Mary Lillian 'Marion' Fasulo, 85, of Maynard
MAYNARD - Mary Lillian 'Marion' Fasulo, 85, of Maynard, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at her daughter’s home in Stow. She was the wife of the late George A. Fasulo. Born in South Boston and one of eight children, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Catherine (McGue) Burke. She was a resident of Whitney Homestead in Stow for the past year and was a communicant of St. Bridget’s Parish in Maynard. She leaves a daughter, Ann Marie Jenkins of Stow; a son, Michael D. Fasulo of Lancaster; a brother, James Burke Sr., of Weymouth; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was the mother of the late George B. Fasulo and Edward F. Fasulo. A funeral will be held Friday, Feb. 23, from the Fowler-Kennedy Funeral Home, 42 Congress St., Maynard, with a funeral Mass at 9 a.m., at St. Bridget’s Church, Percival and Sudbury streets, Maynard. Burial will be at St. Bridget’s Cemetery. Robert A. Flanagan Sr., 78, of Marlborough
MARLBOROUGH - Robert A. Flanagan Sr., 78, of Marlborough, died Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2001, at the Providence Extended Care Center after a lengthy illness.
He was the husband of Rose E. (Avey) Flanagan for 58 years.
Born in Marlborough, he was the son of the late Michael and Lillie (Beausoleil) Flanagan and was a lifelong resident of Marlborough.
He was a 1941 graduate of Marlborough High School and was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, serving in World War II in the Aleutian Islands.
He was a manager of the warehouses at the Natick Labs for more than 25 years. He was a member of St. Mary’s Church, where he was an usher and worked Bingo. He was the manager of the former Mariettes Drill Team at St. Mary’s Church. He was a member of the National American Legion. He enjoyed tennis and candlepin bowling.
Besides his wife, he leaves two sons, Robert A. Flanagan Jr. and his wife, Phyllis, of Marlborough, and Richard H. Flanagan and his wife, Diane, of Marlborough; two sisters, Mary L. Rossi and Lillian J. Kane, both of Marlborough; seven grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 17, at 9:30 a.m., from the John P. Rowe Funeral Home Inc., 57 Main St., Marlborough, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m., at St. Mary’s Church, Broad St., Marlborough.
Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Marlborough.
Visiting hours will be today, from 4 to 8 p.m., at the funeral home.

Henry J. Joyal Sr., 75, Waltham
WALTHAM - Henry J. Joyal Sr., 75, of Waltham, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 2001, at the Newton-Wellesley Hospital.
He was the husband of Marjorie A. (Kelley) Joyal.
Born in Newton and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Alde and Vizina (Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, Feb. 22, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., at the funeral home.

Mary A. Cunniff, 99, formerly of Milford
MILFORD - Mary A. Cunniff, 99, of St. Petersburg, Fla., and formerly of Milford, died Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at the Westminster Shores in St. Petersburg.
Born in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Thomas F. and Annie (Kennedy) Cunniff and lived in Milford before moving to Massachusetts League of Women Voters.
Mrs. Hurley was a long-time patron of the arts. From 1974 to 1978, she served on the Ladies Committee of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, as well as the Visiting Committee of the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, from 1994 to 1995. She was a founding member of the Museum School’s Medici Society, which supports and encourages emerging artists.
She also co-founded the Children’s Theatre Workshop of Weston.
Mrs. Hurley summered with her family on Martha’s Vineyard for almost 60 years. In 1978, she gave an island in front of her Chilmark home to the Trustees of Reservations.
She was a trustee of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital and a member of the Martha’s Vineyard Open Land Foundation’s Board of Overseers. With her husband, the late Donald J. Hurley, she was a founder of the Chilmark Community Center.
Mrs. Hurley was a member of the Union Club of Boston, the Harvard Club of New York City, the Chestnut Hill Garden Club, the Edgartown Yacht Club, the Martha’s Vineyard Garden Club and the Squibnocket Associates.
She leaves her daughters, Cornelia Hurley McPeek of Chestnut Hill and Rosamond Page Hurley Shugrue of Boston, her sons Donald Hurley Jr. of Lloyd Harbor, NY, and Stephen Nash Hurley of Boston; and a number of grandchildren.
A memorial service is Friday, March 9, 3 p.m., at the Memorial Church at Harvard University, Harvard Yard, Cambridge.
Charles V. Keighley, 82, formerly of Natick
LARGO, Fla. - Charles V. Keighley, 82, of Largo, Fla., formerly of Natick, died Saturday, Feb. 10, 2001, after a brief illness.
He was the husband of Pauline Keighley, and the former husband of Marguerite (Dugas) Keighley for 50 years.
Mr. Keighley was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during World War II.
He was employed for 26 years with B.F. Goodrich. He worked at Kennedy Junior High School in Natick and retired from Norfolk County Mosquito Control.
He was a member of the American Legion.
Besides his wife, he leaves five children, Ann Sacramone of Peoria, Ariz., Verna Soucy of Northborough, Helene Prussman of Millville, Karen Lawler of Largo, Fla. and Charles V. Keighley III of Sudbury; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m., at the Rosedale Cemetery, Pleasant Street, Manchester.
