William M. Miklusis WORCESTER - William M. Miklusis, 78, of 425 Pleasant St., formerly of 5 Plantation St. died August 11 in Radius Healthcare, Worcester. He leaves his wife, Mary A. (Hanzarak) Miklusis; three daughters, Patricia T. Sipos of Amherst, Pennsylvania and Theresa MacFarland of Worcester; seven grandchildren, eight great - grandchildren and two great great - grandchildren. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Adam and Beatrice (Budnis) Chesna and lived here all her life. Mrs. Taparauskas was a former member of St. Casimir's Church. After cremation a graveside committal service will be held Tuesday July 10 at 1:00 p.m. in Hope Cemetery, 119 Webster St. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, 01701. Dirsa - Kazlauskas Funeral Home, 51 Providence St., is directing service arrangements. Alfred J. Atkins Worcester - Alfred J. Atkins 72 of 72 Chatanika Avenue, died July 4 in his home. His wife of forty nine years, Ann (Robicheau) Atkins died in 1999. Mr.Atkins is survived by two daughters, Salvation Army Captain Brenda J Richard of Rutland New York a son of John and Julia Patraitis, was educated there and came to Worcester sixty years ago. During World War II, he served with the Army in the European Theatre of Operations. Mr. Patraitis was a Police Officer with the Worcester Police Department for thirty years retiring in 1978. He had been a member of Our Lady of Vilna Parish, The Mass. Police Association. An avid sports enthusiast, he enjoyed attending baseball and basketball games. He enjoyed reading. The funeral will be held today, June 13, from The Henry Funeral Home 33 Ward Street with a Mass at 10am in North American Martyrs Church 8 Wyona Drive Auburn. There are no calling hours.
