Bernard F. Tripp, 89, of Natick
NATICK - Bernard F. Tripp, 89, of Natick, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Brittany Healthcare Center following a period of declining health.
He leaves his daughters, G. Elinor King of Framingham and Carol Coco of Lancaster, Calif., Shirley Dimery of Maynard, Betty Torkelson of Westford; a brother, Clifford MacCulloch of Maynard; and six grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Saundra Stanechewski; and the grandmother of the late Bryan Melewski.
A funeral will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 11 a.m., at the First Federated Church, 200 Central St., Hudson.
Burial will be at the Forestvale Cemetery.
Visiting hours will be Monday, Feb. 26, from 4 to 7 p.m., at the Tighe-Hamilton Funeral Home, 50 Central St. (Rte. 62), Hudson.
Pearl L. Benoit, 76, of Upton
UPTON - Pearl L. Benoit, 76, of Upton, died Sunday, Feb. 25, 2001, at Milford-Whitinsville Regional Hospital after an illness.
Born in Oxford, she was a daughter of the late John and Clara (Parron) Kane.
She was a member of the Class of 1943 of Upton High School, and lived in Upton for most of her life until moving to Sunbridge Care and Rehabilitation in Milford in 1999. A World War II veteran, she served stateside with the U.S. Army.
Mrs. Benoit was employed as an electronics assembler for G.E. Telechron, Fenwal, and Timex in Ashland, before retiring in 1987.
She leaves two sons, David Benoit of Las Vegas, Nev., and Joseph Benoit of Bellingham; one daughter, Bonnie Ebeling of Indian Shores, Fla.; a sister, Eleanor Nichols of Uxbridge; her former husband, Roland Benoit of St. Cloud, Fla.; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, March 1, at 11 a.m., at Lakeview Cemetery, North Main Street. The Rev. Laurance Brault, pastor of Holy Angels Parish, will officiate.
Calling hours will be Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 7 to 9 p.m., at the Williams-Pedersen Funeral Home, 45 Main St., Upton.
Glenys R. Scribner
NATICK - Glenys Reinette (Carlson) Scribner, 86, of Natick, formerly of Lisbon Falls, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Emil and Thomasine (Johnson) Carlson. She was a resident of the Natick, Framingham and Wellesley area for the past 35 years.
Prior to her retirement at the age of 70 in 1984, she was employed in various capacities at Wellesley College for many years.
She was a member of the Eastern Star.
She leaves a daughter, Constance S. Smith of Prescott, Ariz.; a son, J. Philip Scribner of Lewiston, Maine; four grandchildren, Mark Smith, Dana Joy, Barton Smith, Steven Smith; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a memorial service Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 11:30 a.m., at the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home at Natick common.
Burial will be at the Hillside Cemetery in Lisbon Falls.

Robert O. Elliot
NATICK - Robert O. Elliot, 77, of Natick, died Saturday, Feb. 24, 2001, at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham after being stricken ill at home.
He was the husband of Marie Helene (Jollimore) Elliot.
Born in Boston, he was the son of the late Arthur and Elizabeth (McAlpine) Elliot.
He was a veteran of World War II and had been employed as a baker at the Continental Bakery in Natick prior to his retirement.
Besides his wife he leaves four daughters, Carol Bruno of Framingham, Judith Davis of Plympton, Cheryl Szczepanek of Oxford, Donna Merchard of Worcester; a son, Robert P. Elliot of Springvale, Ohio.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Joanne Connors of Tallahassee, Fla.; a son, Robert P. Poshefko and his wife, Pamela, of Hopkinton; a sister, Elizabeth Berry and her husband, John, of Camp Hill, Pa.; two brothers, Paul Radocha and his wife, Lois, of New Cumberland, Pa., Frank Radocha and his wife, Millie, of Camp Hill; a sister-in-law, Marie Radocha of Coaldale, Pa.; a grandson, Michael Connors and his wife, Heather; and one great-grandchild, Caelan Connors.
She was the sister of the late Helen Kassak and Peter Radocha.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Feb. 27, at 9 a.m., at St. Patrick’s Church.
Burial will be at 1:15 p.m., at the Massachusetts Chapter, 340 Main St., Suite 953, Worcester, MA 01608.
