Rosa M. Morales, 77
Rosa M. Morales, 77, of 21 Lawrence St, Clinton, a retired
assembler, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002 in UMass Memorial Medical Center
- University Camups, Worcester, after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 40 years, Raphael Morales Sr.; two
sons, Raphael Morales Jr. of Clinton and Humberto Morales of Orange;
a daughter, Norma Mendez of Fitchburg; five sisters, including
Junna Zayas of Clinton; a brother; four grandchildren; nephews
and nieces. She was born in Puerto Rico, daughter of Gregorio
and Maximina (Crus) Morales, and lived many years in Clinton.
She graduated from a high school in Puerto Rico.
Mrs. Morales was an assembler at Nypro Inc., retiring four
years ago. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church.
She enjoyed cooking and was a Clinton football fan.
The funeral was held Monday, Nov. 4, from Philbin-Comeau
Funeral Home, 176 Water St., with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John
the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Maria Rodriguez, 84
Maria Rodriguez, 84, of 18 Branch St., Clinton, formerly of
New Jersey, died Saturday, Nov. 2, 2002 at home after an
illness.
Her husband, Leocadio Rodriguez, died in 1994. She leaves
six sons, Antonio Rodriguez of Clinton, Ramon P. Rodriguez of
Barahona, Dominican Republic, Thomas and Jose A. Rodriguez,
both of New Jersey; two brothers,
Luis Nolasco of Santa Domingo, Dominican Republic,
and Manuel Nolasco of Barahona; two sisters, Gloria Viera
of Santa Domingo and Delores Viera of New Jersey; four grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He
was born in Brooklyn, New Hampshire; nieces and nephews. Two
sisters and two brothers predeceased him. He was born in
Worcester, son of Edward J. and Catherine (Horan) Hayes, and lived
in Clinton most of his life. He graduated from St. Peter-Marian
High School, Worcester. He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Mr Hayes worked for 33 years for the city of Worcester Department
of Public Works. He later worked at Victory Market for nine
years, retiring six years ago.
The funeral was held Wednesday, Oct. 30, from Philbin-Comeau Funeral
Home, 176 Water St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the
Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial was in the parish cemetery.
Rose A. Jablonowski, 91
Rose A. (Kacmarczyk) Jablonowski, 91, of Clinton, died
Thursday, Oct. 24, 2002 in River Terrace Healthcare, Lancaster.
Her husband, Stanley Jablonowski, died in 1992. She leaves a brother,
Joseph S. Kacmarczyk of Shirley; a sister, Florence Hamel of South Attleboro;
nieces and a nephew. She was born in Clinton, daughter of Stanley and
Mary (Waskiewicz) Kacmarczyk, and was educated in Clinton schools.
Mrs. Jablonowski was a member of Our Lady of Jasna Gora Church.
The funeral Mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 28, in St. Anthony
of Padua Church, 14 Phoenix St., Shirley. Burial was in St. John's
Cemetery.
