ORANGE - Funeral services were held Friday, June 11, at Witty's Funeral Home, for Norman O. Dery, 73, of 10 Hillside Terrace, who died Monday, June 7, at Quabbin Valley HealthCare, Athol, following an illness.
The Rev. Fr. William Lunney of St. Mary's Church in Orange officiated.
Interment followed in South Cemetery, Orange.
The pallbearers were James Breau, Robert Breau, Dennis Keresey, Richard Murphy, Kevin Cleary and Richard Herk.
A reception was held at the Athol - Orange Elks Lodge 1837 following the committal service.

ATHOL - Funeral services for Lena (Calvi) Rosseau Natale, 92, formerly of Athol, who died Nov. 18, 2003, will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 12, at Our Lady Immaculate Church, 192 School St.
Burial will follow in Gethsemane Cemetery.

Bernice G. Gibbs
Life - long Orange Resident
ORANGE - Bernice G. (Lundgren) Gibbs, 82, formerly of Hayden Street, died Wednesday evening, June 9, 2004, at Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness.
Born on Sept. 7, 1921 in Orange, she was a daughter of R. Arthur and E. Grace (Herculson) Lundgren and had lived all her life here before becoming a resident at Wachusett Manor.
She was a member of the Central Congregational Church in Orange.
Her husband, Harold A. Gibbs, died in 1995.
Survivors include a son, Donald Gibbs, and his wife Rosemary, of Somers, Conn.; a granddaughter, Sheilah Greenburg and her husband Darren, of Cordova, Tenn.; and three great - grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, June 176, in South Cemetery at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Candi Ashenden officiating.

Formerly Of Athol
FEDERAL - WAY, Wash. - Claire C. (Powell) Adams, 98, of Good Haven Adult Home, and formerly of Athol, died Thursday, June 10, 2004.
She leaves two sons, David Adams of Athol, and Timothy P. Adams of Federal - Way; and a sister, Mary Yonker of Petersham.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Sunday, June 12, at St. Vincent de Paul, Federal - Way.
Teague Services
ORANGE - Graveside services were held on Wednesday, June 9, in Tully Cemetery for Freeman G. Teague, 43, of 343 Tully Rd., who died on June 6, at home following a battle against cancer. Dr. Daniel Ervin, his friend and physician, officiated. Following the service, a reception was held at Freeman and Deborah's home.

Audrey B. Anderson
Formerly Of Royalston
SPRINGFIELD - Audrey B. (Cook) Anderson, 77, formerly of Royalston, died Wednesday, June 9, 2004, of post surgical complications leading to heart failure.
She was born in Royalston on June 14, 1926, daughter of Eva M. and Austin Cook Sr.
She is survived by her husband, John; two brothers, Austin B. Cook Jr. of Royalston and Ernest Cook of Smithfield, N.C.; a sister, Austine Ferguson of Worcester; a daughter, Brenda St. George and a son, Bruce Singer, both of Enfield, Conn.; three granddaughters, a great - granddaughter and three great - grandsons.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 11, at 10 a.m. at the First Springfield Seventh Day Adventist Church, 1118 Sumner Ave. She will be laid to rest at the Lawrence Brook Cemetery in Royalston at a 1 p.m. service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in memory of Audrey Anderson, 1118 Sumner Ave., Springfield, MA 01118.

ORANGE - A Memorial Mass was held Wednesday, June 9, at St. Mary's Church for Frances L. (Wheaton) Cloukey, 78, of 600 North Main St., who died on May 29, at the Baldwinville Nursing Home following an illness. The Rev. Fr. William Lunney officiated along with Deacon Joseph Bucci. Janet Paoletti was the organist and Theresa Bergquist was the cantor. Her grandchildren brought the gifts forward and Deacon Bucci offered the readings. Her daughter, Linda Leonard, read the eulogy. Interment followed in South Cemetery.
A reception was held following the committal service in St. Mary's Parish Hall.

Norman O. Dery

ORANGE - Norman O. Dery, 73, of 10 Hillside Terr., died early Monday morning, June 7, 2004 at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare in Athol following an illness.
Born in New Britain, Conn. Nov. 30, 1930, he was a son of Alfred and Helen (Robichaud) Dery and moved to Orange at a young age.
He graduated from orange High School in 1949.
Following high school, he was employed at the Erving Paper Mills before enlisting in the United States Navy in 1950 and served in the Korean War aboard the USS Coral Sea. He was honorably discharged in 1954.
A family man, he was married to Theresa (Breau) at Holy Rosary on Nov. 22,1956 and enjoyed 47 years of marriage.
A former employee of the Rodney N.Y. and Helen Murphy of Lexington; and many nephews and nieces.
A brother, Richard Dery, predeceased him in 2001.
Funeral services will be held at Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., on Friday, June 11, at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in South Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 10, from 6 - 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to St. Mary's Church Building Fund, 19 Congress St., Orange, MA 01364.
Beatrice J. Larocque
Was Textile Worker
ORANGE - Beatrice J. (Jolin) Larocque, 95, of 49 Warwick Rd., died Friday evening, June 4, 1004, at Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, following an illness.
Born in New Bedford on Jan. 27, 1909, she was a daughter of Pierre and Exilia (Bilodeau) Jolin.
Before retiring, she had worked at several textile mills in the Lawrence area.
She was married to Leo P. Larocque and they came to Orange in 1970. He died on Oct. 30, 1983.
A member of St. Mary's Church, she also belonged to St. Mary's Women's Club and the Orange Senior Citizens Club.
Survivors include her husband Raymond of Dexter, Maine, her daughter, Dorothy Fortin, her son, Paul Larocque and his wife Marcia of Orange; grandchildren, Paul Larocque, Susan Morse, Catherine Larocque, Michael Thomas, Linda Smith, Bruce Thomas, Dennis Thomas, Gail Thomas, Mary Jo Brown, and Jerry Thomas; 10 great - grandchildren; and seven great - grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, June 8, at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St. Interment will follow in South Cemetery.
