John Healy
John C. Healy Jr., 49, of Millersville, died of cancer May 27, 2002 at his home.
Born in Baltimore, Mr. Healy worked for 27 years for the Campbell Soup Co. as a senior account executive.
He was a member of the Walden Golf Club, the Boosters Club of Cardinal Gibbons High School and the Parents Club at Georgia Institute of Technology.
His hobbies were playing golf and working on computers.
Survivors include his wife Robin Moleski Healy of Millersville; one son, Zachary Ryan Healy of Atlanta, Ga.; his father, Dr. John C. Healey Sr. of Catonsville; five brothers, Brian Healey, Colin Healy, Patrick Healy and Terrance Healey, all of Catonsville, and Kevin Healy of Virginia; and four sisters, Deirdre Gibbons, Kathleen Healy, Robin Healy and Sheila Hunt, all of Catonsville.
He was the son of the late Dorothy M. Canton Healy.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of the Fields Catholic Church, Cecil Avenue, Millersville.
Arrangements are by the Singleton Funeral Home of Glen Burnie.

Lela Vieser
Lela Hilliker Vieser, 81, of Crownsville, died of natural causes May 27, 2002 at the Spa Creek Center, Genesis Eldercare Network, after a lengthy illness.
Born in Irvington, N.J., Mrs. Vieser was the daughter of the late Edward and Grace Smith Hilliker. She married
Air Force Lt. Walter N. Vieser on Nov. 24, 1944, and as a military wife, lived in numerous locations in Europe and the United States.
She was a 39-year member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church in Severna Park. Mrs. Vieser was an avid supporter of the Green Hornets, a youth sports program in Severna Park. She also was a member of the Severna Park Bridge Club and a leader of the House Council at the Sunrise Assisted Living of Severna Park.
She was a summer resident of Rehoboth Beach, Del., and spent part of the winter each year in Hutchinson Island, Fla.
Surviving are one son, Walter N. Vieser II of Gaithersburg; two daughters, Retta Barkley of Baltimore and Wendy Vieser Young of Crownsville; and nine grandchildren. Her husband died in 1995.
She was the sister of the late George and William Hilliker.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Highway. Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church. Burial will be private.

Scott Wilson
Scott Ronald Wilson, 39, of Deland, Fla. and previously of New Smyrna Beach, Fla., died at home on May 27, 2002 due to complications of brain cancer.
Mr. Wilson, the son of James B. and Muriel E. Wilson, was born In Conneaut, Ohio. He was a 1981 graduate of Chesapeake High School in Pasadena where he was a champion wrestler and was on the varsity team.
He was a 1986 graduate of the University of Central Florida at Orlando and the inventor and multiple patent holder of nationally known and distributed fishing lures. These include "The True Motion Lure, " "Walking Worm, " and the "Kicktail." He was the co-founder of Merritt Lure Co. in 1987 and founder of Wilson Prototype Inc. in 1994.
Mr. Wilson was a member of the Stetson Baptist Church in Deland and served as a youth Sunday school teacher.
In addition to being a fishing expert he was a water sports enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife, Renata M. Wilson; two daughters, Aubrey Wilson and Brinley Wilson of Deland; his parents, of New Smyrna Beach; two brothers, James W. Wilson of Severna Park, and Timothy Jay Wilson of Ellicott City and one sister, Suzanne Eaton of Stevensville.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the Stetson Baptist Church, 1025 W. Minnesota Ave. in Deland.

Elaine Wooten
Services were held May 18 in Texas for Elaine Hayes Wooten, 61, formerly of Annapolis, who died May 14, 2002 at her home in Lovelady, Texas.
The daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Kermit Hayes, Mrs. Wooten was born and raised in Annapolis. She graduated from the University of Maryland, Eastern Shore, and taught in Ohio and Texas. She was employed at the Texas Detention Center at the time of her death.
She was formerly married
to Burtis Wooten of Texas.
She is survived by four daughters, Angelina Wooten Santos of Huntsville, Texas, Tonia Spencer of Crockett, Texas, Lovie Riley of Lufkin, Texas, and Sabrina Sullivan of Dallas, Texas; one son, Shawn Wooten of Texas; three sisters, Annie Hayes Watts of Arnold and Rose Hayes Wallace and Betty Hayes Jones, both of Annapolis; three brothers, James and Oliver Hayes, both of Annapolis, and Howard Hayes of Clinton; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Bernice Hayes Farabee and Jeannette Hayes Johnson.
Dale Younker
Dale David Younker, 63, of Rohrersville in Washington County, died of an apparent heart attack May 27, 2002 at Washington County Hospital in Hagerstown.
Born in Hancock, Mr. Younker was an Army veteran and received a general education diploma while in the service. He was employed for 38 years with the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 77 in Washington, D.C.
He was a member of the Clopper-Michael Post 10 of the American Legion in Boonsboro and an avid fisherman.
Survivors include his wife, Ruby N. Early Younker; five sons, David Younker of Smithsburg in Washington County, Preston Dale Younker and Dale David Younker Jr. of Edgewater, Randy Thompson of Annapolis and Doug Thompson of Rohrersville; four daughters, Darlene Rodriguez, Pamela Younker and Cindy Hagan of Edgewater, and Tammy Bowman of Hagerstown; three brothers, Bobby P. Younker of Huntsville, Ala., Elmer E. Younker of Hedgesville, W.Va., and Blair Q. Younker of Grantsville in Garrett County; four sisters, Sylvia L. Smith of Hagerstown, Valeria Shoemaker of Hancock, Lillian Hart of Clear Spring in Washington County and Patsy Klinger of Columbia; and 15 grandchildren.
Visitation is from 7 to 9 tonight at Bast Funeral Home, 7606 Old National Pike, Boonsboro, where services will be at 10 a.m. tomorrow. Burial will follow in Mount Zion cemetery at Locust Grove in Rohrersville.

Ronald Atwater
Ronald Gordon Atwater, 60, died of liver cancer May 22, 2002 at his Severna Park home after a nine-month illness.
Born Nov. 19, 1941, and raised in Rochester, N.Y., Mr. Atwater graduated from the University of Rochester. He was a longtime resident of Darnestown in Montgomery County and moved to Severna Park eight years ago.
He was president of Arundel Com-tech.
His interests were fishing, boating and travel.
Surviving are his wife, Patricia Atwater; four daughters, Susan Schwarz of Oaksville, Va., Cindy Heverling of Ellicott City, Colleen Carr of Arnold and Katie Atwater of Chevy Chase; one brother, Charles Atwater of Longwood, Fla.; and eight grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Ritchie Highway and Cypress Creek Road, Severna Park. Burial will be in Lakemont cemetery in Davidsonville.
