WESTBORO - Charles S. Dummer, 35, born in Brazil, was called by Jesus to be with him.
He is the husband of Daniele Fernandes Dummer, son of Alfredo Dummer. He leaves his mother and stepfather, Ivair and Jonas Oliveira; two sons, Christofer and Jamey; and his sister, Ivanna Mednis.
The funeral will be held Friday, Aug. 6 at 1:00 p.m. at the Ellen Rogers Kennedy Memorial Chapel at Rural Cemetery, 180 Grove St., Worcester. Burial will be in Rural Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Rice Funeral Home, 300 Park Ave, is directing arrangements.

Genevieve A. (Tomaiolo) Pugliese, 81
WORCESTER - Genevieve (Tomaiolo) Pugliese, 81, of Worcester died peacefully Tuesday August 3, in St. Vincent Hospital surrounded by her family. Her husband William M. Pugliese died in 1998. Genevieve is survived by her loving family, her daughter Mary Jean Pugliese - Villa with whom she lived; 4 sons William M. Pugliese Jr. and Robert B. Pugliese both of Worcester, Michael M. Pugliese of Chicago, and Mark R. Pugliese of Shrewsbury; 2 brothers, James and Edward Tomaiolo both of Worcester; 2 sisters, Margaret Fortunato, and Phyllis Palumbo both of Worcester; 11 grandchildren, 4 great - grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Ignatius and Nicholas, and 4 sisters Philomena, Mary, and Josephine Tomaiolo, and Michelina Cariglia all predeceased her.
Genevieve was born in Worcester, daughter of Michele and Maria Madalena (Ricci) Tomaiolo and lived here all her life. Genevieve enjoyed being a homemaker. Many years ago she worked at Crompton Knowles Co. She was a graduate of Commerce High School. Genevieve wrote many short stories and poems that were published in the T&G many years ago. Genevieve was an avid reader and enjoyed yard sales and sports, but most of all her family. She was also a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Ann Church.
Genevieve’s funeral will be held Friday August 6 from the MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME AND CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St. with a Mass at 11:00 am in Our Lady of Mt. Carmel - St. Ann Church, 24 Mulberry St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home are 5 - 8 pm on Thursday. Rick E. "Yellow Moon" Lomba, 38
WEBSTER - Rick E. "Yellow Moon" Lomba, 38, of 1 McKay Way, died unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday August 3rd.
He is survived by his 4 children, Brandon and Erica Belliveau of Webster, and Ashley S. and Brittany T. Lomba, of East Brookfield; his mother, Shirley V. (Morse) Kibbe; two brothers, Mark J. Lomba and his life partner Christopher E. Grigaitis of Worcester and Joseph M., Jr, and his wife Paula Lomba; also survived by several nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins. He also leaves his former wives, Amy L. (Thompson) Lomba of East Brookfield and Melody A. Belliveau of Webster. Rick was predeceased by his father, Joseph M. Lomba, Sr.
Mr. Lomba was born in Worcester, and had lived in the Worcester area for many years and was employed on the maintenance staff at Hometown Banks.
He enjoyed spending his time cooking and fishing but particularly treasured the time spent with his children. Rick was a member of the Nipmuc Indian Tribe and was known as "Yellow Moon".
His funeral will be held on Saturday, August 7th at 10 A.M. in the Britton - Wallace Funeral Home, 91 Central Street, Auburn. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be Friday, August 6th from 6 - 8 P.M. in the funeral home. Margaret B. Sullivan, 88
NEW CANAAN, CT - Margaret B. Sullivan, 88, of New Canaan, CT died on August 5, 2004, in the Waveny Care Center. Born in Hartford, CT on February 28, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Cecelia and Michael Burke.
She is survived by a brother, Francis Burke of Newington, CT; a son, Daniel B. Sullivan of New Canaan, CT; two daughters, Margaret Krudy of Shaker Heights, Massachusetts Grand Lodge.
His wife, Shirley (Bergeron) Strange, died in 1986. He was previously married to the former Blanche Austin. He was also predeceased by three brothers, Robert, William and Charles Strange, two sisters, Elsie Davis and Katherine Keniston.
He leaves a son, Donald A. Strange of Guilford, Vt; two daughters, Carolyn Lane of Brattleboro, Vt. and Dawn Williams of Orange; his longtime companion, Doris Lamoureux of Orange; a brother, Richard Strange of Osawatomie, Kansas; two sisters, Evelyn Carey of Barre, Vt. and Mary White of Greenfield; seven grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
A funeral service will be held at noon, on Thursday, July 24, in Witty's Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in South Cemetery.
There will be a calling hour from 11 am to noon on Thursday. The Orange Lodge of Masons will conduct a service at 11:30 a.m.

Richard B. Russell
U.S. Army Veteran
ATHOL - Richard B. Russell, 52, of 413 Main St., died on Monday, July 21, 2003 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in West Roxbury.
He was born in Athol on Oct. 12, 1950, the son of Norman B. and Natalie (Trenoweth) Russell. He graduated from Athol High School in 1968 and had lived here all of his life.
He was a veteran of the United States Army, worked at the Athol Table Manufacturing, the N.D. Cass Company and several furniture manufacturers in Gardner. He enjoyed music, especially playing his guitar, art, photography and visiting with his friends.
He leaves a son, Micah Mullen of Barre; his mother, Natalie Russell of Orange; a brother, Thomas J. Russell of Ware; three sisters, Patti Dodge of Athol, Sharon Deane of Orange, and Lynn Tepper of Manchester, NH; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, W. Peter Russell, died in 1976.
Graveside services will be Thursday, July 24, at 2 p.m. at Silver Lake Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. William Hobbs, rector of St. John’s Episcopal Church, officiating.
There are no calling hours.

Winifred Baxter, Clerk, Church Member
ATHOL - Winifred (Manley) Baxter, 96, of Athol died Sunday, July 20, 2003, in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare.
She was born in Malden on May 10, 1907, the daughter of Henry and Winifred (Huntrodes) Baxter. She grew up in Malden and was educated in Malden. She moved to Athol in 1937.
She was employed at the Union Twist Drill Co. as a clerk for several years. She was a member of the Athol Congregational Church.
Her husband of 44 years, Chester Baxter, died in 1972. She leaves a son, William T. Baxter of South Hadley; a daughter, Dawn Duguay of Marstons Mills; 11 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. A son, Edward Baxter who died in 1996, and a daughter, Diane Baxter who died in 1997, predeceased her.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 22 at 10 a.m. in the Silver Lake Cemetery with Rev. Harold V. Lloyd, Jr., Pastor of the Athol Congregational Church, officiating.
There are no calling hours.
