ATHOL - David J. Freeman, 46, of 90 J St., died on Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, at home.
He was born in Athol on Sept. 13, 1956, the son of Rodney B. and Joan (Lovewell) Freeman. He grew up in Athol and attended schools in Athol.
He was a construction worker in the Gardner for the past 10 years moving to Athol in August of this year. He enjoyed country music, fishing, cars and motorcycles.
He leaves his parents, Rodney B. Freeman of Bradenton, Fla.; his mother, Joan L. Freeman of Athol; a daughter, Leah Freeman of Chicopee; a sister, Janet E. Baczewski of Gardner; three brothers, Alan R. Freeman of Athol, Gary T. Freeman of Athol, Paul S. Freeman of Ft. Irwin, N.H.
He was born on March 21, 1941 in Orange, the son of Joseph C. and Anna A. (Gerstel) Bacigalupo. He was a graduate of the Mahar Regional High School in Orange.
Beaudreault Services
ORANGE - A Mass of Christian Burial was held on Monday, Oct. 7, 2002 in the St. Francis of Assisi Church of Athol for Judith M. (Ghizzoni) Beaudreault, 62, of 288 Butterworth Rd., who died on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 in the Athol Memorial Hospital. The Rev. Fr. Jamie Callahan of the Our Lady Immaculate Church of Athol officiated. Theresa Gabis was the cantor and organist. Eulogies were offered by Fr. Raymond Messier and her son, Scott Beaudreault.
The pallbearers were: Scott Dragon, Dana Zewiey, Michael Hagety, Billy McCarthy, George Sparrow and Scott Beaudreault. Honorary pallbearers were: George Sparrow Jr., Gregory Sparrow and Dana Zewiey Jr.
Interment will be private.
A reception was held following the Mass at the American Legion Home in Athol.

Marilee (Burnham) Brunelle

PETERSHAM - Marilee (Burnham) Brunelle, 66, of 49 East St., died on Monday, Oct. 7, 2002, in the Worcester Medical Center, Worcester.
She was born in New York City, N.Y.; three grandchildren, Shannon, Sean and Morgan; and several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, Neil R. Burnham and John Burnham, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. in the Petersham Orthodox Congregational Church, with Rev. Clyde Powell interim pastor, officiating.
Burial will be at the convenience of the family.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, Oct. 9, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. in the Fiske Funeral Home, Athol.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Petersham Orthodox Congregational Church - Capital Improvement Fund c/o Board of Trustees P.O. Box 354 Petersham, MA 01366.
June E. Quader
Pianist, Collector
ATHOL - June E. (Stockwell) Quader, 75, of 360 King Rd., died on Saturday, Oct. 5, 2002, at her home.
She was born in Athol on Jan. 8, 1927, the daughter of Alfred L. and Pearl A. (Nowe) Stockwell. She has lived in Athol all of her life and attended Athol High School.
She was a certified nursing assistant. She worked at the former Burger King Restaurant In Athol, had previously worked at the McElwain Shoe Shop, the Tully Brook Rest Home and the Fleetwood Nursing Home. She enjoyed playing the piano, stamp collecting and crossword puzzles. She was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Church.
Her husband of 47 years, Paul P. Quader, died in 1999. She leaves a son, Paul A. Quader of Athol; two aunts, Ruby Stockwell of Sun City, Ariz., and Violet Stockwell of Orange. A brother, Richard Stockwell, died in 1996.
Memorial services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 10 a.m. at the New Life Christian Fellowship of the Assemblies of God, 347 South Main St., Orange, with Pastor Frank Visco, officiating.
Burial will follow in the Silver Lake Cemetery.
There are no calling hours and in lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of the donor's choice.

ATHOL - A committal service for Tom Strandli, 59, of 246 Brickyard Rd., who died on Sept. 19, 2002 in the Youville Hospital and Rehabilitation Center, Cambridge, will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, 2002 in the South Cemetery, Orange, at 3:30 in the afternoon.
Witty's Funeral Home of Orange is directing the arrangements.
MacLean Services
ATHOL - Funeral services for Jennie M. (Allen) MacLean, 88, of 467 New Sherborn Rd. were held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002, in the Our Lady Immaculate Church. The celebrant was Rev. Stephen D. Johnson, the organist was Theresa Gabis accompanied by Rev. James Callahan and Lynn Goupil.
Her daughters, Sondra French, Sharon MacLean and Susan MacLean, placed the pall on the casket. Her son, Stephen B. MacLean, did the readings and her children, Stephen MacLean and Sheila Bachant, brought the gifts forth.
Burial was in Silver Lake Cemetery. Honorary bearers were Adam MacLean, Andrew MacLean, Christopher Bachant, David Bachant, Daniel Bachant and Shelley Spear.
The Fiske Funeral Home directed arrangements.
Amedio Services
ORANGE - Funeral services for Rose T. (Bosco) Amedio, 88, of 383 East River St. were held on Thursday, Oct. 3, 2002 with a Mass in Our Lady Immaculate Church, Athol. Rev. Stephen D. Johnson, pastor, was the celebrant of the Mass. The organist was Theresa Gabis.
Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery. Bearers were Sam Kaczmarczyk, Tom Kaczmarczyk, Dan Kaczmarczyk, Steven Kaczmarczyk, Mark Amedio, and Ralph Chiasson.
