Richard T. Lawler
Richard T. Lawler, 84, died on April 15.
Mr. Lawler was a past state commander of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He worked for the Massachusetts state commander in 1970.
Born in Windham, CT, he was raised in Roxbury and Hyde Park. He had lived in North Quincy for 60 years.
For a number of years Mr. Lawler was a scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 28 in North Quincy.
He is survived by his wife, Catherine (D'Amico) Lawler; a son, Richard Lawler of North Easton; three daughters, Patricia Quintiliani of Pelham, Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home.
Eugene K. Zawatski
Eugene K. Zawatski, 85, of Rockland, formerly of Braintree, died May 20 at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth.
Mr. Zawatski worked for Fanny Farmer Corp. in Bedford and was a member of the board of trustees. He previously worked as an accountant for UBS Chemical Company in Cambridge.
He served in the Army during World War II.
Born in Nanticocke, PA, he attended Boston schools and graduated from Boston Latin School. He later graduated from Bentley College.
Mr. Zawatski lived in Braintree for 32 years before retiring to New York for the World Fair in the 1940s. He often used his technical knowledge to electrify bikes, lawn mowers and household gadgets.
Mr. Pinkus has lived in Milton for 41 years.
He is survived by his wife, Isabel; six daughters, Donna E. Cullen of Medway, Ruth A. Pinkus of Stoughton, Sandra P. O'Donnell of Salem, Jennifer L. Pinkus of Milton, Heather M. Simone of Dubline, CA, and Courtney Koumjian of Sudbury; a sister, Anna Pinkus of Rockland; a brother, David Pinkus of Hingham, and 10 grandchildren.
The Rev. Jeffrey Johnson officiated at funeral services at the Chapman, Cole and Gleason Funeral Home on May 30. Burial was private.

Ellen M. Creavin
Ellen M. (Whyte) Creavin died on May 22 at Hancock Park Nursing Center in Quincy.
Born and raised in Kilkerrin, County Galway, Ireland, she moved to Milton 30 years ago.
She was a former member of the Irish Music Club.
Mrs. Creavin was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, John J. "Joe" Creavin; two sons, John J. Creavin of Franklin and Stephen T. Creavin of Wayland; a daughter, Maria B. Plaus of Denver; three brothers, Joseph Whyte and Jack Whyte of Ireland; four sisters, Theresa Moogan of Wisconsin; eight grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Randall L. Forest.
A funeral mass will be celebrated 9 a.m. Friday at St. Agatha's Church. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
Visiting is 4-8 p.m. Thursday at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home, Granite Avenue, Milton.
Barbara Fallon
Barbara M. (Long) Fallon, 64, formerly of Milton, died June 9 at her home in Abington after a brief illness.
Born in Cambridge, she had lived in Milton and Dorchester most of her life, and had moved to Abington about two years ago.
A retired nurse, she had worked at Milton Hospital, Milton Healthcare Facility and Meadowbrook Skill Nursing Facility in Canton.
She was the daughter of the late John E. and Helen R. (Sobocinski) Long. She was the mother of the late Paul R. Fallon.
She is survived by two sons, Ray Fallon of Chestnut Hill and Timothy Fallon of Milton; two daughters, Maureen A. Connecticutt and Patricia A, Shanahan of West Dennis, and 11 grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held in St. Bridget's Church in Abington June 13.

Louise M. McCoy
Louise Mary McCoy, 77, died on April 26 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Ms. McCoy was a former principal with the Boston Public Schools. She served in several schools in the Roxbury and Dorchester and retired as a principal of the Lee School in Roxbury in 1990 after 30 years with Boston schools. She lived in South Boston for several years before moving to Milton in 1970. She taught CCD at St. Agatha's for several years.
Daughter of the late Charles J. McCoy and Louise (Mahoney) McCoy, she is survived by a brother, Rev. Charles J. McCoy, Pastor of Saint Philip Neri Church in Newton.
A funeral Mass was celebrated on April 29 at St. Agatha Church. Burial was in New Calvary Cemetery.
Funeral arrangements were made by Dolan Funeral Homes.

Gerald W. Feeley Sr.
Gerald W. Feeley Sr., 91, died on June 17 at his daughter's home in Milton.
A stereotyper for 35 years, he was employed by the Patriot Ledger, the Boston Herald, and the Boston Globe until he retired in 1977.
Born in Boston, Mr. Feeley lived most of his life in Quincy until moving in with his daughter this past year.
Husband of the late Alice H. (Hogan) Feeley, he is survived by a daughter, Jean M. Murphy of Milton; four grandchildren, Katie Murphy of Milton, Kevin Feeley of Malden, Joey Feeley of New Hampshire, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Saint Ann's Church in Wollaston on June 21. Burial was at the Pine Hill Cemetery in Quincy.
Helen L. Steele
Miss Helen L Steele, a Milton resident of 50 years, died at the Milton Hospital June 16 after a brief illness.
She worked at the Keystone Camera Company in Dorchester and the Jordan Marsh Warehouse in Squantum before retiring.
Born in Boston, she graduated from Quincy High School.
Miss Steele is survived by four sisters, Evelyn M. MacDonald, Ethel T. Steele, Dorothy M. Steele, both of Milton, and Bertha Shea of Stoughton; three brothers Louis P. Steele, Edwin Steele, both of Milton, and T. Earl Steele of Quincy, and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated June 27 in Saint Elizabeth Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Blue Hill Cemetery.
