Helen M. (Waldron) Sears, 79, of Upton
UPTON -- Helen M. (Waldron) Sears, 79, of Upton, died Wednesday, June 18, 2003, in Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital, after a brief illness.
Born in Framingham, she was a daughter of the late Frank L. and Angeline (Bishop) Waldron. She was educated in Framingham schools, and lived there until moving to Upton in 1946.
Mrs. Sears was well known as the housekeeper at the rectory of Holy Angels Parish since 1964.
She was a communicant of Holy Angels Parish and a former member of the Upton Women's Club. She was a past president of the Ladies Auxiliary of George L. Wood VFW Post, a past worthy matron of Rachel Chapter Order of Eastern Star, and a past mother advisor of the Order of the Rainbow.
She leaves one son, Robert Sears of Centerville; a daughter, Faye Hauge of Hopedale; one sister, Arlene Barton of Fayetteville, N.C.; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
The funeral service will take place Monday, June 23, at 9 a.m., from the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Holy Angels Church, 1 Milford St.
Burial will follow in Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street.
Calling hours at the funeral home are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, June 22.

Joseph C. Kozel, 7, of Upton
UPTON - Joseph C. Kozel, 7, of Upton died Wednesday morning, Aug. 21, 2002, in the Evergreen Center in Hopkinton, where he was a student for the past 18 months.
He was born in Worcester, a son of Michael J. and Rita T. (Carriere) Kozel.
Despite physical challenges since birth, he touched many people and brought smiles to everyone he met. His family's need for a wheelchair van to transport him resulted in the "Joey Kozel Fund-Raiser," which saw a generous outpouring of support and concern from the local community.
Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Jason Kozel of Ashland, and James and Justin Kozel of Upton; three sisters, Jessica Kozel of Walpole, and Jane and Jennifer Kozel of Upton; his grandparents, Gloria (Letourneau) Kozel of Upton, Thomas Kozel of N.Y., the daughter of the late William and Wilhelmina Heere. She grew up in the Albany area and lived in Upton for 25 years.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two sons, Richard Voorhees of Boca Raton, Fla., and Charles Voorhees of Upton; two brothers, John and William Heere, both of South Bethlehem, New York.
George A. Vinson, 55
FRANKLIN - George A. Vinson, 55, of Franklin, died Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2003, in University of N.Y., Ella G. Lucier of Milford, who has been her caretaker of the past few years, and Mrs. Jeannette O. Allegrezza, wife of the late Aldo O. Allegrezza of Milford; one brother, formerly of Milford, Richard V. Lucier and his wife, Marie G., of Mashpee; and many cousins, nieces and nephews in the greater Milford area, Wyoming, Mich.
WHITINSVILLE -- Annie (Visser) Schotanus, 96, of Wyoming, Mich., formerly of Whitinsville and Sutton, died Monday, June 7, 2003, in the Brookcrest Nursing Home, Grandville, Mich.
She was the wife of Peter Schotanus, who died in 1948.
The funeral service will take place Saturday, June 21, in the Buma Funeral Home, 480 Church St., Whitinsville section of Northbridge, officiated by the Rev. Raymond Coffey, interim minister of Fairlawn Christian Reformed Church.
Burial will follow in Riverdale Cemetery, Providence Road, Rte. 122, Northbridge.
Calling hour is Saturday, June 21, from 2 to 3 p.m., in the funeral home, prior to the funeral service.
