Eugene J. 'Bud' Saylor, 81, of Westminster
Eugene John "Bud" Saylor, 81, of Westminster died Friday, March 21, 2008, at Beverly Living Center.
Born July 24, 1926, in Smallwood, he was the son of the late John Elmer and Belle Eugenia Easton Saylor. He was the husband of Nadine M. Frock Saylor, his wife of 58 years, whom he married
May 14, 1949.
He served in the Army during World War II in the 94th Infantry Division 302 Maryland Infantry, Company K, in France, Germany and Czechoslovakia.
He was a retired self-employed carpenter and was also a carpenter for the State of Maryland at Rosewood.
He was a life member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Molleville Farm Post No. 467 and the American Legion Carroll Post No. 31. He was also a member of the Tri-District Republican Club.
He was a life member of Deer Park United Methodist Church, serving as a trustee there and for Deer Park Cemetery.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a son and daughter-in-law, Gary E. and Cindy E. Saylor of Westminster; a grandson, Eric J. Saylor and his fiancée Kristen Banker of Westminster; a granddaughter, Rebecca K. Saylor of Westminster; a great-granddaughter, Annelise Saylor of Westminster; a sister-in-law, Elaine C. Saylor of Westminster; and nephews Mike and Don Strine, and Jeff and Rick Saylor.
He was predeceased by a sister, Nancy Strine.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Deer Park United Methodist Church, 2205 Sykesville Road, Smallwood, with his pastor, the Rev. Basil Day, officiating. Interment will be in Deer Park cemetery with military honors.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, and from 10 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at the church.

John E. 'Jack' 'Candy Man' Sinnott, 79, of Westminster
John E. "Jack" "Candy Man" Sinnott, 79, of Westminster died Monday, March 17, 2008, at Carroll Hospice Dove House.
He was the husband of Shirley F. Sinnott.
He was a Navy veteran and a retired regional vice president of Purolator Courier. He was a member of two churches and the Masonic lodge.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are a daughter, Jean; a brother, Bud; an aunt, Esther; and cousins Maxine, Joe, Carol, Billy and Janice.
Interment is private at Dulany Valley Memorial Gardens.

Maurice R. Troxell, 84, of Owings Mills
Maurice Russell Troxell, 84, of Owings Mills died Thursday, March 20, 2008, at Futurecare Cherrywood in Reisterstown.
Born Sept. 25, 1923, in Detour, he was the son of the late Russell and Ruth Sprague Troxell. He was the husband of Doris Mae Robertson Troxell, his wife of 61 years.
He was an Army veteran of World War II. He was a bus driver for the Maryland Transportation Authority and was a painting contractor. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Russell and Candy Troxell of Westminster; daughters and sons-in-law Debbie and Bobby Bower of Finksburg, Paula and Richard Hess of Manchester and Tammie and Michael Comegys Sr. of Elkridge; a sister, Ann R. Mettee of Westminster; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 8 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, with his pastor, the Rev. Terrance L. Thrasher of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.

Kenneth John Bellin

Kenneth John Bellin, 47 years old of Reisterstown, died suddenly on Sunday, July 3, 2011 at his home.
Born April 11, 1964 in Wisconsin, he was the son of Lois Ann Simmerling Bellin of Ova Valley, Arizona and the late John Ernest Bellin.
He was the loving partner of Janet Craven for 26 years.
He was a graduate of Franklin High School, Class of 1982 and a graduate of University of Maryland, Baltimore County. He worked as a bartender.
In addition to his mother and partner, he is survived by his brothers: Douglas Bellin of Freeland, MD., Steve Bellin of British Columbia and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his sister Becky Gerbowski
A Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, July 8th, 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 65 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon.
Interment is Private.

Michael Lee Davis
(March 11, 1959 - July 4, 2011)
Michael Lee Davis, 52, of Lineboro died Monday, July 4, 2011 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born March 11, 1959 in Harford County, Maryland, he was the son of Robert Martin Davis of DE and Lena Marie Ayers Code of Reno, NV. He was the husband of Karen Elaine Bowersox Davis, his wife of 22 years.
He was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro. He was an auto appraiser for Macaw Appraisals. He enjoyed bluegrass music.
Surviving in addition to his wife and parents are his sons Wyatt Austin, Kyle Robert, and Colton Garrett Davis all of Lineboro; and his sister Wanda Denise O’Toole of Reno, NV.
He was predeceased by his brother Barry Martin Davis.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday with his pastor the Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating.
Interment will be in Lineboro cemetery in Lineboro.

Shirley M. Cole

Shirley M. Cole, 74, of Owings Mills died Tuesday, June 21, 2011 at her residence.
Born October 13, 1936 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Harry Benson Brown and Mary Jane Markey Brown.
She was the wife of the late Robert Lee Cole, Jr., who died in 2005.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are her children David Cole of Baltimore, Lee Cole of Hampstead, and Charles Cole of Owings Mills; her brothers Harry Brown, Jr. of Parkville, William Brown of Mt. Airy, and Robert Brown of Hampden; her sisters Dorothy Alden and Edie Cole both of Owings Mills; and her 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday with the Rev. Chris Brammer officiating.
Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Park in Sykesville.
Nancy Carol Hannah

Nancy Carol Hannah, 60, of Abingdon died at Friday, July 1, 2011 at her residence.
Born June 15, 1951 in New Jersey, she was the daughter of Samuel Gore of Brooksville, FL and the late Eleanora Clavell Gore.
She was a member of Mountain Christian Church in Joppa.
She worked a Registered Nurse and was a graduate of the nursing program at the former Catonsville Community College.
She enjoyed computer games and bird watching.
Surviving in addition to her father are her daughters and sons-in-law Crystal and Thomas Saulsbury of Abingdon and Jenny and Adam Meyers of Reisterstown; her sisters Sharon Clavell and Doris Richardson; and her 5 grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Friday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills until time of memorial service at 2 p.m.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
