Winifred A. McGrath, 91
WORCESTER - Winifred A. McGrath, 91, of Pleasant St., died Thur., Sept. 20th, in Saint Vincent Hospital.
She is survived by many nieces and nephews, among them her niece Kathleen Violette; her grandnieces and grandnephews; and a sister-in-law Shirley McGrath of Auburn. She is predeceased by 5 brothers, Martin, Henry, Michael, Thomas and Stephen McGrath, and 2 sisters, Katherine Berg and Mary McManus.
Born in Worcester on May 4, 1916, she was the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary (Smith) McGrath and has lived in Worcester all her life. She graduated from Commerce High School. She was a supervisor for many years at Comfort Products and previously at the Wiley Beckford Co. Winifred was a longtime former member of the Ascension Church and the president of the Women’s Guild. She enjoyed doing volunteer work for many years.
Her Memorial Mass will be held Sat., Oct. 27 at 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, 551 Pleasant St., Worcester, MA. Burial will follow at St. John’s Cemetery, Worcester. Jackman Funeral Home, 12 Spring St., Whitinsville, MA 01588.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Winifred’s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701, The National Kidney Foundation, 129 Morgan Dr., Norwood, MA 02062, American Diabetes Association, 1 Bromfield St., 5th Floor, Boston, MA 02108 or a charity of one’s choice.

Gerard A. "Jerry" Audette, 65
LEICESTER - Gerard A. "Jerry” Audette, 65, of Leicester and formerly of Worcester, died on Tuesday, October 16 in his home after an illness.
Mr. Audette is survived by his wife of 46 years, Susan E. (Harris) Audette; a son, David N. Audette of Dudley; two daughters: Michele A. Dominy and her husband Allen of Cherry Valley and Christine M. Audette of Oxford; a brother, Normand Audette of Millbury; two sisters: Annette Bertrand and Pauline Gaudet, both of Worcester; six grandchildren: Tabitha, David, Katelyn, Matthew, Nicole and Trisha and several nephews and nieces. Mr. Audette was born in Worcester, son of Frederick and Irene (Thibeault) Audette and is predeceased by a brother, Frederick Audette and three sisters: Yvonne Campbell, Theresa O’Donnell and Lillian Bennett.
Jerry was a co-owner of Audette’s Auto Body in Worcester for over 40 years. Before owning Audette’s Auto Body, he worked for Speedway Auto Body and DeBoise Auto Body.
Mr. Audette was a member of CMARA and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and family as well as working around the house. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, October 20 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., Worcester with a Mass at 10 AM in Holy Name of Jesus Church, 53 Thompson and Anne Marie Scott of Jamaica, VT; several nieces and nephews.
He was born in Webster, son of the late Joseph P. Sr. and Rose M. (Bielik) Kubik and lived in Dudley before moving to Putnam 21 years ago. He was a truck driver for R & M Trucking in Webster for many years.
Calling hours at the Shaw-Majercik Funeral Home, 48 School Street, Webster are Friday, October 19, 2007 from 4:00-7:00 p.m, with a prayer service at 6:45 p.m. Kindly Omit Flowers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.

Valerie Pyzynski
Alexandria, Virginia - Valerie Pyzynski, 85, of 2506 Culpeper Road, formerly of Danielian Drive, West Boylston, died Tuesday in Mount Vernon Hospital, Alexandria, after an illness.
She leaves several nephews and nieces. She was born in Brewer, Parker & Harper Manufacturing Co. for many years retiring in 1972. She was a member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
The funeral will be held Saturday from Henry Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, with a mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. A calling hour will be from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. Saturday in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, Organ Fund, 34 Ward Street, Worcester, MA 01610.

Malwina (Siemaszkiewicz) Jarowski
Malden - Malwina (Siemaszkiewicz) Jarowski, 90, of 844 Salem Street Malden formerly of Worcester died yesterday in Melrose-Wakefield Hospital.
Her husband of thirty six years Walter Jarowski died in 1969. Mrs. Jarowski is survived by two sons Thaddeus W Jarowski of Worcester and Richard W Jarowski of Malden, a sisters Bronislawa Zukowski in Poland, six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Another sister Jadwiga Nazarewicz of Worcester, died last October.
Born in Nosewicze, Wilno Poland, she was a daughter of Hieronim and Jozefa (Blarzejewicze) Siemaszkiewicz she came to this country settling in Worcester in 1947, where she lived until moving to Malden in 1994.
She was a longtime member of Our Lady of Czestochowa Parish.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed sewing.
A Liturgy of The Word will be celebrated at 10:30 am on Friday in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church 34 Ward Street Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester.
Friends are invited to call at Henry Funeral Home 33 Ward Street from 9 to 10am tomorrow prior to the funeral.

Mary T. (Sliwinski) Margolis
Worcester - Mary T. (Sliwinski) Margolis, 85, of Worcester, formerly of 8 Gilman Street died Thursday in her home after being stricken there.
Her husband of fortyone years, Sidney M Margolis, died in 1976. Mrs. Margolis is survived by a son Paul A Margolis of Worcester, two daughters, Julie Anne Bond of Worcester and Ruth E Creamer of Hamden Conn. A brother Henry Sliwinski of Grafton and Florida,six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Two sisters Eleanor Ziemba of Worcester, died in 1989, and Geneviene Aubin also of Worcester, died in 1999.
She was born in Chelsea Mass. and lived in Worcester for most of her life. She was educated in St. Mary's Schools in Worcester and later worked for thirty years as co-owner with her husband of Sid's Hardware Store, later know as Sid's Toy's and Hardware then on Lincoln Street. She later worked with her son at Paul's Paint and Wallpaper on Grafton Street as assistant manager for fifteen years prior to her retirement in 1991.
Her funeral will be held on Wednesday from Henry Funeral Home 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10:30 am in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church 34 Ward Street. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home are from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9pm Tuesday.
