Willa Neff
Funeral services for Willa A. Neff, 27, of Gambrills, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Singleton Funeral Home, 1 Second Ave. SW in Glen Burnie, where visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday.
Mr. Neff died July 13, 2002 at the Shock-Trauma Center at University Hospital in Baltimore from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident that day in Severna Park.
Born in Maryland on April 16, 1975, he worked for Bulk Register, a Web site hosting company.
His interests were computers, movies, foreign languages and traveling.
He was the son of the late Ronald J. Neff II.
Surviving are his mother and stepfather, Ubon and Ronald R. Baynes of Australia; one sister, Amy Neff of Arnold; one brother, Ronnie J. Neff III of Gambrills; and two half-brothers, Christopher and Andrew Baynes of Australia.
Burial will be in Bestgate cemetery in Annapolis.
Melvin Parker
The name of Melvin Alonzo Parker's mother was omitted from his obituary yesterday.
Mr. Parker, of Edgewater, who died of heart failure July 15, 2002 at his home, was the son of the late Gloria Onley.
Louise Winemiller
Louise Evelyn "Lou" Winemiller, 71, recently of Adelphi and formerly of Waldorf for six years and Churchton for 25 years, died from complicaitons of pneumonia July 20, 2002 at Washington Adventist Hospital.
Mrs. Wine-miller was born March 20, 1931, in Spokane, Wash., and graduated in 1949 from Lebanon High School in Oregon.
She worked at the deli and bakery at the IGA store in Churchton and was a cook at Oysterman's Inn, now Skipper's Pier, and at Happy Harbor in Deale.
She was a member of Shady Side Chapter 114, Order of the Eastern Star. Her interests included her family, shopping and sweepstakes.
In 1964 she was married
to Wilson C. Winemiller. The couple was divorced in 1978.
Surviving are her children, Robert G. Steffenson of Santa Rosa, Calif., Michael L. Greathouse Sr. of Edgewater, Gary W. Hibbard Sr. of Port Charlotte, Fla., Kevin C. and Jeffrey E. Winemiller of Adelphi, Timothy C. Winemiller of La Plata and Gregory D. Mears of Barclay in Queen Anne's County; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was the daughter of the late Yalmer and Sylvia Alkio and the sister of the late Kenneth L. Alkio.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and from 4 to 7 p.m. tomorrow at Hardesty Funeral Home, 905 Galesville Road, Galesville, where services will be at 6 p.m. Burial will be private.

Emily Bouchane
Emily E. "Elaine" Bouchane, 81, a native and lifetime resident of Annapolis, died July 18, 2002 at her home. She had coronary artery disease.
Born May 2, 1921, and a homemaker, Mrs. Bouchane graduated from Annapolis High School. During World War II she worked at the former Experimental Station at North Severn.
She enjoyed reading and caring for her animals as well as neighborhood animals.
In 1945 she married
Walter E. Bouchane who died in 1985.
She is survived by one son, Ronald W. Bouchane of Annapolis; one daughter, Cathy Ann Baughman of San Diego, Calif.; one sister, Helen Olson of Pasadena; three grandchildren; and one step-granddaughter. She was the sister of the late Edward Paul Sherlock.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday in the chapel at the Maryland Veterans cemetery in Crownsville where burial will follow.

K'Shanti Colon
K'Shanti Kapriel Colon, infant daughter of Kenya Thomas and Hector Colon of Annapolis, was stillborne July 12, 2002 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her grandparents, Tarsha and Eugene Thomas and Andrea and Willie Charles of Annapolis; and her great-grandparents, Mary Tanner of Annapolis, Carolyn Holland of Bowie and Pilar Ortiz Torres and Rafael Torres of Puerto Rico.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Reese and Sons Mortuary, 821 West St. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.
John Hunt Jr
Retired Navy Chief John N. "J.R." Hunt Jr., 79, a resident of Annapolis for more than 40 years, died of cancer July 18, 2002 at the Heritage Harbour Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Chief Hunt was born Deb. 13, 1923, in Harrisburg, Ark. He left home at age 17 to join the Navy and became a chief petty officer before retiring after 23 years of service. He was in World War II and the Korean War.
Subsequently he worked locally as a cabinet maker for Bayside Cabinets and for a while in the maintenance department at St. John's College.
He was a member of the Fleet Reserve Association and the American Legion. He enjoyed vegetable gardening and sharing the bounty of food with family and friends.
Surviving are his wife, Thelma L. Hunt; two daughters, Diane Sametz of New Jersey and Laura Kramer of Edge-water; one sister, Louella Mills of Harrisburg, Ark.; and six grandchildren.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow at Taylor Funeral Home, 147 Duke of Gloucester St., where services will be at 10 a.m. Monday. Burial will be in Lakemont cemetery in Davidsonville.
Louis Klenkel
Louis "Louie" Adolph Klenkel, 70, a resident of Bowie for 37 years, died of cancer July 18, 2002 at his home after a six-month illness.
Mr. Klenkel was born Oct. 9, 1931, in Glen Cove, Long Island, N.Y., where he was senior class president at Glen Cove High School. He also attended Long Island University. A pilot instructor, he was a captain in the Air Force when he retired in 1964 after 12 years of service. He received numerous medals for meritorious service in Vietnam.
From 1964 to 1991 he was a pilot with American Airlines.
Mr. Klenkel was a member of Holy Trinity Episcopal Church. He was considered a superb artist and entreprenuer. Gardening and cooking were among his interests.
In September 1954 he married
Barbara Anne Klenkel who died in June 1981. On Sept. 3, 1988, he married
Mary E. "Mimi" Klenkel.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Phillip Ross and Gary Dean Klenkel of Bowie and Peter John Klenkel of Severna Park; three daughters, Louanne Klenkel of Hartwell, Ga., Heidi Hilend of Orlando, Fla., and Noelle Depper Schmidt of Flower Mound, Texas; and 20 grandchildren.
He was the brother of the late Richard Klenkel and Margaret Kaufmann.
Visitation is from 1 to 3 p.m. today at Evans Funeral Home, 16000 Annapolis Road, Bowie, with services at 3 p.m. Burial will be private.
Stephen Mitchell
Stephen T. "Steve" Mitchell, 53, of Tracys Landing, died of a heart attack July 18, 2002 at Calvert Memorial Hospital in Prince Frederick.
Mr. Mitchell was born in Riverdale on Feb. 14, 1949, and grew up in University Park. He was a graduate of Northwestern High School in Hyattsville in 1968 and of Davis and Elkins College in Elkins, W. Va., in 1972.
That year he married
Linda Mathews and they made their home in Riverdale until moving to Tracy's Landing in 1982.
He worked in the construction industry, most recently as a project manager with Paul Davis Systems, specializing in insurance restoration work. He previously worked for the O'Donahue Construction Co.in the Washington, D.C., area.
Mr. Mitchell formerly was active as a soccer coach, commissioner and board member with the United Youth Club in Lothian.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Robert M. "Rob" Mitchell and Seth M. Mitchell, and one daughter, Carly M. Mitchell, all of the home; his mother, Catherine H. Mitchell of Silver Spring; and one brother, William B. Mitchell of Frederick. He was the son of the late Robert T. Mitchell.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Rausch Funeral Home, 8325 Mount Harmony Lane, Owings, where services will be at 8 p.m. Burial will be private.
