"Kim" Kimball II, 86, of 45 Chase Rd., who died on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2002 in the Harborside Applewood Healthcare, Winchester, Florida. Everett I. Healy
ATHOL - Everett I. Healy, 83, of 416 Main St. died Thursday, November 14, 2002at the Athol Memorial Hospital.
He was born in Malden, New York and inAthol most of his life. He attended grade school in Kennebunk and graduated fromAthol High School in 1940.
He worked at the L.S. Starrett Co. for over 20 years until his illness forced him toretire. He had previously worked in Kennebunk and Florida, a granddaughter, Shari - Ann Healy of Florida. A sister Norma Sibley died in 2001 and a step - sister Marion Abare died in 1998.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, November 19, 2002 at 2 p.m. in the Athol - Orange Baptist Church, Church and Walnuts Streets, Athol, with pastor Mark D. Bariloni and Rev. James Willis, pastor of Central Congregational Church of New Salem officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery. There will be a calling hour at the church from 1 - 2 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the Athol - Orange Baptist Church, 131 Ridge Avenue, Athol, MA 01331.
Higgins - O'Connor Funeral Home, 146 Main Street, Athol, is directing arrangements.
Thaddeus W. Austin

ATHOL - Thaddeus W. Austin, 90, of Athol, died Thursday, Nov. 14, 2002, in the LaChance Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Gardner.
He was born in Brooks, Maine.
He was a graduate of the engineering program at the University of Maine where he spent much of his time after retirement.
His wife of 64 years, Delva E. (Loon) Austin, died on Jan. 2, 1999. He leaves a son, Robert W. Austin of Acton; two daughters, Joyce E. LaFontaine of Gardner, Sandy E. Austin of Middleton; a sister, Beatrice Hanson of Brooks, N.H.
Born in Lynn, on May 22, 1916, a son of James D. and Prudence H. (Hanscom) Kimball, he grew up in Cleveland, N.Y. where he worked at the Pawling Rubber Company 25 years. He was later employed at the Pawling YMCA and prior to retirement in 1978 he worked as a recreational therapist at the N.Y. for 12 years.
A former member of the Damon and Pythias Lodge of N.Y. Masonic Lodge, he was a member of the Warwick Historical Society and Kimball Family Association where he had held various offices.
A woodworker, he enjoyed making furniture and had also been a beekeeper for many years.
After moving to Warwick in 1982, he served as a selectman in 1985.
He leaves his wife of 33 years, Marie E. (Grossarth) Kimball; two sons, James D. Kimball of Novelty, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; several nephews and nieces.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Brenda H. Kimball.
A graveside service will be held on Sunday, Nov. 17 at 1 p.m. in the Warwick Center Cemetery, Orange Road. Pastor Daniel Dibble of the Trinitarian Congregational Church will officiate.
There are no calling hours.
In lieu of flowers, contributions are suggested to the Warwick Free Library, Hotel Road, Warwick, or the Metcalf Memorial Chapel, Athol Road, Warwick, 01378.

Nurse, Auxiliary Member At AMH
ATHOL - A. Virginia (McIntosh) Peters, 81, formerly of 105 Simonds St. and 416 Main St., died on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 at the home of her step - son and his wife, Gary and Nanci Peters in South Deerfield.
She was born in Athol on March 6, 1921, the daughter of Raymond and Helen (Fisher) McIntosh. She had resided in Athol most of her life and graduated from Athol High School in 1940.
She worked several years at the Athol Memorial Hospital as an L.P.N., was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, and the Athol Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. She took great interest in interior decorating, always enjoying decorating her homes.
Her husband of 28 years, George A. Peters, died in 2000 and her previous husband, William R. Berry, died in 1970. She leaves a daughter, Mary Ann Brill of Kingman, Ariz.; three step - sons, Gary Peters of South Deerfield, Dennis Peters of Heath, Lawrence Peters of Colstrip, Mont.; two step - daughters, Laurie Naprovnik of Dearborn, Mo., Debra Peters of Columbia, Md.; four grandchildren and eight step - grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 15, at 9:30 a.m. in the Higgins - O'Connor Funeral Home, with the Rev. Fr. A. Milton Cheney, III, rector of St. John's Episcopal Church officiating.
Burial will follow in Silver Lake Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday, Nov. 14, from 6 to 8 p.m.

ATHOL - Funeral services for Winifred P. (MacDonald) "Winnie" Gormley, 83, of 462 Twitchell St., were held on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2002 in the J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home. Rev. Dr. R. Lee Smith, pastor of Starrett Memorial United Methodist Church, officiated.
Burial was in Gethsemane Cemetery. Bearers were Michael Gormley, Justin Fabella, Thomas Donnelly, Fred Ryder, Ronald Trinque, Ronald Fournier, Charles Stone, and Gregory Stone.
The J. Edward Murphy Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
