PETERSHAM - Funeral services for Sheila R. (Smith) Leonard, 42, of 35 Leighton Rd., were held Saturday, June 28, 2003, at the Higgins - O'Connor Funeral Home in Athol, with the Rev. Harold V. Lloyd, Jr. pastor of the Athol Congregational Church officiating.
Burial followed in East Street Cemetery, Petersham and the bearers were: Costa Caris, John Callas, Stephen Viola, Bryan Viola, Zachary Viola and Donald Walton.
Diana A. Otten, Active In Community
ATHOL - Diana A. (Wilcox) Otten, 76, of 426 Wallingford, Ave., died Saturday, June 28, 2003, at St. Vincent Hospital - Worcester Medical Center in Worcester.
She was born in Athol on June 6, 1927, the daughter of Albert and Bertha (Bennett) Wilcox. She grew up in Athol, graduated from Athol High School in 1945 and from Gordon College in Wenham in 1949. She had lived in Boston, Texas, OH; a nephew, Grant A. MacMichael, Jr. of Geneva, Maine - Richard Lyon Jr., 74, of Hubbardston, Mass and Mt. Vernon, died Friday, June 27, 2003 at his camp in Mount Vernon.
He served in the United States Army in the 1950s.
Arthur W. Dodge, Claims Manager
FT. MYERS, FL. - Arthur W. Dodge, 65, of 1125 LaPaloma Blvd. 33903, formerly of Orange, died Thursday, June 26, 2003 in the University of Florida earlier this month.
Born in Stratton, Vt., July 3, 1937, a son of Dwight E. And Esther C. (Jones) Dodge, he grew up in Athol, MA, and graduated from Athol High School in 1955.
A resident of Orange 30 years, he lived in Chicopee, 18 years before moving to Massachusetts National Guard and was a Past President of Orange Kiwanis Club.
A sports enthusiast, he played in the Sunday morning softball league of American Legion Post 172, Orange, was a member of the Athol - Orange Horseshoe League, French King Bowling Center League, Millers Falls, and was an avid Red Sox Fan.
He was a former member of St. Mary's Church, and the Orange Council Knights of Columbus Orange, and St. Patrick's Church, South Hadley. He was currently a member of the South Hadley Council Knights of Columbus.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Louise M. (Calvi) Dodge; three sons, Wayne A. Dodge of Milton, FL., Steven E. Dodge of Winchester, NH. And Thomas J. Dodge of New Port Richey, FL.; a daughter, Lynette M. Goodnow of New Salem; two brothers, Norman J. Dodge of Athol and Bruce Dodge of Bondville, VT; a sister, Alice Dodge of Bondville, VT; six grandchildren; two great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, July 2 at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St., Orange. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Orange.
A reception will follow in St. Mary's Parish Center, West Myrtle Street, Orange.
There are no calling hours.

Virginia H. Ouellette
Emergency Room Nurse
ATHOL - Virginia H. Ouellette, a resident of Clovis, California in 1962. She worked as an emergency room nurse at the Inter - Community Hospital in Covina, New York City where she worked for the Merrill Lynch company for a few years.
She retired from the Florida in 1998. She enjoyed traveling and reading.
She is survived by three brothers and three sisters, Cory Vitello of Deltona, Fla., Charles and Peter Vitello of Orange City, Fla., Rose Goddard of Athol, Mary Lilley of Virginia Beach, Va., Theresa Hardway of Hollywood, Fla.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, committal services will be held in the Oakdale Cemetery in DeLand, Fla. The service will be private, and there are no calling hours

CHICOPEE - Diana (St. Sauveur) Lefebvre, 92, died Wednesday, June 25, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center.
