Eileen M. Fitzpatrick; Government Worker
WINCHENDON - Eileen M. (Moulton) Stewart Fitzpartick, 50, of 4 Bruce Rd., died Saturday, June 16, 2001, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, after a long illness.
She was born in Fitchburg, Oct. 21, 1950, daughter of the late Herbert Moulton and lived here most of her life. She was a graduate of Murdock High School in Winchendon with the class of 1968. Her first husband, Gerald N. Stewart Jr., died in 1986.
She was employed with the Internal Revenue Service since 1995, retiring two months ago due to illness. At one time she was employed with the United States Government at Fort Devens and the former National Seat Co. of Winchendon for 15 years.
She was a member of the Cornerstone Assemblies of God. She was a former member of the Classic Bowling League at the Playaway Lanes and was a charter member of the Birch Hill Paddlers. She collected beanie babies and enjoyed playing bingo.
She is survived by her husband, John T. Fitzpatrick, whom she wed April 13, 199l; her mother, Joan (Gilbert) Moulton Jones of Gardner; two sons, Gerald N. Stewart III of Winchendon and Wayne A. Stewart of Gardner; two step - sons, John T. Fitzpatrick Jr. and Chris L. Fitzpatrick,both of Royalston; three step - daughters, Tina M. Norton and Melissa J. Fitzpatrick, both of California; 11 grandchildren, and nephews and nieces.
The funeral will be held, Wednesday, June 20, in the Cornerstone Assemblies of God, Rt. 140, at 11 a.m. with Pastor F. Calvin Miller and the Rev. Howard Underwood co - officiating.
Following cremation, burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Visiting hours at the Fletcher - Hebert Funeral Home, 70 Pleasant St., are from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., Tuesday.

Madsen Service
ORANGE - A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 16, at the First Universalist Church for Douglas H. Madsen, 72, of 84 Earl Dr., who died June 11, at the Quabbin Valley Healthcare.
The Rev. Ralph T. Clarke officiated and Donald Ainsworth was the organist. A procession of antique and classic cars preceeded the service. Interment will be private.

Louise S. Cobb; Former IPB Worker
ORANGE - Louise S. Cobb, 67, of West River St., died Friday, June 8, 2001 after a brief illness.
She lived with her care provider, Laurie Griffith, and her family for the past 11 years.
She also leaves her dear friends, Gregg Lyman, Marlene Conkey, Cheryl Irishand and many other friends and extended family.
She worked for IPB for 12 years.
There will be a graveside service at the Bridge Street Cemetery in Northampton, Friday, June 15 at 2 p.m.
A memorial gathering will be held at the home of Laurie Griffith, 157 West River St., at 7 p.m.
Vitello Service
A funeral service was held Wednesday, June 13, for Blanched M. (Richards) Vitello, 74, of 1643 Conant Rd., who died June 9, in the University of New York City, NY, a daughter of Jacob and Doris (Smith) Bedell and grew up in Florida.
Her husband of 40 years, Benjamin Crawshaw III, died in 2001.
A homemaker who enjoyed her family, she was also an avid reader.
Survivors include a son, Kenneth Crawshaw of Pensacola, FL; three daughters, Tina Gleason of Orange, MA, Lora Fontenot of Holyoke, MA and Lisa Florida; Robert, Dazey and Jacob Elder; and Alex and Erica Florida; a sister, Connie Scheiwberg of New Jersey; many nephews and nieces.
A son, Benjamin Crawshaw IV died in 1998.
Services will be held in Pensacola, FL at a later date and time to be announced. Interment will be at the Ft. Barancus Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
The family requests no flowers be sent.

Gearing Dies
Fuel Company President
ATHOL - David L.B. Gearing, 78, formerly of Athol, passed away suddenly on Thursday, March 13, 2003 in San Diego, Ohio, on March 31, 1924.
He was president of Athol Fuel Service for many years. He served on the board of directors of the Athol - Clinton Cooprative Bank. He attended St. John's Episcopal Church where he was a member of the vestry. He was a member of the Exchange Club, the American Legion, the Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Ellinwood Country Club, the Petersham Country Club and Petersham Curling Club.
A veteran of World War II, David, a retired United States Air Force Lt. Colonel, flew 65 combat missions as a bombadier - navigator. He was recalled to extended active duty in 1961 and served in France as a personnel staff officer.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jean; his daughter and son - in - law, Robin and Gary Stalians of Escondido, N.H. and Kenneth Matthews of Orange.

Dorothy M. Morrow

ATHOL - Dorothy M. (Rolland) Morrow, 82, of 140 Yale Ave., died Thursday, April 3, 2003 at the Athol Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Norwich, Minnesota for over 30 years returning to Athol in 1993.
She and her husband owned and operated a hardware store in Minneapolis for many years where she was the manager and bookkeeper until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and collecting agates.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Albert F. Morrow; a cousin, Carlton Adams of Athol, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday, April 7, at 10 a.m. in the Higgins - O'Connor Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fr. Stephen D. Johnson, pastor of Our Lady Immaculate Church officiating.
Burial will be in Silver Lake Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday, April 6, from 6 to 8 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials to a charity of one's choice.
