GARDNER - Elizabeth M. (Klebauskas) Roy, 81, of 255 Greenwood St., died on Friday, March 21, 2003 at home.
She was born on Feb. 15, 1922, in Athol, the daughter of Charles and Elizabeth (Jukaubskas) Klebauskas and had resided in Gardner mayors, Linnus Allain, Clarke Stedman and Stephen Erickson. Following her retirement she was a volunteer for the Montachusett Home Health Care Corp. of Fitchburg and visited the elderly in need.
She was a member of the former Catholic Women's club, the Business and Professional Women's Club and was a past president of the Holy Family League of Charity. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church. She enjoyed gardening, quilting and sewing.
Her husband of 21 years, Ragner Roy, died in 1966.
Two sisters, Anna Hart of Salem, who died in 2000, and Frances Souza of Athol, who died in 2001, also predeceased her.
She leaves many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Funeral services were held this morning from the Poliks Funeral Home, 431 Pleasant St.
Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery, Athol.

ATHOL - Ruth M. (Thayer) Feeney, 86, formerly of 30 Crawford St., Gardner, died on Thursday, March 20, 2003 in the Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, after an illness.
Her husband, Byron Feeney, died in 1973.
She was born in Templeton on March 6, 1917, daughter of Earle H. and Mildred E. (Webber) Thayer and had lived in N.H.; three sisters, Dorothy Kimball of Athol, Eleanor Sawicki of Otter River, and Mildred Ellinwood of Edgecombe, Gardner after an illness.
His wife, Doris G. (Frogatt) Powers, died in 1970. He leaves two daughters, Judith M. Dwyer of Worcester and Patricia E. Lamoureux of Hubbardston; a son, Richard V. Powers died in 2001. He also was predeceased by a brother, Richard I. Powers and four sisters, Mary R. Jasper, Celestine E. Sharpe, Eleanor F. Klunk and Agatha E. Powers.
Powers was born in Worcester, son of the late Richard F. and Anna (Murphy) Powers and had lived in Worcester for 25 years, and then Shrewsbury for 28 years before moving to Athol three years ago. He graduated from the Worcester Boys Trade School in Worcester.
Mr. Powers was a World War II United States Army veteran having served with the 5th Infantry in the European African Middle Eastern Campaign.
He had been employed as a foreman for Wyman Gordon in Worcester for more than 45 years before he retired in 1985.
He was a former member of the Worcester Lodge of Elks No. 243 and a member of the Athol Lodge of Elks.
Mr. Powers' funeral will be held on Saturday, March 22 from the Britton - Shrewsbury Funeral Home (brittonfuneralhomes.com) 648 Main St., Shrewsbury, with a funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in Saint Mary's Church., 640 main St., Shrewsbury.
Burial will be in Saint John's Cemetery, Worcester.
Calling hours are today from 6 to 8 p.m. in the funeral home.
