ATHOL - Jennie V. (Corapinski) Remillard, 87, of Quabbin Valley HealthCare, and formerly of 43 A Street, Gardner, died on Thursday, April 3, 2003 in the Athol Memorial Hospital, following an illness.
Born in Gardner for eight years until her retirement in 1960.
She was a member of the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, Gardner.
Her husband of 63 years, Philip L. Remillard, died in 2000.
She leaves one son, Michael P. Remillard of Gardner; one daughter, Annette J. Soderman of Orange; one brother, Frank Corapinski of Gardner; eight grandchildren, seven great - grandchildren; one great - great - grandson; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a brother, Edmond Corapinski of Plainville, Conn., and a sister, Cecelia Swercewski of Gardner.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols St., Gardner.
Burial will be in the Notre Dame Cemetery, Gardner.
There are no calling hours.

The Boucher Funeral Home, Inc., 110 Nichols St., Vermont Yankee and Lane Construction Co. before retiring two years ago from Local 596 in Holyoke.
An avid fisherman, he also enjoyed spending time with his dog, "Bear." Enthusiastic about NASCAR racing, classic cars and hot rods, he was a member of the North Quabbin Cruisers, as well as the Athol - Orange Elks Lodge 1837, Orange Gun Club, and the Wheelerville Community Club in Orange.
Survivors include his companion, Gail MacKnight of New Salem; a son, Mark Auger of Gardner; two sisters, Kathleen Jackson of South Yarmouth and Jacqueline Cetto of Athol; and a niece and nephew.
At the request of the deceased, graveside services will be private at South Cemetery, Orange.

Esther L. (Matthews) Lincoln
Longtime Reporter Lincoln Dies
WARWICK - Esther L. (Matthews) Lincoln, 94, of 8 Winchester Rd., died Tuesday, April 1, 2003 in the Anchorage Nursing Home, Shelburne.
Born in Warwick, Dec. 5, 1908, a daughter of Edwin T. and Ida M. (Thompson) Matthews, she attended Warwick Schools and lived here most of her life.
After her marriage she traveled with her husband, who was a logger, and lived in logging camps while he cut timber in New Hampshire.
A member of the Unitarian Church, Warwick Women's Guild and Women's Alliance, she had been active in the Women's Auxiliary of the Warwick Volunteer Fire Department several years.
Well known for her homemade doughnuts in town, she enjoyed cooking, baking, and homemaking, along with sewing, crocheting and reading. An avid gardener, she could grew nearly anything but especially liked flower gardening.
She was the former Warwick Correspondent for Athol Daily News for many years.
Her husband, Charles E. Lincoln, Sr., died in 1967. She was also predeceased by a sister, Shirley Conway and six brothers, Carl Atherton, Ralph Matthews, Sr., Melvin Matthews, Lloyd Matthews, Donald Matthews and Glenn Matthews.
She leaves a son, Charles E. Lincoln, Jr., of South Royalston; two daughters, Esther "Sue" Wallock of Winchester, Oregon, and formerly of Orange, died on March 13, 2003 of heart failure. She was 73.
Leabo was born on Jan. 19, 1930, in Orange, daughter of Charles and Gertrude O'Lari. She married Ralph Leabo in Las Vegas on March 5, 1950. He died in October of 1999.
She graduated from the Orange High School in 1947. She was a homemaker and lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Placerville, Florida and Arlen "Butch" O'Lari of Chelmsford, Mass.; two sisters, Olive Maroni of Orange and Arlene Bisbee of Athol; one grandchild and one great - grandchild.
No service is planned.

Ronald A. Auger
NEW SALEM - Ronald A. Auger, 61, of 15 Stone Rd., died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, in St. Vincent's Hospital, Worcester, following an illness.
Funeral arrangements are pending with Witty's Funeral Home, 158 South Main St., Orange.
Leonard Duguay
ATHOL - Leonard "Pee Wee" Duguay, 79, peacefully passed away on Sunday, March 30, 2003, after a lengthy illness, with his wife of 56 years, Peggy (McClearn) Duguay, at his side.
He was a son of the late Hyacinthe and Anna Duguay.
Besides his wife, he leaves behind two sons, Kenneth Duguay and his wife, Floretta, and three grandchildren of Franklyn, N.H.
