BRIMFIELD - Robert G. Snow, 66 of 368 Brookfield Rd., died on Dec. 29, 2003, in Belleview, Fla.
Born in Ludlow, Vt., he was the son of the late Amy Seymour (Snow).
He lived 20 years in Brimfield, formerly of Northboro.
He was the owner of Wayside Discount Store in Northboro for several years.
He leaves his wife of 30 years, Maureen B. (Symonds) Snow; five daughters, Marion Schultz of Ocala, Fla., Amy Forton of Berlin, N.H., Karen Matthews of Orange, and Cheri Carty of Brookfield; three sons, Robert G. Snow of Clermont, Gardner and Michael Pierce of Millers Falls; a brother, Harry Seymour of Concord; 23 grandchildren and four great - grandchildren.
Calling hours will be on Monday, Jan. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Pillsbury Funeral Home, Old West Brookfield Road, Brookfield.
A funeral home service will be on Tuesday, Jan. 6, at 10 a.m., followed by burial in Brookfield Cemetery.

ORANGE - James Stewart, 80, of 519 East River St., died Friday, Jan. 2, 2004, at Heywood Hospital in Gardner. Funeral arrangements with J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home are incomplete.

SOUTH HADLEY - Wayne Thomas Wetherby, 51, of 573 Granby Rd., formerly of Wendell and Orange, died on Dec. 31, 2003 at the Meadowood Nursing Home in South Hadley.
Born in Athol on Feb. 2, 1952, he was a son of Charles and Betty (Fox) Wetherby and grew up in the Wendell and Orange area until moving to South Hadley last year.
A kind, gentle man, he enjoyed going for car rides, especially going out with his mother for coffee, and loved animals, especially dogs.
His mother, Betty, died on May 16, 2003 and his father, Charlie, died on July 12, 2003.
Survivors include an uncle, Harold Wetherby of Orange and an aunt, Hazel Maes of Walnut Creek, Washington, DC from 1974 until his retirement in 2000 as a senior adviser from the Environmental Protection Agency, Office of Enforcement and Compliance, Chemical Industry Branch.
He also had previously worked for the Witco Chemical Corporation and the Olin Corporation in Michigan; Phillips Petroleum Company, Washington, D.C.; Merck and Company, Indiana.
Perry held two patents and was credited with 16 publications. He was a member of the Tau Beta Pi and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, and a member of the Petroleum Engineers for 20 years. He was a licensed professional engineer in Colo.; a son, Bruce C. Perry of Montgomery Village; four grandchildren and two great - grandchildren.
Funeral services are pending.
A memorial will be established in his memory at the Northeastern University, Boston.

WARWICK - Audrey (Massell) Greenwald, died at her home Saturday, Dec. 31, 2003.
She was born May 16, 1919, in Boston, and moved to Warwick in 1968.
She retired two years ago from RHI Inc. of Winchendon, where she had been employed for more than 25 years.
She was a lifelong supporter of civil liberties and human rights. She loved literature, theater, the Boston Red Sox and she loved her beagle dog Snoopy.
She is survived by her four children, Harry Greenwald and his wife Babette (Krolik) of Brooklyn, Gardner for 25 years, retiring in 1978. She was previously employed by the J. C. Penney Co. and the Heywood - Wakefield Company, both of Gardner.
Mrs. Gabis was a member of St. Joseph’s Church where she was president of the St. Cecilia’s Choir and its organist for many years. In the 1970’s and 1980’s she was a substitute organist in several area churches. She served as president of the Holy Family Guild of Charity, Polish Roman Catholic Union, Polish American Social League, Polish American Political Club, and was well known for wearing native Polish dresses at Church festivals. She also served as president of the Massachusetts and the Holy Rosary Sodality. She was chairperson of the Gardner Area. She was known to help people in need by providing housing in her home and financial assistance when needed.
Her husband of 36 years, Joseph W. Gabis, died in 1967.
She leaves two sons, Joseph R. Gabis of Lunenburg and Stanislaus E. Gabis of Franklin; one daughter, Theresa A. Gabis of Athol; one sister, Helen VanDyne of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren, eight great - grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Anna Buja of Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday from the Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., with a Mass at 12:30 p.m. in St. Joseph’s Church, 358 Pleasant St.
Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.

ORANGE - Funeral services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2003 for Mary L. (Lucia) Dubour, 90, of 125 East Rd., who died on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2003 at the Athol Memorial Hospital following an illness. A prayer service was held in the morning at the South Athol United Methodist Church and a funeral service was held in the afternoon at Witty's Funeral Home. The Rev. Thomas S. McKeown, Pastor of the South Athol United Methodist Church, officiated both services. Janet Paoletti was the organist. Private interment was in Hillcrest Cemetery, Belchertown. A reception was held at the home of Zane and Carol Dubour.

MONTAGUE CENTER - Arthur A. Paulin, 56, of 369 Greenfield Rd., died Monday, Dec. 29, 2003 at the Baystate Medical Center in Springfield following an illness.
He served with the Navy aboard the USS Coral Sea during the Vietnam War and attained the rank of seaman first class.
