ATHOL - Ina R. (Melenek) LePage, 85, of 329 Sanders Street, died on Friday monring, October 31, 2003 at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol.
Born on November 13, 1917 in Holyoke, she was a daughter of Frederick E.D. and Nellie R. (Beckert) Melenek.
A graduate of American International College and Duke University Graduate School, she taught in the school department for the City of Springfield, retiring in 1984 after 24 years.
She moved to Athol in 1982 from Springfield and has resided here ever since.
She is survived by her daughter, Candyce R. LePage of Athol with whom she lived, and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 2, 2003 at 3 p.m. in Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main Street, Orange. The Rev. Candice Ashenden will officiate.
Interment in Evergreen Cemetery, South Hadley, will be private on Monday, November 3.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday at the funeral home from 1 - 3 p.m. prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital, 171 Union Street, Springfield, MA 01105.
Witty's Funeral Home, Orange, is directing the arrangements.
Davenport Services
ATHOL - A memorial service for Louise M. (Lund) Davenport, 86, of Port Richie, Fla. and formerly of Athol, who died on March 31, 2002 in her home after a long illness, will be held at Pine Grove Cemetery, Athol Road, Templeton at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2.
She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Harold E. Davenport.
She was born on Aug. 17, 1916, daughter of Leon W. and Clara M. (Valiton) Lund .
She leaves five daughters, Janice Todd, Sally Barton, and Gail Cratky, all of Port Richie, Lois Casey of N.H. 03110.
William R. Salem
Vietnam Veteran
ATHOL - William R. "Bill" Salem, 61, of 58 Earl Dr., died Thursday, July 24, 2003 in Athol Memorial Hospital following a short illness.
He was born in Gloucester on Nov. 22, 1941.
He was a supervisor, employed by Borden Chemical Co. of Leominster for 17 years until retiring in 1982. He was also employed as a maintenance worker by Apple Valley Continuing Care Center in Ayer for several years.
He was a 1960 graduate of Saxton Trade School of Leominster. He was an excellent craftsman and enjoyed woodworking.
Mr. Salem was a Vietnam War United States Navy veteran and served from 1960 to 1964.
He leaves his wife of 37 years, Jeanne P. (Charette) Salem of Fitchburg; two sons, Randy W. Salem of Fitchburg and Scott R. Salem of Gardner; three grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation at the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Gardner, will be Friday, Aug. 1 from 7 to 9 p.m. Burial in Mass. State Veterans Cemetery, Winchendon, will be at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's local Veterans' Outreach Center.

SALISBURY - Harriet E. Wagnis, 65, of 31 Dock Ln., died Tuesday, July 22, 2003, while vacationing in Roxbury, N.H. 03110.
Cloukey Services
ORANGE - Funeral services were held on Saturday, July 26, at Witty's Funeral Home, for Timothy A. Cloukey, 41, of 350 North Main St., who died on Tuesday, July 22, at the University Of N.H. and Hope Jones of Deerfield; nine grandchildren; six great - grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at the Walker Funeral Home, 14 High St. with the Rev. Dr. Dennis Leblanc officiating.
Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery in Millers Falls.
There will be a calling hour from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
