmouth Heights, died July 16 after a short illness.
Mrs. Condon was a volunteer at Milton Hospital for over 30 years. She was a member of the Wollaston Golf Club and the St. Mary of the Hills Ladies Guild.
Wife of the late W. Gleason Condon, she is survived by three daughters, Jane Stebbins of Scituate, Mary-Jo Murphy of Hingham, and Sally English of Milton; three sons, William G. Condon of Hingham, Dr. Denis Condon of Mansfield, and Patrick Condon of Milton; two sisters, Marie Baker of Maryland and Kathryn Yakel of Medfield; 22 grandchildren, and one great-grandson.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Mary of the Hills Church on July 21. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Martin C. Murphy
Martin C. Murphy, 73, of Braintree, died July 6 at his home.
Mr. Murphy worked as vice president and chief engineer for Haley & Aldrich Inc., geotechnical engineers in Charlestown, for 35 years before he retired in 1995. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving as captain in the Marine Corps.
Mr. Murphy was a registered professional engineer, a member of the Boston Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Civil Engineers, a member of the Braintree Knights of Columbus Council and a 4th degree Knight of the Cardinal O’Connel General Assembly of the Knights of Columbus. He was past treasurer and current president of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1951.
He is survived by his wife, Mary A. (Glynn) Murphy of Braintree; a son, Martin C. Murphy Jr. of Conyers, GA; four daughters, Mary Anne Murphy Kenyon of Hanover, Maureen P. Downes of East Sandwich, Margaret Ellen "Meg" Murphy of Braintree, and Monica A. Murphy-Rodgers of Holbrook; four sisters, Arlene Lang and Winifred Wolfe, both of Lynn, Mary O’Brien of Arizona; and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on July 11 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Braintree. Burial was in Blue Hill Cemetery.
