Margaret Crampton
Margaret Elizabeth Crampton, 85, of Edgewater and formerly of District Heights, died of natural causes April 7, 2002 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
A homemaker, Mrs. Crampton was born Feb. 21, 1917, in Washington, D.C., and moved to Edgewater eight years ago. She was a member of the Angel Club.
Her husband, Raymond John Crampton, died in March 1979.
Surviving are three daughters, Elizabeth Ann Usmiller and Rose Mary and Lilly Mae Crampton, all of Edgewater; four grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was the sister of the late Donald and Leslie Wick and Ellie Minton.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where the funeral service will be at 10 a.m Wednesday. Burial will be in Epiphany Episcopal Church cemetery in Forestville.
Nancy Hughes
Private services were held today for Nancy Ann Frey Hughes, 70, who died of natural causes April 4, 2002 at her Severna Park home after a brief illness.
A homemaker, Mrs. Hughes was born on Feb. 14, 1932, and raised in Lancaster, Pa. She was married
to Douglas J. Hughes on Easter Sunday, April 9, 1950.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Douglas John Hughes of Annapolis; one sister, Mindy Sue Frey-Miller of Lancaster; and two grandchildren.
Burial was in Maryland Veterans cemetery in Crownsville. Arrangements were by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
Ralph Teg
Ralph David Teg, 82, a resident of Somerford Place Assisted Living in Annapolis and previously of Washington, D.C. for 50 years, died at his home on April 3, 2002.
Mr. Teg, the son of the late David and Annie Teg, was born in Washington on Aug. 16, 1919, and graduated from McKinley Tech High School in 1938.
He served in the Navy during World War II, earning the American Theater Medal, the World War II Victory Medal, the Asia-Pacific ribbon and the Good Conduct Medal.
Mr. Teg worked as an engineering liaison with Communication Electronics Inc. in Rockville.
He was a member of the Brookeville Lions Club of Chevy Chase, serving as secretary in 1968, and belonged to the College Park Moose Lodge 453 and Prince George's College Park Senior Citizens Bowling League. He also enjoyed bike riding and reading.
On Sept. 28, 1946, he married
Lea Teg, who died Dec. 26, 1990.
Surviving are two sisters, Edna Winifred Teg Lanham of Mount Airy and Ethel Virginia Teg Much of Harwood.
He was the brother of the late Myrtle Teg Truslow Riley.
A graveside service will be held at 11:30 am. tomorrow at Washington National Cemetery, 4101 Suitland Road in Suitland. Arrangements by Hardesty Funeral Home.

Robert White Jr.
Robert L. "Uncle Junior" White Jr., 66, a resident of Severna Park for 18 years and previously of Odenton, died of natural causes April 4, 2002 at his home after a lengthy illness.
Mr. White was born on April 9, 1935, and raised in Rock Hill, S.C. He graduated from Emmett Scott High School in Rock Hill and the Phelps Vocational School in Washington, D.C.
He worked for more than 30 years at the National Security Agency at Fort George G. Meade until his retirement.
He also was a licensed home improvement contractor who enjoyed working with his hands.
Mr. White was an elder at Glen Burnie Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he taught Sabbath School. He enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are his wife, Fannie B. White; two sons, Robert E. White of Glen Burnie and Gary L. White of Baltimore; five daughters, Linda McCullough of Rock Hill, Ruby L. Adams of Arnold, Brenda S. Redding of Annapolis, Wanda G. Jones of Spotsylvania, Va., and Ashley J. White of Severna Park; two sisters, Martha B. Dashiell of Washington and Carrie J. Miller of Rock Hill; 14 grandchildren; and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. A wake will be held from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday at Seventh Day Adventist Church of Glen Burnie on Aquahart Road, with funeral services at noon. Burial will be in Annapolis Memorial Gardens on Bestgate Road.

Robert Georg
Robert Dale Georg Sr., 77, a 46-year-resident of Severn, died of cancer April 11, 2002 at his home.
Mr. Georg was born in Accident on May 16, 1924. He was a sergeant in the Quartermaster Corps, serving in Germany from 1946 to 1948. He received the World War II Victory Medal and the Army of Occupation ribbon. He also served in Korea from 1950 to 1952.
Mr. Georg was employed with the former Westinghouse Corp. working with model development. He was active in the design of AWACS and the F16, radar and testing.
He was a member of the First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Odenton. He enjoyed camping and woodworking, played the guitar and sang bass in the gospel choir.
Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Katie Georg; two sons, Robert Georg Jr. of Elkton and Ron Georg of Pasadena; his daughter, Linda Georg Hansen of Millersville; two brothers, Roy William Georg of Taneytown and Walter Carlton Georg of Severn; two sisters, Martha Elizabeth Williams and Helen Louise Morrison of Severn; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, 851 Annapolis Road in Gambrills. A memorial service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at First Evangelical Lutheran Church on Odenton Road in Odenton. Burial will be private.

Cynthia Green-Queen
Cynthia Marie "Cindy" Green-Queen, 47, of Annapolis, died of heart failure April 11, 2002 at her home after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Queen was born in Baltimore on Dec. 16, 1954, and received her general education diploma.
She enjoyed reading books and watching movies and spending time with her daughter.
Surviving are her husband, Thomas William Queen; her daughter, Jocelyn Ann Coates of Annapolis; three brothers, Albert, John and George Green, all of Annapolis; three sisters, Eleanor Armstead of Washington, D.C., and Rosemary Butler and Pamela Green of Annapolis.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Monday with a Christian wake at 10:30 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. at Mount Moriah A.M.E. Church, 2204 Bay Ridge Ave. Burial will follow in Annapolis Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are by Reese and Sons Mortuary.
Thomas Jenkins
Thomas Carlyle "Tippy" Jenkins Sr., 65, of Annapolis, died April 10, 2002 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a lengthy illness. The cause of death was not available.
Mr. Jenkins was born on July 31, 1936, in Washington, D.C. He attended Maryland Park and Lyndon Hill Junior High schools.
He enjoyed woodworking, old cars and collecting coins.
In 1957 he married
Phyllis Jenkins of Bowie. The couple divorced in 1989.
Also surviving are two sons, Thomas Jenkins Jr. and Danny E. Jenkins of Bowie; his daughter, Wendy LeSueur of Alexandria, Va.; two brothers, Richard Jenkins of Waldorf and Joseph Jenkins of Clinton; four grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 N.W. Crain Highway in Bowie, where services will be at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Burial will follow in Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
