Phebe A. (Chully) Conlon, 65, of Norwood
NORWOOD - Phebe A. (Chully) Conlon, 65, of Norwood, formerly of Franklin, died Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2001, at home after a short illness.
Born in Norwood, daughter of the late Cresenzo and Phebe (Cassidy) Chully, she lived in Norwood most of her life.
She was employed as a records manager for the Department of Corrections at MCI Cedar Junction, Walpole, for 20 years. She also worked at other Florida; and cats, Lilac and Topaz.
Memorial services were held Monday, Nov. 26, at Temple Beth Shalom, 670 Highland Ave., Needham.
Burial was private.
Memorial observance is today and Wednesday, 1 to 8 p.m, at the home of Elane and Peter Gilmore.
Funeral arrangements are by the Levine Chapels, Brookline.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Cancer Center of Boston, attn: Frank Coco, M.D., 125 N.Y., he was the son of the late John and Catherine (Quirk) Burke).
He was a Korean War veteran, having served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a retired regional sales manager in the diagnostic automotive equipment industry.
Mr. Burke was also a professional golfer and had also been a golf pro at several courses in South Carolina.
He leaves his four daughters, Kathleen Rogers and her husband, Robert, of Milford, Amy McGrath and her husband, Stephen, of Centerville, Paula Gaucherin and her husband, Benoit, of West Roxbury, and Maureen Robinson of Winter Springs, Fla.; and nine grandchildren.
A private memorial service and inurnment will be held at New Jersey, where he lived for more than 50 years, before returning to Franklin 6 1/2 years ago. He was a graduate of Walpole High School.
Mr. Catalano was a postal worker in New Jersey. He was a member of St. Anastasia's Church in Teaneck, N.J., and St. Mary's in Franklin.
Mr. Catalano served in the Navy during World War II.
Her leaves a brother, Robert Catalano of Franklin; a sister, Virginia Cataldo of Franklin; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late John and Attilio "Telo" Catalano and Mary Molla.
A funeral will take place Saturday, June 21, at 9:15 a.m., from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., followed by a funeral Mass, at 10 a.m., in St. Mary's Church, 1 Church Square, Franklin.
Burial will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours are Friday, June 20, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.
Instead of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Mary's Church, Church Square, Franklin, MA 02038.
