Thomas O'Neil
(December 10, 1946 - February 9, 2012)
Thomas O’Neil, 65, of Reisterstown died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Born December 10, 1946 in Brooklyn, NY, he was son of the late Walter O’Neil and Lucy Jansch O’Neil. He was the soul mate and companion of Linda E. Carlson Struble.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Reisterstown. He was a Vietnam veteran of U.S. Army. He was the founder and owner of Wolf Communications and worked as a Security Guard for All County Security Agency.
He was a member of the Reisterstown Moose, Ghost Riderz Car Club and formerly of Dream Machines of Carroll County.
Surviving are his wife Deborah O’Neil of Port Jefferson, NY; his children Erin O’Neil Cesare and husband John of New York, Nathaniel O’Neil of New York, and Jonathan Struble and wife Carla of Reisterstown; his brothers Donald O’Neil and Jerry O’Neil both of New York; and his grandchildren Gabriel and Gideon Cesare of New York.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, February 15 at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills and from 11 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 Noon Thursday, February 16 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 109 Main St., Reisterstown with the Rev. Timothy Feaser officiating.
Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery.

Howard L. Hayes, Jr.
(July 9, 1916 - January 13, 2012)
Howard L. Hayes, Jr. 95 years old of Owings Mills, died January 13, 2012 at the Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
Born July 9, 1916 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Howard L. Sr. and Bertha M. Hayes.
He was the husband of the late Virginia M. Ross Hayes who died in 1994.
He is survived by his children and their spouses: Howard L. Hayes III and his wife Pilar of Gambrills and Linda Louise Bloom and her husband Ralph of Martinsburg, West Virginia, a sister, Dorothy Isaac in Flordia, 5 grandchildren, Ana, Jennifer, Stacey, Ross and Holly. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his brother, Franklin Hayes.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
Burial will be on Thursday, 11:00 AM at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
Eunice C. Shipp
(June 25, 1925 - January 15, 2012)
Eunice C. Shipp, 86, of Westminster died Sunday, January 15, 2012 at her residence.
Born June 25, 1925 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Fuller. She was wife of Calvin Andrew Shipp, her husband of 59 years, who died in 2003.
She was a cashier for Pantry Pride Supermarket. She was a life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her children and spouse Dan Shipp and his wife Gloria of Westminster, Gary Shipp and his wife Vi of Berlin, Bonnie Chaffman of Finksburg, Kathy Worszak of Monkton; her 9 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday.
Interment will be in Lakeview Memorial Park.

Bernice T. Martin
(April 7, 1912 - January 20, 2012)
Bernice T. Martin age 99 of Manchester, died Friday January 20, 2012 at the Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born April 7, 1912 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Lovell Taylor and Mary Lulu Amanda Dehaven Taylor. She was the wife of the late Emory L. Martin.
As a child she attended Hampstead High School. Later in life she raised foster children and was a Cub Scout Leader.
During WW II she was one of the “Rosie the RiveterS”. She was a member of Lazarus United Church of Christ in Lineboro, MD.
She enjoyed knitting and crocheting and made baby caps for new born babies at Carroll Hospital Center.
She is survived by her daughter, Leona M. Eckert and husband Frank of Wayne, New Jersey. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 24 great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a son: Emory Eugene Martin, and daughter in-law Gloria Houck Martin, sisters: Ella Piazza and Agnes Fields, 3 grandchildren and 1 great- granddaughter.
The family will receive friends 1 p.m. Tuesday until time of funeral service at 2 p.m. at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with her pastor, Rev. Sam Chamelin officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Gardens in Finksburg.

Donald Albert Mays
(September 15, 1944 - January 21, 2012)
Donald Albert Mays age 67 of Parkton, MD. died Saturday Jan. 21, 2012 at his home.
Born Sept. 15, 1944 in Carroll County, MD. he was the son of Virginia Rill Mays of Parkton, MD. and the late Page Walter Mays. He was the husband of 21 years to Debra Hale Mays.
Mr. Mays was a retired field test engineer for Black & Decker. He also was a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are children: Donald Mays, Jr. and wife Angela of Shrewsbury, PA., Scott Frost and wife Michelle, Teresa Mays and friend Debi, all of Florida, William Stem and wife Cynthia of Felton, PA. and Michael Stem and wife Crystal of Hanover, PA. brother: Page Mays, Jr. of Ohio. sisters: Brenda Matthews of Ocean Pines, MD., Shirley and Connie Mays both of Parkton, MD. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church, 2533 Mt. Carmel Rd., Parkton, MD. 21120 on Wednesday at 10:00am. with the Rev. Scott Shumaker officiating.
Interment will be in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
The family will receive friends at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm.

Catherine Darlene "Cathy" Harden

Catherine “Cathy” Darlene Harden age 63 of Manchester, MD. died Friday Feb. 3, 2012 at her home.
Born Dec. 26, 1948 in Hanover, PA. she was the daughter of Doris Shorb Wentz of Manchester, MD. and the late Raymond Earl Wentz. She was the wife of Charles Melvin Harden her husband of 38 years.
She was a produce clerk for Weis food store in Westminster, MD. years ago she worked for Hanover Shoe. She was also a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church . She enjoyed yard sales and time with her family.
Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are children: Todd Eric Harden of Abbottstown, PA., Scott Allen Harden of Manchester, MD. and Angie Elaine Fuhrman and husband Will of Hanover, PA. sister: Pam Nichols and husband Bill of Hanover, PA. brother: Ray Wentz and wife Sue of Hanover, PA. granddaughters: Hailey Grace Fuhrman, Katelyn and Alyssa Harden and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. 21102 on Tuesday at 10:00 am. with the Rev. Stacy March and Deacon Melissa Helfer officiating.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8pm. at the funeral chapel. Interment will be in John Luther Miller Cemetery, Westminster, MD.

Lucetta Hollis "Holly" Larrimore
(June 16, 1936 - February 9, 2012)
Lucetta Hollis ”Holly” Larrimore, 75, of Pikesville died Thursday, February 9, 2012 at her residence.
Born June 16, 1936 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Howard Schildwachter and Lucetta Bayer Schildwachter. She was the wife of Lee Eugene “Gene” Larrimore, her husband of 52 years.
She was a cafeteria worker at Pikesville High School.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her daughter and son-in-law Patti and Wayne Weiss of Hampstead; her son and daughter-in-law Dale and Alice Larrimore of Lansdowne; her brother and sister-in-law Howard and Sue Schildwachter of Taneytown; and her grandsons Ronnie, Jimmy, and Billy Larrimore.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills where a memorial service will be held 8 p.m. Thursday.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
