ATHOL - June E. (Stockwell) Quader, 75, of 360 King Rd., died on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at her home.
She was born in Athol on Jan. 8, 1927, the daughter of Alfred L. and Pearl A. (Nowe) Stockwell. She has lived in Athol all of her life and attended Athol High School.
She was a certified nursing assistant. She worked at the former Burger King Restaurant In Athol, had previously worked at the McElwain Shoe Shop, the Tully Brook Rest Home and the Fleetwood Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing the piano, stamp collecting and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Her husband of 47 years, Paul P. Quader, died in 1999. She leaves a son, Paul A. Quader of Athol; two aunts, Ruby Stockwell of Sun City, Ariz., and Violet Stockwell of Orange. A brother, Richard Stockwell, died in 1996.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. at the New Life Christian Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, 347 South Main St., Orange, with Pastor Frank Visco, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Silver Lake Cemetery.
There are no calling hours and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

Strandli Services
ATHOL - A committal service for Tom Strandli, 59, of 246 Brickyard Rd., who died on Sept. 19, 2002 in the Youville Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 in the South Cemetery, Orange, at 3:30 in the afternoon.
Witty's Funeral Home of Orange is directing the arrangements.
Mary Anne Burnham

ATHOL - Mary Anne T. (Salahna) Burnham, 66, of 94 Moore Hill Rd., died Friday, Oct. 4, 2002 at home, following a lengthy illness.
Her husband of 40 years, Roy W. Burnham, died in 1996.
She leaves a son, Michael J. Burnham of Athol; four daughters, Susan M. Sargent of Phillipston, Theresa A. Burnham of Royalston, Diann C. Burnham of Boston, and Nancy E. Burnham of Athol; her mother, Anna Salahna of Athol; a brother, Stanley T. Salahna Jr. of Athol; two granddaughters, Quinn Sargent and Rhetta Guimond; three grandsons, Christopher Burnham, Patrick Sargent, and Beau Guimond; her uncle, Leon Mazialnik of Athol; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was born in Maine and formerly of Athol, died after a long illness on Sept. 9, 2002 at the Hadlow Hospice Center in Jacksonville, Fla.
He was born in Athol on Aug. 8, 1951, the son of John A. and Anne (Rowe) Hickey. He grew up in Athol and attended Athol High School.
He lived in Biddeford for the past 15 years working in the construction field.
He was a member of the United States Marine Corps.
An avid outdoorsman and fisherman, he enjoyed both fresh water and deep sea fishing. He also enjoyed gardening.
Besides his mother, Anne of St. Augustine, Fla., he leaves his longtime friend and companion, Robin Hamel of Biddeford; two daughters, Carolyn Hickey of Brooklyn, Calif.; a sister, Marvis Michel of Orange; and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Marion LaFord died in 1981.
She was born in Orange on June 20, 1928, a daughter of Fred R. and Dorothy M. (Brown) Ingalls, and was raised there. She had lived many years in Gorham, Maine.
Private burial will be held in Gethsemane Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
