Francis Craig
Francis Edward Craig, 79, a resident of Annapolis for more than 40 years, died of cancer June 21, 2002 at the Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center after a brief illness.
Known as "Mr. Buddy" and "Craig, " Mr. Craig was born April 14, 1923, in Lanham, and attended high school. He worked for Air Products and Chemicals in Hyattsville.
Hunting, fishing, baseball and having a good time with family and friends were among his interests.
Surviving are his wife, Mary Hawkins Craig, whom he married
in Feburary 1971; two daughters, Linda Craig of Largo and Rhonda Smith of Dumfries, Va.; two stepsons, Ray A. Dorsey of Jessup and Michael Dorsey of Annapolis; two sisters, Edna Lorraine Stewart of Seat Pleasant and Hattie Ruth Bogle of Glenarden; and three grandchildren.
Visitation is at 9 a.m. tomorrow at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St., with a Christian wake at 10:30 a.m. and funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
William Glaser
Services for William Jack "Bill" Glaser, 68, of Annapolis, were held this morning at St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Annapolis.
Mr. Glaser died June 20, 2002 at his home of complications from a stroke in February.
Born May 29, 1934, in Loveland, Colo., he received a bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering from Colorado State University at Fort Collins in 1963 and received a certificate of achievement from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
He was employed with the research division of the U.S. Postal Service. Earlier in his career he was a senior computer engineer and manager at Colorado State. From 1984 to 1987 he was a senior systems engineer with AMF Electronics in Sterling, Va. From 1987 to 1991 he was a senior software engineer with Air Lane Systems Corp. in Fairfax, Va.
From 1955 to 1958 he was a technical sergeant in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division.
Mr. Glaser was a member of St. Martin's Evangelical Lutheran Church and the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia. In college he was a member of Pi Tau Sigma, Kappa Mu Epsilon, Omicron Delta Kappa and Sigma Tau.
His interests included genealogy, European history, growing roses and solving complex mathematical problems.
On Jan. 31, 1958, he was married
to Janet Irene Glaser.
Also surviving are one daughter, Katherine Hardman of Taneytown in Carroll County; one brother, Edwin Glaser of Cheyenne, Wyo.; and three grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Oscar, Raymond, Adeline and Frances Glaser.
Burial was private. Arrangements were by Taylor Funeral Home.
Mert Jensen
Mert S. Jensen, 68, a resident of Edgewater for 40 years, died June 14, 2002 at her home. The cause of death was not available.
Mrs. Jensen was born Oct. 11, 1933, in Crewe, Va. She worked as a secretary at Hope House in Crownsville for 18 years.
She was an avid nature lover who enjoyed bird watching, travel and being with her friends.
She was the widow of Roy Jensen.
Surviving are her two sons, Jeff Jensen of Edgewater and James L. Moore III of Richmond, Va.; and three grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Friday at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, with services to follow. Burial will be private.

Mary Juenemann
Mary Agnes Lepore Juenemann, 80, died of natural causes June 18, 2002 at her home in Garland, Texas.
Mrs. Juenemann was born Dec. 14, 1921, and lived in Washington, D.C., until 1986 when she moved to Texas with her granddaughter, Kris Ann Tippett.
She loved to crochet.
In addition to her granddaughter, she is survived by her daughter, Patricia Juenemann Tippett of Lothian; one great-grandson; and two sisters, Celia Thomas of Camp Springs and Theresa Coady of Fort Washington.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Sousanne and Mary Katherine Hutchinson, and by her husband, Adolph Juenemann.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Word of God Baptist Church, 6435 Mount Pisgah Farm Road, La Plata. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice.
Dorothy Morris
Dorothy May Morris, 65, a 13-year resident of Annapolis and formerly of Bowie and Crofton, died June 13, 2002 at the Spa Creek Center, Genesis ElderCare Network, after a two-year illness.
Mrs. Morris was born Aug. 19, 1936, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late William and Dorothy May Merkel. She moved to Bowie in 1964. Her interests included cooking, music, playing cards, dancing, shopping and spend time with family and friends. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting and music events.
Surviving are her son, Steven M. Morris of Annapolis; and two grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Marvin and Maureen Merkel.
No formal services were held. Arrangements were by Hardesty Funeral Home. A remembrance of her life will be held in July.

Walter Mussante
Walter M. Mussante, 84, died of natural causes June 23, 2002 at his home in Tracys Landing.
Born July 6, 1917, in Seat Pleasant, Mr. Mussante was a graduate of Strayer Business College.
He served in the Army during World War II as a chief warrant officer, earning the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star and the Good Conduct Medal.
He and Madeline Mussante were married
in 1946 and lived in Tracys Landing for the past 29 years.
He was employed as a millwork estimator and salesman for Lamar and Wallace, retiring in 1981 after 34 years of service. He then became a self-employed builder with Charles Baumann.
Mr. Mussante was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in West River. He loved vegetable farming and working the land, working with his hands and building.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Walter Mussante of Burtonsville and Leslie Mussante of Owings; two daughters, Marilyn Stewart of San Lorenzo, Calif., and Patricia Mussante of Herndon, Va.; one brother, John Mussante of Landover; two sisters, Margaret Arnold of Winchester, Va., and Mildred Mussante of Landover; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was the brother of the late Pauline Walker, Stella, Steve and Dustin Mussante and Gloria Hunt.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Hardesty Funeral Home, 905 Galesville Road, Galesville. A funeral Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Road, West River. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill cemetery in Suitland.
