MILFORD - The funeral service for Richard F. Falcon was held Friday, Jan. 31, 2003 from the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, in Milford, followed by a Mass of Resurrection at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Dennis O'Malley served as Celebrant. Sr. Theresa Lucier assisted upon the altar. Harold Getz and Joan Getz served as acolytes.
David Szanto was the organist. Evelyn Deer and Judy Thomas served as cantors. Geraldine Falcon, Christopher Falcon and Jason Falcon placed the Pall upon their husband's and father's casket. The readings were offered by Pam Adkins and Tracy Falcon. The gift bearers were Diane Major and Michael Major.
Art Cronin, James Freeney, Frank Cascuelli, Josh Nowak, Benny Ross and Aaron Andrew served as casket bearers. Honorary bearers representing Boston University included Gerry Wall, Bill Walter, Raymond Bourgeoise, Lisa LaFrance, John Soares and MaryLou Defores.
Geraldine Falcon offered words of acknowledgement and appreciation.
Mr. Falcon, 56, of Milford, died Monday, Jan. 27, 2003, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional, Milford.
Olive S. (Rogers) Demarini, 91, of Mendon
MENDON - Olive S. (Rogers) Demarini, 91, of Mendon, died Tuesday, May 28, 2002, at home.
She was the wife of Robert L. Demarini, who died in 1949.
Mrs. Demarini was born in Hopedale, the daughter of the late Bernard N. and Charlotte "Lottie" A. (Macuen) Rogers, and was a lifelong resident of Mendon. She was a 1928 graduate of Mendon High School. She was a 1934 graduate of Framingham Union Hospital, and a 1936 graduate of Simmons College, Boston.
From 1921 to 1934, Mrs. Demarini worked at the Demarini Family Store in Framingham. She was a student nurse from 1934 to 1935, before graduating from Simmons College.
Mrs. Demarini was employed as a nurse at the former Cushing Hospital in Framingham for 20 years, before retiring in 1973.
She was a longtime member of the Mendon Baptist Church and the Women's Ladies Aid Club of the church. She was a member of the Uxbridge Grange and the Middlesex County Simmons College Club.
Survivors include two daughters, Ann O. Grelotti of Preston, Conn., and Ruth H. Carlson of Mendon; two brothers, Bernard Alvin Rogers of Hopedale and Norman I. Rogers of Mendon; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of Raymond W. Rogers, who died in 1987, Leonard M. Rogers, who died in 1994, Capt. Harold A. Rogers, who died in 1989, and the late Roland Rogers, all formerly of Mendon.
The funeral service will take place Friday, at 11 a.m. in the Buma-Sargeant Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Milford.
Burial will follow in Swan Dale Cemetery, Cemetery Street, Mendon.
Calling hours are today, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
Memorial donations may be made to the Uxbridge Grange, Blackstone Street, Uxbridge, MA 01569, or to the charity of one's choice.
Donald J. Barbadoro, 73, formerly of Milford
PEPPERELL -- Donald J. Barbadoro, 73, of Pepperell, and formerly of Milford, died Friday afternoon, April 11, 2003, at his residence after an illness.
Funeral arrangements, under the direction of the Edwards Memorial Funeral Home, 44 Congress St., Milford, are incomplete.
Estelle (Bornstein) Ames, 77, of Milford
MILFORD -- Estelle (Bornstein) Ames, 77, of Milford, formerly of Sharon and Stoughton, died Saturday, June 14, 2003, at the Sunbridge of Milford Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
She was the wife of the late Alexander Ames.
She was born in Boston and raised in Dorchester.
Mrs. Ames was employed for many years as a secretary at Brown Bros. and Harriman Co., an investment firm in Boston, until her retirement in 1983.
She leaves her children, Sheila Raine and her husband, Evan, of Milford, and Alan Ames and his wife, Anita, of Sharon; a sister, Bernice Slavet of Delray Beach, Fla.; five grandchildren, Jessica Carlin and her husband Michael, Michael Raine, Kenneth Ames, Amanda Ames, Matthew Ames; and three great-grandchildren, Alex, Mitchel and Marissa.
She was the sister of the late Barbara Potter.
Services at the Levine-Briss Funeral Home, 84 Mazzeo Drive, Rte. 139, Randolph, are today at noon.
A memorial observance will be held at the home of Sheila and Evan Raine today and Monday, June 16, and continuing on Tuesday, June 17 at the home of Alan and Anita Ames.
Donations in her memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 2680, North Canton, Gardner died Sunday, July 1st, 2007, in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Massachusetts Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Worcester on October 16, 1942, he was the son of Alfred and Lilly (Pearson) Kastberg and has lived here for most of his life.

OTTER RIVER - Mitchell J. Pavlosky, 86, of 230 Main St., Otter River, died Sunday, July 1, 2007, in Heywood Hospital. He was born in Gardner, on April 17, 1921, the son of the late Marion and the late Jozefa (Poplaska) Pawlowski.
Alice Barroso, 80, of Milford
MILFORD -- The funeral for Alice Barroso took place Friday, June 20, 2003, from the Consigli-Ruggerio Funeral Home.
A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated in St. Mary of the Assumption Church by the Rev. Eusiquio Munoz.
Sanctuary assistants were Harold Getz and Joan Getz.
The pall was placed onto the casket by Joaquim Barroso, Teofilo Barroso and Elvira Barroso.
Lilliana DaFonte was lector.
Gift bearers were David Barroso and Nancy Barroso.
The organist was David Szanto, and the cantors were Sandra Piwko and Sandra Valenti.
Bearers were David Barroso, Henrique Ferreira, Hector Ferreira, John Ferreira, Tony Magina and Tony Ferreira.
Burial followed in St. Mary's Cemetery, where the Rev. Munoz offered prayers at the grave.
