ORANGE - Camelia "Cammie" (Whitman) Berry, 63, of Stone Valley Rd., died Tuesday, Sept. 7, 2004, at her summer home in West Brookfield.
She leaves her husband of 43 years, Everett Berry; her mother, Josephine (Thurston) Maine; a sister, Bonnie Minehart of Limington, Maine; a niece, Michelle Harmon of Ashland; and several cousins.
Her stepfather, Orra Parker, predeceased her.
She was born in Norway, Maine area and later lived in Athol before moving to Orange in 1992. She graduated from Deering High School in Portland, class of 1958, and then from the Golden School of Beauty Culture in Portland.
Mrs. Berry was an avid bowler and enjoyed dancing, knitting and needlecraft and since 1989 spending her summers camping in West Brookfield with her husband.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 11 a.m. in the Steep Falls Cemetery in Standish, Massachusetts - Memorial Processing Center, P.O. Box 31160, Hartford, CT 06150 - 1160.

ATHOL - Doris M. (Conway) Butkiewicz, 83 of 88 Drury Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare.
She was born in Leicester on July 1, 1921, the daughter of the late Joseph W. and the late Emma (Greenwood) Conway Sr.
She grew up and lived most of her life in the Worcester and Leicester area.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, John J. Butkiewicz Sr. and two sons, John Butkiewicz Jr. of Athol, David Butkiewicz of Mansfield; one sister, Barbara O'Toole of Clinton; four grandchildren and several newphews and nieces.
She was predeceased by her son, James Butkiewicz, and two brothers, Joseph Conway and Roy Conway.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, at 10 a.m. in St. Francis Of Assisi Church, 101 Main St. Burial will follow in St. Joseph´s Cemetery, Waite Street, Leicester.
A calling hour will be held Saturday, Sept. 11, from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. at J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home, 137 Main St., Athol.

ATHOL - Doris M. (Conway) Butkiewicz, 83, of 88 Drury Ave., died Saturday, Sept. 4, 2004, at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare.

ORANGE - A Memorial service was held Thursday, Sept. 2, at Witty's Funeral Home, for Joshua M. Dembek, 30, of 95 Burrill Ave., who died in Italy while vacationing with his cousin. Rabbi Alan Alpert officiated. A reception followed the service at the East River Street Grill in Orange.
Witty's Funeral Home directed the arrangements.
David W. Pitts
Direct Care Worker
ATHOL - David W. Pitts, 38, of 379 West Royalston Rd., died Friday, Dec. 3, 2004, as a result of injuries from a car accident in Keene, NH.
He was born in Fairfield, CA, on July 30, 1966, the son of the late Raymond and the late Shirley L. (Ellington) Pitts. He grew up in Fairfield and graduated from Fairfield High School. He moved to Athol five years ago coming from Fairfield.
He served in the United States Navy for four years.
He was a direct care worker, employed by the Templeton Developmental Center. He enjoyed playing the guitar and was an avid sports fan.
He leaves his wife of three years, Susan M. (Bassett) Pitts; one sister, Brenda Corbitt and her husband, Tim, of Grand Prairie, New Hampshire Rose Society.
He leaves two daughters, Betty K. Porter of Marlboro, Nancy M. Carmichael of Cape Breton, Nova Scotia; six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. He was predeceased by his wife, Annie M. (Nicholson) Musgrave, who died in 1973, and by his second wife, Frances (Sherbourne) Musgrave, who died in 1996.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 9, at 10 a.m. in the Phillipston Congregational Church, On The Common. Rev. Stephanie Flynn Pastor will officiate.
Burial will follow in Lower Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Dec.8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fiske Funeral Home, 1356 Main St., Athol.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in his memory to Phillipston Congregational Church - Ramp Fund, On The Common, Phillipston, MA 01331.
Royal H. Roach Sr., 91
Restorer Of Autos
ORANGE - Royal H. Roach Sr., 91, of 64 East Main St., a long time resident of Orange, passed peacefully on Friday evening, Dec. 3, 2004 at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol.
Born in Saratoga Springs, Maine, and R. Edward Roach of Lowell; three grandsons, Steven R. Roach, Timothy D. Roach, and Scott D. Roach, all of Orange; seven great grandchildren, Holly, Mikaela, Leah, Andrew, Alex, Shauna, and Bethany; and many close, caring friends for whom the family is grateful too.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, Dec. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Witty's Funeral Home, prior to a Memorial service.
Memorial Services will be held on Thursday evening following calling hours, at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Vance E. Frank officiating.

Loretta A. Phaneuf

ATHOL - Loretta A. (Lefebvre) Phaneuf, 67, of 739 Daniel Shays Hwy., passed away Tuesday, Nov. 30, 2004, at the Athol Memorial Hospital.
She leaves her husband of 45 years, Donald F. Phaneuf; two sons, Donald A. of Templeton, and Dean A. of Gardner; a daughter, Deborah A. Berube, of Leicester; four granddaughters, Amy Berube, Ashley Berube, of Leicester, Nicholette Phaneuf and Brooke Phaneuf, of Leominster; a brother, Raymond P. Lefebvre, of Fitchburg; and several nephews and nieces.
Loretta was born in Gloucester, a daughter of Albert and Antoinette (Simard) Lefebvre, was raised in Worcester, and graduated from the Venerini Academy in 1956. She lived in Leominster for 38 years before moving to Athol.
She was employed as a switchboard operator for the New England Telephone Company and several other companies before her retirement.
Calling hours will be held at the Wright - Roy Funeral Home, 109 West St. (off Rte. 12) in Leominster, on Sunday, Dec. 5, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The funeral sevices will be held Monday, Dec. 6, at 10 a.m. at the funeral home.
A private service for family members only will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Wincheodon, on Wednesday, Dec. 8.
