Louise A. Brothers, a resident of Franklin
FRANKLIN - Louise A. Brothers, a resident of Franklin for more than 60 years, died Friday, Jan. 31, 2003, at Medway Country Manor.
She was the wife of the late Stephen D. Brothers.
Born in Millis, she was the eldest of six children born to the late Louis Ridolfi and Agnes (Wright) Ridolfi.
Her brother, Joseph, was a pressman at The Milford Daily News for many years and her uncle, William Wright, was a past publisher of The Milford Daily News.
She left school in the eighth grade to work in the mills to help her family, but she remained a lifelong learner. She married Stephen Brothers at the age of 19 and had seven children, in addition to caring for many other children throughout the years.
According to her family, she was a natural caregiver and assisted the local country doctor for many years in taking care of both family and neighbors. This experience influenced her to become a licensed practical nurse while in her 40s. She worked for Medfield State Hospital, and then for Maryland Nursing Home for more than 20 years.
After retirement, she continued to do private care well into her 80s. Mrs. Brothers was doing "meals on wheels" for her patients long before the official program started.
Mrs. Brothers was enrolled in the Anatomical Donor Program at the University of N.H., and Joyce Brothers-Butler of Weymouth; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and her nieces, nephews and friends.
She was the mother of the late Robert Brothers, formerly of Attleboro.
A memorial service in her honor will take place Saturday, Feb. 15, at 11 a.m., at Christ Church Episcopal, School Street, Medway.

Evelyn M.H. (Thibault) Brown, 35, of Franklin
FRANKLIN -- Evelyn M.H. (Thibault) Brown, 35, of Franklin, died Saturday, June 7, 2003, at Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham.
She was the wife of William Brown.
Born in Huntington, Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.
She was the wife of Rocco J. Caputo.
Born in Norwood, she was the daughter of Blanche (Grosevitch) Wojdag of East Walpole and the late Adolph Wojdag, and raised in East Walpole and lived in Franklin for the past 28 years.
She graduated from Walpole High School in 1963. She was employed as a data entry worker for Southwood Milton Company in Milford for the past five years.
In addition to her husband and mother she leaves her children, Mark J. Caputo of Medfield and Amy L. Caputo of Franklin; three brothers, Robert of North Attleboro, Michael and Dennis Wojdag of East Walpole; and four sisters, Julie Burlone of Foxboro, Carol Michaud and Denise DiMarzio of Franklin and Joanne Rath of Wallingford, Conn.
A funeral will be held Wednesday, Jan. 8, at 10:15 a.m., from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin, followed by a funeral Mass, at 11 a.m., at St. Mary's Church.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday, Jan. 7, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
James H. Ceurvels, 44, of Franklin
FRANKLIN -- James H. Ceurvels, 44, of Franklin, died unexpectedly Thursday, June 18, 2003, at home.
Born in Milford, the son of Henry A. and Helen F. (Syngay) Ceurvels of Franklin, Mr. Ceurvels was a lifelong Franklin resident.
Calling hours are Sunday, from 4 to 8 p.m., in Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St.. Franklin.
Services and burial will be private.

Anne Elizabeth Colton, 69, of Franklin
FRANKLIN - Anne Elizabeth Colton, 69, of Franklin, where she had been a resident since 1962, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 28, 2002, while visiting her son in Danville, Calif., James R. Colton and his wife, Charlotte, of Santa Barbara, Maine, and Michael P. Colton and his wife, Deborah, of Danville, Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant. His special interests included Ford Mustangs, music, and was an accomplished artist.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a brother, Mark A. DeCoster; and a sister, Michelle A. DeCoster, both of Franklin.
A funeral will be held Thursday, Feb. 6, at 9:15 a.m., from the Charles F. Oteri & Son Franklin Funeral Home, 33 Cottage St., followed by a funeral Mass, at 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square.
Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
