Beryl M. Fenlason, 86
WESTBOROUGH - Beryl M. Fenlason, 86, of Westborough, died Monday, Oct. 4, 2004, at the UMass Memorial Healthcare-University Campus in Worcester.
He was the husband of Helen R. (Perkins) Fenlason to whom he was married for 64 years.
Born in Princeton, Maine, schools, Mr. Fenlason was a graduate of Goodwill-Hinckley School in Hinckley, Maine; four sisters, Ruth Drysdale of Ohio, and Betty Maine; and two granddaughters, Lindsay and Kate Fenlason.
He was also the brother of the late Leah Oby.
A graveside service was held Thursday, Oct. 7, in Pine Grove Cemetery in Westborough.

Elena Herrera Pucciarelli, 49
WESTBOROUGH - Elena Herrera Pucciarelli, 49, died peacefully at home Thursday, Oct. 7, 2004, surrounded by family and friends, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer.
She was the wife of Joseph Pucciarelli and the daughter of Jose Herrera of Los Angeles and the late Judith Brewer Herrera Herman.
Born in Chicago, Mrs. Pucciarelli graduated from Waukesha High School in 1973 and received degrees in business and journalism from the University of New Jersey; her stepfather, Dr. LaVern Herman and his wife, Kathryn, of Waukesha; and Abby, Bella, Aaron and Andrew Herrera; Liz Pucciarelli Coley; and Kathy Pucciarelli Negri and her husband, Rick; her nieces and nephews, Emily and Maria Ward, Jack and Alex Herrera, Joshua and Sarah Coley, and Andrew, Christopher, and Kitty Negri; and three godchildren, Emily, Bella and Joshua.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith Brewer Herrera Herman, and her mother-in-law, Catherine Ohlhous Pucciarelli.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Friday, Oct. 15, at 6:30 p.m., in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, Westborough. Interment was private.

June H. Storey, 68
WESTBOROUGH - June H. Storey, 68, of Port Charlotte, Fla., formerly of Westborough, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston.
She was the wife of Allan E. Storey. Mr. and Mrs. Storey would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in April.
Born in Grafton, she was the daughter of the late Edgar and Rose (Condon) Simoneau.
Mrs. Storey was a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College, where she received a degree in nursing.
She was employed as a nurse at Beaumont Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Westborough for 10 years, and had previously worked at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Mark A. Storey of Norton, and John D. Storey of Shrewsbury; two daughters, Carol L. Hess of Old Saybrook, Conn., and Jill L. DiForte of Mansfield; one brother, James A. Simoneau of Hamden, Conn.; one sister, Nancy Landry of Southport, N.C.; and nine grandchildren.
She was also the mother of the late Gale Storey.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, at 2 p.m., in the Rand-Harper-Pickering Westborough Funeral Home, 62 West Main St., Westborough.
Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private. There are no calling hours.

Robert R. Otten, 58
CARMEL, Ind. - Robert R. Otten, 58, of Carmel, Ind., died Monday, Oct. 11, 2004.
He was the husband of Pamela S. Otten.
Born in 1946, he was the son of Edna (Bjelke) Otten of Hopedale and the late Fredrick Otten.
Mr. Otten had a long career in law enforcement, having served as a police officer from 1968 to 1981 in Westborough. When he moved to Carmel, he became assistant director of security for the Indianapolis Star's publication plant.
Mr. Otten was a longtime member of the Carmel Masonic Lodge and played the clarinet in the Masons' Music Men and Scottish Rite Orchestra. He was also a member of the Murat Shrine and York Rite.
Besides his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Allison and Tony Schmid; his sisters, Donna and Christine; and his brother, Fredrick S. Otten.
A funeral service was held Friday, Oct. 15, at the Leppert Life Story Funeral Home, Smith Carmel Chapel, 900 North Range Line Road, Carmel.
Charles M. McMahon, 97
WESTBOROUGH - Charles M. McMahon, 97, of Westborough, died Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at Hermitage Nursing Center in Worcester.
He was the husband of the late Vivian (Rogers) McMahon.
Born in Westborough, he was the son of the late James and Sarah (Warren) McMahon. Mr. McMahon was educated in Westborough public schools,
Before his retirement in 1971, he was employed as a mechanical engineer at Bay State Abrasives.
Mr. McMahon was a member of the Massachusetts Rhododendron Society, American Morgan Horse Association, and a life member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He enjoyed woodworking and reading.
Mr. McMahon is survived by one daughter, Eileen J. McMahon of Westborough; and two sisters, Sadie Coady, and Cora Faulkner, both of Reading.
He was also the brother of the late Herbert McMahon.
A funeral service and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery will be private.

Virginia T. Leaman, 87
WESTBOROUGH - Virginia T. Leaman, 87, of Westborough, died Sunday, Oct. 17, 2004, at the UMass Memorial Medical Center-University Campus in Worcester.
She was the wife of the late P. Roy Leaman.
Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Joseph W. and Ethel B. (Bancroft) Travi.
Mrs. Leaman was educated in Westborough schools and was a 1935 graduate of Westborough High School, and a 1937 graduate of Bay Path Institute (now Bay Path College) in Springfield.
A homemaker who was dedicated to her family, Mrs. Leaman was the longest member of the First United Methodist Church, a member of the Methodist Women, and an active member of the Westborough Senior Center. She also was an avid bridge player.
She is survived by one son, Philip R. Leaman of Boylston; one sister, Linda Mayo of Westborough; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Leaman was also the mother of the late Patricia Rowe, and sister of the late Joseph Travi and Geraldine Newell.
A funeral service was held Thursday, Oct. 21, in the First United Methodist Church, Westborough.
Burial followed in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Peter A. Cassinari, 86
WESTBOROUGH - Peter A. Cassinari, 86, of Winthrop, Maine, and Punta Gorda, Fla., formerly of Westborough, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, in Winthrop.
He was the husband of Martha R. (Meuse) Cassinari.
Born in Westborough, he was the son of the late Paul and Anna (Buschi) Cassinari.
He was educated in Westborough schools, and was a 1936 graduate of Westborough High School, where he served as captain of the football team.
Mr. Cassinari was employed as a clerk at Grafton State Hospital and later at Westborough State Hospital, retiring in 1972.
He was a life member of the John Boyle O'Reilly Council #85, Knights of Columbus in Westborough. He was also an avid sports fan.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Maureen A. Szutarski of Farmington Hill, Mich., and Jane E. Higgins of Winthrop; one brother, James Cassinari of Westborough; four grandchildren, Cara Worley, Kristin Szutarski, Jonathan Szutarski and Patrick Higgins; and one great-grandson.
He was the brother of the late Leo, Ned and Henry Cassinari, Louise McMahon and Mary Cook.
Mr. Cassinari's funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday, Oct. 22, at 10:30 a.m. in St. Luke the Evangelist Church, 70 West Main St., Westborough.
Burial will follow in St. Luke's Cemetery.
