Valerie M. Mitchell
Valerie M. (Tamposki) Mitchell, 65, died on April 11 at Boston Medical Center.
Mrs. Mitchell was a former cook at St. Monica's Rectory in South Boston.
Born in Drifton, PA, she moved to Dorchester as a child and lived there for many years. She graduated from Our Lady of Czestachowa Grammar School and Cardinal Cushing High School. She moved to Braintree seven years ago.
Wife of the late Peter Mitchell, she is survived by a daughter, Linda A. Stratton of Dorchester; three sons, Peter Mitchell of Braintree, John Mitchell of Milton and Dennis Mitchell of Hanson; a sister, Ann Canty of Dorchester; a brother, Walter Tamposki of Mississippi; a brother, Varnum Rannells of New Orleans; and a sister, Cynthia Cotten of Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in Boston where she worked for 15 years.
She served in the Navy WAVES during World War II.
She was a communicant and member of the Rosary Group at St. Mary of the Hills Church.
Born in Boston, she graduated from Chevrus Grammar School in Jamaica Plain and Girls High School in Boston.
Mrs. Waldron lived in Mattapan before moving to Milton 30 years ago.
She is survived by her husband, John J. Waldron; three sons, John K. Waldron of Washington and Michael G. Waldron of Ohio, Eileen F. Hanafin of Duxbury, Patricia M. Waldron of Ohio 43072
Allan R. White Jr.
Allan R. White Jr., 75, died in his home in Muskogee, Washington, DC 20005.
Joan M. Mignosa
Joan M. (McLaughlin) Mignosa, 67, of Quincy, died on April 19 at her home.
Born in Boston, Mrs. Mignosa was raised in Dorchester. She lived in Quincy for 34 years.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew A. Mignosa; a son, James Mignosa of Winthrop; two daughters, Linda Mignosa and Diane Mullaney of Quincy; her mother, Marie McLaughlin of Avon; a brother, Charles McLaughlin of Chatham, and five grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Janet Mignosa and Joseph Mignosa.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Sacred Heart Church in North Quincy on April 23. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Quincy.

Catherine A. Nash
Catherine A. Nash died on April 19 at her daughter's home in San Diego, CA.
Mrs. Nash was born in County Kerry, Ireland, and lived in Florence for 20 years before moving to Hingham. She lived in Milton for many years.
She is survived by four sons, Sean Saich of Norwell, Michael Saich of Lexington, KY, Peter Saich of Worcester and Padraic Saich of Miami, FL; a daughter, Catherine Madani of San Diego, CA; five brothers, Michael Nash of Randolph, Peter Nash of Boston, Dermot Nash of Newton and James Nash of Ireland; three sisters, Mary Jennings of Canada, Sheila Gunson of Ireland and Margaret Kelly of Milton; two grandchildren, and many nephews and nieces.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at St. Agatha Church on April 23. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Rosella G. Newman
Rosella G. Newman, 87, died on April 25 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Indiana before moving to the Boston area in 1972.
She was the Office Manager at the Trans-Atlantic Shoe Company on Lincoln Street before accepting a position as Office Manager and Administrative Assistant to the Director of the Jewish Community Council of Metropolitan Boston until her retirement in 1991.
Mrs. Newman worked as the Executive Secretary for the Jewish Welfare Board-USO during the war. She financed the Newman Weekly Bulletin and sent to every Jewish man in the service from Evansville.
She managed the candy stands at the Loew's Victory and Loew's Majestic theatres in Evansville for 13 years.
Mrs. Newman was a charter member of Hadassah and was chosen to represent the chapter at National Conventions in Boston and Chicago. She was a Sunday school teacher, a member of the Sisterhood and the Chevra Kadisha Committee of Temple Adath Israel. She remained a life member of the Temple after it merged and was renamed Temple Adath B'nai Israel. She was a friend to the needy and less fortunate. She was a friend to the elderly, performing services for those who were no longer able to help themselves.
Wife of the late late Milton Newman, she is survived by three sons, Jack Newman of Indianapolis, IN; two sisters, Bessie Greenberg and Helen Greenberg Goldstein, both of Milton, nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held on April 28. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wisconsin at Madison in 1975.
She lived in Milton for 17 years after moving from Buffalo.
She is survived by her husband, David A. Raszmann; a son, Michael P. Raszmann of Milton; a daughter, Emma B. Raszmann of Milton; her mother, Hortense M. (Hoffman) Winer of Buffalo; and a sister, Nancy J. Winer-Herzbrun of Buffalo.
Memorial services were held on April 23 at the Hoosic Club and on April 28 at Temple Beth El in Towanda, NY. Burial was in Milton Cemetery.

Dennis G. Morgan
Dennis G. Morgan, 48, died on April 16 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
Mr. Morgan worked for Best Western TLC Hotel in Waltham as an accountant before his retirement in 2000.
Born in Boston, he lived in Milton before moving to Quincy two years ago.
He is survived by his mother, Jeanne M. (Deveau) Morgan of Quincy; a sister, Janice M. Taylor of Canton; a brother-in-law, Thomas F. Taylor of Canton; a nephew, Timothy M. Taylor, and a niece, Kaitlyn M. Taylor. He was the son of the late Thomas J. Morgan.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on April 23 at St. Elizabeth Church. Burial was private.
