ORANGE - A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 9, at 10 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St., for Frances L. (Wheaton) Cloukey, 78, of 600 North Main St., who died on May 29, 2004. Interment will follow in South Cemetery.

ATHOL - A memorial service for Ida M. Cole, who passed away Dec. 17, 2003, will be held Tuesday, June 8, at 11 a.m., at the Athol - Orange Baptist Church, at Church and Walnut streets, with Pastor Mark D. Bariloni, officiating.
Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be made to Hernando Hospice House, 12254 Cortez Blvd., Brooksville, Fla., 34601
Vieno I. Sinivuori,
Retired Shipper, Volunteer
SO. ROYALSTON - Vieno I. (Sillanpaa) Sinivuori, 85, of 264 Royalston Rd., South Royalston, died early Monday, May 31, 2004, in the UMass Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, after an illness.
Her husband of 49 years, Veikko M. Sinivuori, died in 1987.
She was born in South Royalston on Nov. 25, 1918, daughter of Ivari and Hilda (Oja) Sillanpaa and was a lifelong resident.
Vieno attended South Royalston Grammar School and the former Templeton High School.
She was employed as a shipper at the Simplex Time Recorder Co. before her retirement. She was formerly employed at the Mason California and New York; eight great grandchildren; and several nephews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her husband, Fremon Cloukey in 1997, a son, Donald Cloukey in 1996, and two sisters, Luella Copeland, and Janice McCormick.
A Memorial Mass will be held at St. Mary's Church, at 10 a.m., on Wednesday, June 9. Interment will be in South Cemetery, Orange.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to St. Mary's Church, 19 Congress St., Orange, MA 01364.

Karla A. Haley
Kindergarten Teacher
ATHOL - Karla A. (Sheppard) Haley, 39, of 283 Drury Ave., died early Sunday, May 30, 2004, in her mother's residence in Winchendon after a lengthy illness.
She was born in Winchendon on Dec. 23, 1964, daughter of Annette M. (Homon) Sheppard and the late Gordon A. Sheppard and had resided in Athol for 11 years.
Karla was a graduate of Murdock High School in Winchendon in 1982, attended Mount Wachusett Community College and graduated from Fitchburg State College in 1986.
She was a kindergarten teacher at the Holy Rosary School in Gardner.
She was a communicant of the Our Lady Immaculate Church in Athol, and enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 12 years, Timothy J. Haley; her mother of Winchendon; a son, Jason P. Haley and a daughter, Abigail M. Haley, both at home; a brother, Steven G. Sheppard of Winchendon; two sisters, Donna M. Girouard and Lisa A. Lary, both of Winchendon; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 3 from the Snow - Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m in the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
Calling hours in the funeral home are Wednesday, June 2 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Thornfield House of Prayer. He did many things in his lifetime. He was a carpenter, farmer and owned and operated, along with his wife, Beverly, a T - shirt shop. He enjoyed his dog, Samson, and his cat, Bootsie, his computer and singing for the Lord. He also loved being with his family.
He is survived by his wife, Beverly, of the home in Wasola; five children, Ginny Turley, Mansfield, June Brazeal, Wasola, Scott Adams, Nashville, Tenn., Roger Adams Jr., Ava, and April Adams, Wasola; 13 grandchildren; 11 great - grandchildren; and one brother, Clifford P. Adams, Athol, and a host of other relatives and friends. Services were held at the Thornfield House of Prayer with the Rev. Stan Collins officiating. Interment was in the Thornfield House of Prayer Cemetery under the direction of the Clinkingbeard Funeral Home, Ava., Mo.
Alan P. Stewart
ORANGE - A memorial service was held on Thursday, May 27, at the North New Salem Congregational Church for Alan P. Stewart, 77, who died on May 18, at Athol Memorial Hospital, and his wife, Suzanne (Forster) Stewart, 75, who passed away on May 24, at their home at the Forster Farm, 60 Chestnut Hill Rd., following an illness.
The Rev. Edward T. Boren officiated. Janet Boren was the organist. Rachel and Bruce Scherer offered the Kaddish prayer. The homily was delivered by John Vannorsdall and the Eulogy was by Dorothy Forster, Robert Stewart, and Lewis Derby. The song, “God is My Shepherd,” was sung by Ruthie Russo and the grandchildren sang the “Spirit Song.” Family and friends were invited back to the Forster Farm for a reception.
